We traveled to Depo Bay with our two dogs Mason and Madison, staying in a resort that doesn’t allow pets so I found Salty Dog to board them.What a great camp experience for them! Shawn was so wonderful with them and gave updates. I was concerned that our dogs might not do well in Day Care but with expert introduction they did great!We highly recommend the Salty Dog Lounge for boarding, Day Care and even the self serve dog wash!

The owners here are great. They really care about the dogs that they're handing and taking care of. They offer doggy day care, self service dog washing area, and nail trimming (possibly other services that I'm not aware of). I'd recommend giving them a try.

We were a little worried dropping off the furry kids and not familiar with them.You're greeted at the door, they come outside and take your pups (Covid rules).Intake information is double checked and off they go.When we picked up our two, they were happy, excited and not nervous.They were definitely tired from playing.Happy pups make for happy people.Our two had a great time and I would take them back whenever I'm visiting that area again.

Absolutely the best place to take your pups from day care to grooming they have it all! They treated my pups like family and were there for use when we really needed some extra play time for some super energetic aussies!!! We wish we didn’t have to move !! My dog Aries can be a little grumpy and we boarded him there for 10 days they did the most amazing job with him and couldn't recommend this place more. You can truly see that they care greatly about the animals. Will be using them from now on and thank you to the workers and owners.

Absolutely the best! Our dog loves going to Salty Dog. He gets so excited when we drop him off. He loves the people there and he loves playing with other dogs. They love our dog as if he were their own. We never worry when he’s there. It’s such wonderful peace of mind when we need to be away that he is in excellent hands.

We are currently staying with family for a month in Lincoln City with my Standard Poodle pup. Being a water dog, he LOVES the ocean and the beach. Being a show pup, he's in a full continental cut, meaning lots of hair that requires maintenance, especially when mixed with salt and sand. Plus, I am not so fond of how he smells after a week or so of twice daily beach time. That's where the Salty Dog Hound Lounge comes in! There self service dog wash is AMAZING! For just $15, I have access to all the supplies I could need to properly groom my pup, getting him nice and squeaky clean. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly, and the supplies provided were excellent. Theres a walk in tub with stairs, a big grooming table, also with stairs and a grooming arm, a nice high velocity dryer, as many towels as one could use, and an array of brushes. Unlike other places, I have never been rushed to hurry up and finish my grooming, nor have they kicked me out due to exceeding a "reasonable" time in their opinion. They have been nothing but kind and helpful. The only thing I'd like to see improved was more options for shampoo and conditioner. Regardless, will definitely be back before the end of our vacation to groom our pup yet again.

We had to be in Lincoln City last-minute and needed a place to board our dog for the night. After reading the great reviews, we decided to call and are SO happy that we did. The girl I spoke to on the phone was beyond nice and very helpful. They were incredible flexible with the drop-off time (anytime before 5) and let me bring my dog's own bed and food. Liza helped me when I dropped Roadie off and was so, so nice!! My son loved her and our dog warmed right up to her. She came out and sat on the floor with him and gave him a chance to warm up- then walked right through the door with her!There is NO dog smell when you enter and our dog came back clean, happy and smelling WONDERFUL. They obviously give each dog lots of attention and love. I HIGHLY recommend if you are looking for a boarder in Lincoln City.

I've not left my dogs here for boarding yet, but I've used the self serve dog wash several times and had them trim the dogs nails. I will use the boarding when I have a need though; it's a nice facility and the owners seem to be really good and caring with the dogs. Prices are very reasonable too.

Folks here do such a good job! Our dog is not a super easy boarder -- he loves people but he doesn't do well with other dogs, and he sometimes gets noisy and stressed out when he's boarded. When we pick him up from Salty Dog, though, he's happy and relaxed and he obviously loves the folks there. The facility has plenty of room for large dogs, too, which is another concern we often have when boarding our 90 lb beastie. I feel confident that he's getting enough individual attention and exercise while we're gone. They do a really nice job with grooming, too!

We took our shy girl to Salty Dog for a claw trim today and had a wonderful experience. They treated her like one of their own, with patience and love. Couldn’t ask for a better experience anywhere. Our pup was cautious going in, but left with a smile, wags, and a new friend.

Addy is a 8 month old COVID puppy that needs to learn how to "dog". The owners met her to see her temperament and she loved them. (Dogs & kids have the best judge of character 😉)She has been there twice for 1/2 day and will continue. Great place. My 16 month old Border Terrier is persistent. The staff is finding creative ways to redirect his energy and offering me suggestions to work with him more effectively. Very happy with their approach and flexibility. Have boarded him there several times with no problems. He doesn't want to leave.

First time I've brought the dog here (wife usually does) a guy met me outside and was really nice to me and our dog. He trimmed our dog's nails in record time, I swear it was MAYBE 3 minutes until they came back out. Thanks for the quick service and friendly manner. You guys got my vote 👍👍

We LOVE Salty Dog. Liza and Sean are great people who love what they do, and it shows in their business. We've used their kennel services many times, and I can tell you they take great care of the pups in their charge. My two sleep for days after their visit!! I highly recommend.

Last minute drop in and my first time doing a self serve dog wash. They were so helpful orienting me to all the products and tools at my fingertips. The outside looks like a big wear house, but the inside was well equipped for a great experience.

I moved here a year and a half ago and needed to find a place to board my "main man and permanent squeez, Burley Boy"! I picked Salty Dog Hound because of the great reviews and I am not disappointed! In fact I'm so over the top about this place that I want everyone to know how FABULOUS this place is. Burley is an "old soul" who needs to be loved and feel secure. I've boarded him here 4 times and I feel 100% confident that he is being cared for just as I would. They send me videos of him playing with other dogs-they not only care for my dog but me too!!
