Have to say this is about the friendliest store that I've been at. Selection might be thin, but they are constantly stalking shelves to make advertised items available. And the cashiers are always willing to help you make sure you got what you wanted that the price you thought you were supposed to get.

We stopped by to stretch our legs and grab a snack with our four kids after 12 hours in the car. The employees were SO KIND and even offered to let us use their break room microwave if we needed. The small town hospitality was great!!

Always friendly service almost always has their sale items in stock. I've only once had to ask for a rain check. Not too badly price for a grocery store out in a rural community almost 100 miles from a bigger town...update: they still have some of the friendliest most helpful employees (not all of course) and they are still a great grocery store that's strives to offer the best for their small community! 👍🏻👍🏻

This location is an older location and doesn't have a lot of what the newer stores have such as larger meat selection. Also the prices are higher here because of location and they tend to be understaffed. If you shop the sales you can do pretty good.

Store is always over crowded and lines are always long. Some of the cashiers have a great attitude and other aren't so friendly. Manager isn't customer friendly and very snobbish. Prices are higher than other parts of the state, makes a local feel taken advantage of by a corporate company.

I would gladly give them 5 stars but it's the only Safeway I have ever experienced a packed store and they are shutting down checkout line's and also the fact that wr have an express line that clearly states no more than 15 items and they are checking out people with packed carts and this is a constant in this Safeway unfortunately. But it's really the only problems I have with it.

It's difficult for me to find what I want. Their aisles are too narrow for shopping carts to pass comfortably. Too many of their products are overpriced, of course, that's generic to Safeways.

Customer service has improved, only a couple of the staff are still rude but that's probably just how they are when they aren't working at Safeway?! Idk ! I do appreciate the people who have been helpful lately, thank u ! It makes it easier to shop here now, and being treated with respect goes a long way, so again, thank you all(u know who u are)😁👍🏼

The store needs new management and better employees bad. Seems like this store gets all the food the other chains don't sell and its on the verge of expiring75% of the time, its a good sales tactic but after 20+ years enough is enough. The excuse of being understaffed is outrageous, doesn't matter what time you go in there constantly in your way every single time and. Don't waste your money here

Honestly, not a bad place aside from "Scott from the valley," who seems hell-bent on profiling, harassing, and chasing away customers. Honestly, it's beyond me how a man like that is given any sort of leadership position or authority in any company. Highly recommend something be done about his blatant unprofessionalism. Like I said, aside from the one vindictive employee, a great place to shop.

This is the only grocery store in the entire county of Lake in south eastern Oregon. The people who work there are friendly and hard working. It's a small store, but it does a mighty job. Thank goodness it exists.

Well, other than the fact that it's one of the last classic Safeway's stores left? The workers are friendly, the atmosphere is a nostalgic reminder from my childhood before my classic Safeway was torn down and made to look more like a Wall Mart. Lakeview reminds me of what Lebanon used to be, a piece of Oregon small town culture that I miss more and more the older I get.

Great staff and a decent selectionsIt's not a full service Safeway as it has no deli and no pharmacy but it's the best selection in Lake County and the only place besides the bar open past 10pm, open 6am to 11pm seven days a week.

Always doing their best! Deals and Just4U like any other Albertsons/Safeway but don't expect a deli or pharmacy. This store is almost eligible for historic building status.

This one is in Lakeview. Great store to pick up odds and ends. A little pricey, but sometimes you just have to say, " What the heck, and go for it!" They do have Lipton Ice Tea, 2 for $5.00. my favorite tea, the big 59 oz size!🤗😋😍

I call it the Cinderella of Safeways... treated like a despised stepchild, only givin the bare minimums and cast offs. Seriously in need of an update and expansion. The community it serves is larger than any other in the state, yet there is 4 checkstands and zero space to accommodate the lines that debacle creates. The store is so small that there is no way, if need be, it could ever come close to supplying the needs of even half of the community. As it is the only grocery within miles in Lake County, it seems that the CEOs and owners of this franchise would realize the return their investment could make. In fact, it seems ignorant to me that they haven't....

All the staff in the managers have a very bad and rude attitude. A lot of rotten and moldy produce and other food. We have seen food in there from 3 years ago and that is completely disgusting. I would rather shop at Dollar General. And I do not work at Dollar General so I'm not boosting their stats or anything just giving an honest opinion.

It could be worse but it could be a whole lot better too. This Safeway is uncomfortably small inside, to the point two shopping carts can barely fit down the same aisle. Half the time what you want is completely out of stock, I’ve never seen someone buy the entire bread aisle for example but apparently it IS possible. I’m glad we have an actual grocery store but the fact remains the produce and meat are poor quality and the selection is limited. I’ve wasted more $ buying spoiled items at this store than I can recall any place else. Example: I went to use the ground beef I recently purchased last night.. it was good for two more days according to the sticker. As soon as it hit the pan it was evident something was wrong, a terrible vinegar smell = bacteria infested meat. Another example: the little containers of cherry tomatoes.. The very next day after purchase they were covered In mold on the bottom. Why should I pay for this? It’s completely unacceptable and way more commonplace that it ever should be with a grocery store. I’ve spoken to Safeway corporate and in a nutshell they simply don’t care.. they have a monopoly and they know it. I’m going to try Albertsons since they own Safeway and I would suggest you do the same if you have an issue. It seems with the proper management most if not all of these circumstances could be eliminated for the betterment of the community and Safeway’s sales figures. Thanks for reading.

Store has good deals but the aisles are small and it doesn't have a bakery or a deli. Usually packed with people and lines are long if you come during the wrong time of day.

Prices are out of sight. Toughest meat on the planet at super high prices. Most cashier's are very pleasant. Some are just downright rude.
