The walls are paper thin, the people next to us and above had tvs on all night (which I can hear like it's my TV) and have been awake off and on all night talking. They sound like they are in our room...The room is the size of a larger bathroom... Barely got sleep, the rooms are not even connected to the casino .. we are very disappointed with our stay. Unfortunately we won't be back. Beware if you are expecting a nice resort getaway, this is just not the case here.Rooms: Paper thin walls, people next door sound like they are in my room.Food & drinks: Food is all garbage and is super expensive...

Since I’ve been in the Great North West, I have been to numerous casinos. I have to say that I have never seen a casino cheat it’s players worst than this one. I couldn’t believe how blatantly obvious it was. You basically have zero chance to walk away a winner of anything here. The game rules are manipulated way out of the norm for their games. Just click on “Help” and view the game rules. It’s all been customized so you basically have no chance to win anything. See for yourself if you ever visit this casino. The location is nice, they have accommodations for RV’s which is nice. But don’t expect to win anything if you play. It’s just not possible. Sorry. 😒 Happy Trails mates… J.V.

Lovely place as far as casinos go. The atmosphere is nice, or would be if there didn't have to be security guards everywhere. They actually make me realize (along with the guards everywhere you go) that we no longer live in a "free" country. Just the illusion of one. Makes it hard to enjoy the otherwise relatively peaceful atmosphere of the place. Of course everything is expensive, but it's a casino in the coast, one would expect no less ..

The establishment is a casino situated in Lincoln City, Oregon, with the unique distinction of being the only casino in the area to be located adjacent to the ocean. Complimentary fountain beverages, including soda and juice, are provided to guests. The casino features an upper level accessible by an escalator, and parking is available at no charge. While I have not had the opportunity to stay at the resort, I can attest to the exceptional amenities and convenient location of the casino.

It’s a nice casino and we’ve always enjoyed our visits. Decent affordable eats on the casino floor, try the clam chowder! We win sometimes and we have attended many shows and events. Many holidays here and the events are fun and free. I am writing to tell you all the employees are very kind and welcoming, from services to restaurants and bars. Shout out to Jon at casino bar who has been serving us for decades. Every employee should be mentioned here as customer service is exceptional. They have reduced some gaming benefits so I dropped one star but this is a great place to hang and have a little fun. Use the free shuttle on weekends.

I never stayed in the rooms, so I can't really rate it. We went and had dinner. I got the cod and fries while my girlfriend got the steak dip sandwich. The server was prompt with water glass, and our waitress came over and got us our drink order and meal order real quick. The food was great service exceptional. We were from out of state but definitely went back to if we visited the town again.

We arrived pretty late when we checked in. Our room was at the bottom floor with a beautiful window view of the ocean….that was about the only plus thing I can say about this place. The room smell like people were in there doing drugs and drinking all night. It had a bad smell along with cigarette smell! It didn’t feel safe. At 2,3,4,5 am, you can hear people walking around and at some point, they were shaking the door handle to our room! We checked out at 7am. We couldn’t even get any rest because we refused to lay on the bed. It was already after 2am, and it was not safe to sleep in our car in their parking lot. We tried, but a native man told us it would be a bad idea to sleep in our car, and that we were better off staying in the room. What a nightmare that was! I gave 4⭐️ for the location, which it was the beach. Other than that, I do not recommend this place to anyone.

I went for a concert. The venue was one of the best concert setups I've ever seen - and I've been to a lot! There wasn't a bad seat to be found: everybody had a clear view and lots of elbow room, the aisles had these little solid dividers that kept them clear without being obstacles, everything was clearly marked, and A BATHROOM INSIDE THE VENUE?? HELLO?? Can EVERY place do this please?!? I could dart to the ladies room and back again in less than five minutes, never leaving the concert area and not having to fight my way through crowds in and out. The staff was super friendly, every last one of them.Usually I look for where my favorite bands are playing; I'm going to start just checking this venue to see who they have lined up!

I have been visiting Chinook for the past 5 years. My wife enjoys the slots. I don't gamble BUT MY WIFE MAKES UP FOR IT!!I have not had one bad experience at Chinook and we enjoy the assorted concerts and comedy shows.The patrons that visit are friendly as well as staff. We usually eat at the restaurant in the casino and the food is good and service excellent.We are actually going tonight as it's FREE SOCK NIGHT (once my wife gambles for those sock points ) I should end up with at least 4 or 5 pairs.

We had such a great time at Chinook Winds Casino and Resort. We were actually in our RV and we were allowed to park in their RV overnight area. They provided a shuttle from the RV to the casino.We had a fun night gambling, dining, and drinking. Then, we were safely Shuttled back to our RV. Felt very safe, area very secure and clean.Thank you for the fun experience!

Come for 3 nights got a room in the older building on ground floor with a door to the ocean. Rooms were very clean and spacious, the beds were very comfortable. Has microwave and refrigerator. The only thing was the sink had very little space to put anything on. The tub was a little small and shower pressure was ok.I would definitely recommend for anyone to stay, and I will be coming back. Just hearing and seeing the ocean was very relaxingRooms: Loved,loved the beds are amazing and very comfortableNearby activities: Casino just a short walk away or you can call the shuttle and they will pick you up and take you back to the motel. The Shuttle rums from 8am tell 4am, the same hours of the casino.The casino has great selections of table games and slots they also have bingo

Never knew a casino could cheat but this one does (as other reviewers have also noted). We went there and were playing roulette. I was up quite a bit of money (I have studied this game in depth and usually do very well) and then all of a sudden I started losing every single roll. As I was watching the board that posts the last winnings numbers, I noticed this scam of a casino started putting up incorrect numbers. When I spoke to the manager he just shrugged and said sorry. I went back one other time several months later and same thing happened, along with what I can only imagine is some type of magnet or cheating mechanism so the ball lands on what they want it to. If the person that always replies to these reviews would be kind enough to let me know what government entity certifies their machines so I can contact them, I would be most grateful. Also, please let me know when your next casino equipment audit is that credentials your equipment to be working as it should. Only then would I ever I can come and play knowing that your machines will be working that the way they are supposed to.

NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY IN CASINO !! Escalator is broken leaving 1 tiny elevator to go to second floor.My mobility scooter barely fits in it and others were cutting in front of us to get upstairs in the " Elevator" , went to buffet and we paid $ 37 person n got 1 plate of food n salad then they closed down and nobody told us they were closing soon or otherwise , it was $ 115 in buffet for 2 dinners and 2, 4 ounce cocktails and no way to get around. We waited 1 1/2 hours on the floor for a waitress so we could order a cocktail after we ate. "CHAD " night manager, talked to us after we requested a manager . He said he'll let upper management know. That was pretty much it. My money is better spent elsewhere.

To start off we paid 80 bucks for the 2 of us to eat the buffet. That was the worst tasting food I have had I think in my life. The crab was old. The key lime pie felt like chewing on an eraser and to spend almost 100 dollars on that garbage was a huge waste so I figured I go try my luck downstairs and I obviously know I’m not planning on coming out with anything but to lose 3 hands in a row at a 25 DOLLAR MINIMUM black jack table because the dealer got three 21s in a row and cleaned me out in 3 hands. Seems a little sketch if you ask me. How is it I got 12 then a 14 then a 13 while the dealer got 21 3 times in a row. Seems like the machine is a little rigged. I would not suggest wasting your money on this garbage hole. Will not be going to another casino again.Other than that the place looked great. It wasn’t crowded. There was always a table open for cards and plenty of machines for everyone. Beautiful place but sketchy intentions.

So, we checked in around 8:30 Sunday night and got to our room. The sofa had really gross stains on it that were fresh with clearly no attempt to be cleaned up and the bathroom floor had crumbs on it. We asked for a new room and they did oblige. The second room was actually more disgusting than the first but at that point we were tired from our travels and didn’t want to go back to the office. The bathroom door was gross with drippy stuff, the back of the toilet was covered in hair, there was a broken towel hanger and TOENAIL CLIPPINGS all over the carpet. Not to mentions more of the same disgusting crusty stains on the sofa. The next day, we went to breakfast and were locked out of our room with our stuff still inside. We went to the desk and asked for help and they were confused as to why we were in the room in the first place and not the one that was originally booked. We explained that the first room was dirty and no apologies just wanted to know if we had used it at all before moving and said nobody had been back to the original room to clean yet but called the janitors to see if it was still vacant. Took about 30 mins to get the issue resolved and the only thing the front desk lady had to say was “well we didn’t charge you for the upgraded room so we won’t charge you for it again”. Get a better system in place to maintain clean rooms for your guests and do better at resolving issues if there are going to be multiple, we only stayed 2 nights. Also, the receipt given at checkout was confusing and there was no proof that the triple A discount was applied but I guess we will just take their word.

Buffet should have been about $12.95 not $29. The main Prime Rib was absolutely the worst piece of meat I've ever tried to chew. Hard to believe they would try to sell that to anybody. The guy that was cutting the meat and spooning out the clam chowder soup was either simple-minded or a Jerk. I couldn't really tell. He skimmed the top of the giant container of soup to fill the bowl. There was no clams potatoes or anything just juice. The rest of the buffet was just OK. The best thing they had was the Indian fry bread tacos. Not really a taco but tasted like one. And to top it all off the deserts we're nothing to write home about. The caramel salted ice cream was about the only worth trying. Everybody was nice and knew what they were doing except for the guy slicing the meat and dishing out the the juice chowder. Just read a review about the prime rib from somebody that ate there that same night that said it was great. Don't believe that for a second.That was the worst piece of meat ever and I mean ever! Who paid that guy off to say that was great or even good??

The suite rooms are fantastic. The only complaint or maybe more of a question is why you make people feel they have done something wrong when cashing in tickets with the cashier. I had several tickets, went to the cashier and wonder why they have to alert security and write down my name and players card. Was made to feel like I had done something wrong.

Boy, this place was really crowded and so loud. We couldn't even talk to the guy next to us, that's her eye, because it was New Year's we expected it to have to be pretty crowded would have a great New York City party that they thrones with the DJ and the special room all free and compliments to the hotel. We didn't stay the night though. We're at a beach house. Are winnings were about equal. Came with a $100 left with a 60 .

We went for breakfast. Good luck. 11:05, the only place open was the Grille....next to the hotel.We walked over there and we're told that it was 10 to 15 minutes for a table. (Minimum 15 tables open)They finally tried to seat us, and we are told that it will be 20 to 30 minutes before we could place our order. It is now 11:27 and they only serve breakfast until 12.Walked out.Be honest with your wait time.

Horrible experience! We had a hotel reservation and concert tickets and an ice storm was predicted a week before. There was no communication from them about canceling the show and we went to not lose both our room charge and the concert tickets. Upon checking in they then tell us the concert was canceled. They gave no option to cancel the room free of charge. Then they end up closing the entire casino despite other surrounding businesses staying open. The shuttle would not drop people at their rooms, there were no food options after they closed not even vending machines. Myself and dozens of others fell in the parking lot. The rooms had little to no heat and when we called to see if they could help make things right, we were told there is nothing they could do. We ended up getting an email about the concert being canceled one hour after it was supposed to start. If they had communicated at all I could have canceled my room ahead of time and avoided the nightmare of this stay, but they didn't. I used to like this place but they do not seem to care about their customers. Any form of communication would have gone a long way for everyone that weekend.

I usually have no complaints about this hotel, we stay here often. 281D was not the typical. The smell of dog was horrible. I had no idea how to plug in the clock, the connector was like I was sposta have a computer to plug into. The TV although big, had horizontal strips through the whole screen. I took pictures to front desk she was on the defensive and handed me a piece of paper with a site to complain to, and to add pictures. Well this is the only place I could find and can't add pictures. When I complain it's to have any businesses to be aware of what is going on, not to blame any particular person. The room was clean and we knew going in it was going to be small, but it doesn't matter how clean the wet dog smell overpowered everythingSafety: Felt safe

They expect me to play here when they cant even get their player card to work in any of the machines. This casino is a run down joke of a casino. Staff aint smart enough to do simple tasks. Not hard to just make another card. We went to the Casino for dinner. We tried the Steak House but the wait was longer than we wanted. So we stopped at the buffet version of the Steak House, at first we were a little skeptical but the cashier told us what to expect and, wow was it good!! High-end items that were being replaced/refreshed often. Plates were cleared quickly, and our server was really sweet.

Well if your wanting to have fun don’t go the Roulette table…..And definitely don’t have the fun killer Patty be your dealer…. Y best not to smile laugh and get excited winning….. you get 5 security guards taking your drink the guy next to asking if you stabbed someone…. I have never been cut off or asked to leave an establishment before let alone without a reason…. All I got was I don’t know…. Pretty sad you can’t have fun anymore.Safety: Security guards were very aggressive and rude… I will also say wearing a mask does nothing but make you look like a bigger idiot than you already are being a mall cop… be nice it goes further in life!
