Was visiting LC and needed a nail trim for my little lady, Penelope. Called and was greeted by a pleasant sounding woman who said "no problem just walk in when you want" got there and it took less than 5 minutes to have the mani/pedi knocked out. Plus my Yorkie got the cutest baby bathrobe for my Yorkie for only $10!

She butchered my dog. She shaved him, including his undercoat. The whole reason I took him in was so I wouldn't have to take hours to comb it out myself (extremely long and gorgeous coat...specifically paid a Large amount for him for his breed and coat). Figured I could pay her to...NEVER again. She said she *might* have to trim a little patch...she shaved 95% of my dog, he looked Absolutely ridiculous and was so embarrassed I could barely even walk him for days (my dog I mean!! How sad is that?!). She Did Not have my permission to shave his ENTIRE BODY. She left his head and tail fluffy...she trimmed those too and couldn't even get that straight and even. Had I known that was her intention I would never have left him. Then to rush me out the door she told me he was very aggressive toward her ... first of all. No. He wasn't, he has never been aggressive. I have small children and he's extremely gentle. Second...of course he was uncomfortable and didn't hold still or just Let you do that to him!! He's a puppy (he was only 8 months old, almost 9) and you SHAVED him!! Probably 10 pounds of hair at least. I'm still so angry... don't take your pet here unless you want it shaved and don't expect that to be even either....I understand some dogs get shaved regularly...my dog is not that kind of breed. I have attached before and after pictures. Bet you can guess which is before 😠

Absolutely worst experience! She choose to shave my dog’s top knot off completely because “she didn’t want him to look like a poodle” took 5 month to grow back! You’ll have no control of what she chooses to determine is right. Professional groom done by another groomer not hers!

I used the self service station. My German Shepard didn't want to go up the stairs, but the person there helped me. Once in the Tub (it's raised so you aren't bending over the whole time) I secured the collar to the wall. There is no temperature adjustment, but it's nicely warm. They provide an apron, that is effective keeping you dry and mostly hair-free. They also supply the shampoo and towel and a blow dryer.About 20 minutes later I had a clean dog. The price is reasonable and is worth it to avoid hurting your back in your own tub, or putting your friend under a hose in the yard, with the cold water. And the people are helpful and friendlyMy third visit.

Took our Mini Schnauzer, Willie, here for a bath and pedicure. Very friendly and professional establishment. Willie came out looking and smelling wonderful. Will definitely keep Lucky Dog Grooming in mind next time in Lincoln City on vacation. Highly recommend!

What loving and caring staff. We have been taking our Lhasa there for many many years. Julia does an amazing job each and every time. Nothing beats the way he comes out of the shop brimming with pride as he stuts his new hairdo! Highly recommended. I feel like the price is well worth the service. A few times, she has even been able to get us in the same day!

Not at all impressed with their service. Took our medium sized dog in for a nail trim, he was anxious and nervous, not at all aggressive but he was shaking. We were asked to hold him, she clipped his nails (in less than 60 seconds) and never once spoke to our dog and barely two sentences to us. Another person took our money. They barely acknowledged our dog nor did they attempt to help him relax. We are new to the area and will take our business elsewhere.

After a walk on the beach with my two dogs I needed a place to clean them up before the long drive home. I found that Lucky dog grooming had self serve washing tubs. Inexpensive and well worth the time and money I got my two best friends clean and comfortable for the ride home, and with a much cleaner car. The people at Lucky Dog were friendly and helpful, even though they were obviously very busy. The salon was clean and comfortable. All in all it was a rewarding experience for me and my beloved dogs.

Not exactly sure how to rate the business. Julia is the owner and a great groomer. The problem is she wants to higher others to do the work. My dog was so scared after one of her employees worked on Bert that he shook uncontrollably when I retu Bottom line you are no better than the employees that work for you returned the following day on the weekend.

Don't know what the negative reviews below are about except people are crazy. These people are pros and run this business like it should be run, namely ON TIME. My 2 dogs are in and out in an hour (usually) the cuts are as ordered, and I know my dogs are not mistreated... which isn't always the case around Lincoln City. I give them 5 stars for professionalism.

Really impressed-scotties are not the easiest dog to groom and ours is a rescue so she is easily terrorized and bites. The groom was just exactly what I asked for, done quickly and while my girl was anxious to leave it was obvious that she had been treated gently. So thank you, highly recommend

We were just passing through and our sweet chow chow Kyia needed a thourough grooming... ashamedly we’ve traveled the country for three months and let her run dog wild through coastal and desert lands for weeks bath free. She was a mess. The owners did an AMAZING JOB and took her in without an appointment. She is a chow, so most are afraid to groom her, however they were super professional and knowledgeable about breeds and were able to even clip her nails, which she really hates. Thank you so much!!!!! 💞

Lucky dog is one of the worst dog grooming places I ever have been. The rush your dogs through like cattle and my dogs often came home nicked and it was clear they'd been bleeding. I have one dog who has anxiety with dog kennels and they hated having him there as he would bark. They would call me telling me to come get him immediately. When you check in there, there was absolutely no friendliness or warmth. I would reccomend never using this dog grooming facility!

Brought Dog in to get cleaned up and she was nervous, talked to owner Julia and she did everything she could to make her feel better. Great groomer, friendly staff. I highly recommend this place for your dog's.

Last time my thoughts were...Nice people, reasonable prices, only place my girls get their mani pedis.This time... the cell phones with BOTH workers/owners were MORE important than my dog's nail trim. 'She' carried on a phone conversation my entire visit and 'he' had his face in his phone.PUT DOWN YOUR PHONES AND GIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE! And take the selfie stand off the counter!!!Talk about a 180 and not in a good way 👎

Someone I know just got her Sheltie groomed here. She explained three times what she wanted but the groomer SHAVED THE DOG COMPLETELY. Anyone who knows Shelties (Google an image if you don't) knows that this is a long-haired, double-coated breed and you NEVER shave it as it needs its coat for protection from the elements, even in summer.When the dog's owner complained the groomer was extremely rude to the point of hanging up on her. Very unprofessional. Take your business elsewhere.

If I could give minus stars I would. Where to begin first the price changes from what they told me it would be when I drop my dog off to when I puck him up. Next my dog was still wet when I picked him up. What do they say they can do is have me come back and they will redry him um no I've wasted 2 hpurs of my time and they idnt do it right so I feel anymore time would be wasted. Next they tell me my dog has fleas and there's a charge for that I say really my dog has never had fleas they ask what I give him I tell them trifexis what the vet gives me amd thy sy that's a great pill not sure why he has fleas they say scam just to get more money out of ypu. So I call to talk to the owner and explain all this and she says oh well basically and blows me off what the hell. I could go on and on basically avoid this place at all coats go to salty dog cheaper friendlier cleaner and no hidden costs

Didn't have a very good experience here. The employees were on their cell phone chatting away, and the staff didn't seem friendly. My wife was asking a few questions, The lady acted bothered by my wife asking the questions. When we got our dog back the haircut was not what we wanted. We have taken our business elsewhere!

I was doing laundry next door and was sitting outside and they called the cops on me. Why, I have no idea but this place needs Jesus bad. Don't go there. Terrible service and horrible people working there. Stay away please.
