My wife loves Jo Ann Fabric, but this time they didn't have want she wanted. Picture frame is what she was after. We drove from Newport to Lincoln, Oregon to hopefully find one. Otherwise, they had many items to choose from. Their shelves were filled as my photos will show you.My wife is a quilter and loves going to Jo Ann's around the country. She likes buying quarters, jelly rolls and Batiks. She did find the grey thread she needed for her cross stitch project- A present for Jan in Canada we're visiting later on on this trip.So, we went away with one item she needs to complete the cross stitch. Nice selection of fleece and novelty print cotton fabrics, which is what I'm mostly interested in. Helpful and friendly staff. I've been here several times while camping in the area and I'll be back again. I was also thrilled to find a British crafting magazine with some clear stamps I really liked.

Customer service was fantastic. Fabric counter clerk was so helpful & greeted with smiles & they got excited with me about the project I was doing. Their input for matching was gladly welcomed. Definitely recommend visiting. I visit whenever I can!

Very friendly and super helpful staff! They were just wonderful helping me find what I needed, and made a suggestion to make my linen lampshade stronger with an iron-on backing. The prices were amazing, wait time was fast, and the store was well-organized and very clean!

I love this place weather shopping on line or going to the store itself. If they don't have something look on line to see if they ship it or even carry it. They carry so much & I love the selection. The employees are very nice & at this store I don't know if I have ever run into a grumpy employee in the last 20+ years.

Another of shelves missing product. No greeting when entering store. Customers were mostly friendly. My first visit to this store. I felt empty when leaving. Won't be back for some time...to bad I I have bought a lot from Other Joan's Stores. Rate 1 out of 10 being great.☹

I just had the best experience ever at this store getting a birthday present for my daughter and found something so special that my man wanted as well... got all the help from the most wonderful employee named Star ⭐️ she was so kind and helpful and took the time to explain how to do our project and was just above and beyond with customer service. I hope the company takes good care of her like she took care of us she is the best and deserves as much

Since this is the only art supply store in town, and I loosely think of myself as an artist, unless I want to go out of town for supplies, this is where I go whenever I need particular supplies, or just want to engage in some shopping therapy.They have about 1/4 of the store dedicated to seasonal decor and project supplies. I enjoy looking at these, but don't tend to buy any of it until it goes on sale, usually just at the beginning of the season or holiday, when these items are usually discounted at 40% to 70%. Otherwise, they're just way too overpriced.Other supplies, especially if you sew, are usually fairly well stocked. Many with decent discounts. Unfortunately, most anything already discounted isn't discounted as much as the coupon deals, and already discounted items are usually not eligible for the larger coupon codes. This can be very confusing at checkout, making for extremely slow lines with never anywhere near enough people manning the tills. Like today, when there was only one checker, and we were behind a lady with about 18 small but Identical items. Due to the usual questions about what items qualify for which discounts, we stood in line behind just that one person for almost 15 minutes before they got everything figured out. I was particularly grumpy when it was finally our turn, and to keep from making a scene, I went outside to the Jeep and let my husband deal with checking out. Joann's corporate needs to do something about the way things are discounted to streamline the checkout process, and the local staff need to call for additional checkers when the one and only checker is taking forever to get confused or frustrated customers checked out.I wish this small town could support another art store, whether a chain or independent retailer.

It looked nice, clean and organized in every way. I was blown away by how much stuff they have over there. I had a good experience overall. Every isle made me feel welcomed and comfortable like I could express myself in every way possible. Would definitely recommend this place especially to people who love arts and crafts in general like myself!

Very kind and knowledgable staff. Some younger staff members could be a little more patient, but I've found the seasoned workers are genuinely interested in arts and crafts and sharing tips and tricks. Always well stocked store, too. I'm thankful for them ❤

A place of craft and art supplies for those who.look outside the box. Has just about everything anyone would want to be creative.Plenty of parking and bathrooms as well as a friendly staff to assist anyone in obtaining there tools to create there desires in the art and or crafty hobby type life. This is the only arts and craft store on the central OR coast so it's pretty much all we've got. It's small, the selection is terribly limited and they don't restock the myriad things I need very often. The customer service is very good though. They've always been friendly and as helpful as possible given the circumstances they have to work with. And it's usually clean and the products are usually displayed properly.

Super nice staff. Very helpful. This time the shelves were a little empty. However I was able to find the baby fabric that I was looking for as well as a great deal on flannel and notions. I do love the coupons!

April 11th 2020 @10:44amTo the lovely extremely rude grumpy mean old lady at the counter today, you should be ashamed of yourself. To the store I would look into keeping her away from customers. Nothing like having your 2 year old son of stealing a basketball sized egg at that..... something he wouldn't have pulled off the shelf without buying.Hopefully next time she thinks about her behavior for a second maybe that will give her enough time to see what's going on before she lets her ugly behavior get the best of her.

The employee that was at register was very friendly and noticed I was buying a book to learn to crochet. She had a little bag of yarn and showed me how to start! I thought that was amazing! She also told me if I ever get stuck to come in and see her! She was very encouraging of my new hobby!

Staff was friendly but it is SO SILENT in that store that it's awkward to shop and feel inspired. Something as simple as putting a radio station on threw the store could easily add a extra 45 mins to my shopping time if it were a more enjoyable environment to browse around.The app is defiantly worth getting for the coupons, think I "saved" $65.00 last time I shopped. Although would be nice if prices were just set at a good price instead of every item being on "sale" lolEither way, I'm happy that this store exist.

Jo-Ann Fabrics always has a really nice selection of unique glass and crystal beads. I downloaded the app and I get rewards and lots of coupons are available! I love it because I always feel like I'm getting a good deal.

Oh man! Do I love this place! They have a million and one things to do and if you haven't already you need to sign up for their newsletter and get your coupons because the savings can be huge! 60% sometimes! Anyway, I usually visit for painting supplies or random items for projects. I cannot think of a moment where I needed something they didn't have. 10 outta 10 will visit again... and again and again LoL

We just drove from Newport to Lincoln city because we purchased fabric to make my daughter a blanket. We called in yesterday to make sure that we didn't need the receipt to return and exchange the gal we talked to said yes that will be fine.We get up here and the front counter lady told us if you don't have the receipt we should be able to look it up by credit card. We said okay thank you. She told us to go back the fabric part of the store where they can help us. We then tell the gal the story of what happened. That when we purchased the fabric it was cut all wrong and we couldn't make a blanket out of it. She said we can't do anything without the receipt. She then grabs her manger that just raised her voice at us for no reason. That was even before we had time to even explain what happened and why we came. I don't understand this at all I am a manger of a store as well and this was the worst service I ever had in my entire life. The manger even called out her employee in front of us named sally. She said that she doesn't know she a nobody. You never talk about your employees like that. You should say I am so sorry that you where missed informed I wish there was something I could do but I honestly can't return this product. Then I can would of understood. If I could give a review of 0 stars I would. Sally you did nothing wrong you where not taught right by your management team.

Customer service (lack of) has gotten horrible lately. Too often I can't find any staff on the floor to help me, except for the cashier and the person cutting fabric, who usually seem disinterested in helping. And the wait in line to check out is ridiculous. There can be only one person in front of you, and it can easily take 10 minutes. The cashier doesn't seem to care there are people in line waiting and makes no effort to make checking out efficiently. Yesterday was the last time I will shop in that store. In fact, I got tired of waiting, set my items down, and left the store. Better to pay shipping than deal with the inconvenience of trying to shop there.
