This place is remodeling their rooms. Very clean. They do charge a 20.00 pet fee. Which is high for one little dog.But will stay their again.Walkability: Their is a dollar and general dollar store right by the hotel. Can walk up to Subway and across Street, Safeway on the main street.

My first visit June of 2023: The clerk sent me to a dirty disheveled room and proceeded to quiz me on just how dirty it was before sending me to another room. August 2023: This same inept clerk sent me to an occupied room!? The occupant was angry and combative to the point I could have gotten shot in the dark. The clerk then inspected the room next door and I suppose it was also occupied because he then showed me yet another room that was only partly made up, featuring nasty pillows and a dirty bathroom that he wanted to tidy up while I sat around and waited on him, pass. One of the worse experiences ever. Witnessed invasion of privacy for a few people. Manager just walked into the room since he had no idea who was staying in their hotel. Shower didn't work unless you wanted to get scalded. And when you turned it to get colder it would leave you standing with soap and no water. Owner is very strange and creepy and has to walk you to every place in the hotel asking weird questions. I didn't trust him after he was high maybe meth (Lakeview special) or crack. He would not be able to talk in the afternoon. The dumpster photo is best description of what you will get if you stay here. I would stay in a vault toilet in the desert somewhere before I ever stay here again.

I'll start off with the good. The front desk was helpful and check in was easy. There was lots of parking and I didn't have any issues with other visitors. They allow pets with a low nightly fee per pet, which was very convenient since we were traveling with out lab.Unfortunately, the bad outweighed the good. First off, the moment you walk into the room you get met with this awful old, mildewing smell. This motel was filthy. Layers of dust on all the surfaces. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. There was build up all over the shower head, walls and floors. There were spider webs all over the ceilings. The plumbing was exposed and ran across the ceiling. The T.V. didn't work and would only turn on and nothing else. The box spring cover was dirty and looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned. There were holes and tears in the bedding. Bed was extremely uncomfortable. Door was very hard to lock from the inside and you had to lift up the door to get it to latch. Drawers looked like they hadn't been wiped down. There is trash all over the outside. Overall, it was very gross and it was not a pleasant stay.

I do not recommend. The people were very nice, so I feel bad leaving this review. Although they were newly rentavated, the room was gross. Long black hair all over the bathroom. The couch was so dirty, I didn't even set my things on it. Only half of the holes in shower head worked, and only had lukewarm water. The towels were stained. I was afraid to touch anything. Luckily, the bedding seemed clean....except some white substance on a throw pillow. Dirty walls, peeling paint and overall grime. The ice machine didn't work either. I took pictures because I knew no one would believe me. Thank god for antibacterial wipes!!! Good things..... mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, wide parking spaces.

My husband use to live in Lakeview and this use to be a good place to stay. Was totally not worth the money now. We were in town for one night. The room was gross I'm not one to really ever do a bad review, but I feel people should know. The couch in the room had hair and crusties all over it. The gap in the door to outside was so big it made me uncomfortable.. the bathroom was the worst there was hair all over the floor, mold all over the ceiling and walls. Hair in the tub, the sink was cracked and looked like it came out of a horror movie. Sad to see this place this way won't ever stay again and we plan on visiting Lakeview more. Stay away and save your money.

What a dump. It smelled so bad that people were sitting outside. Good way to meet new friends. The wall had dry rot. Red water came out of the faucets. We had to stay here because it was the only hotel with any rooms in town. Same with some other people there. I would never stay there if there was any other place to stay.

I don't ask a lot from a motel, especially in rural parts of the country. Hot showers are a minimum, these showers were not quit lukewarm.Rooms: Room was basic but comfortable.

If you are a women DO NOT GO HERE especially by yourself. upon arriving i was greeted by men standing around outside it seemed they lived there. as soon as i pulled into the hotel they were stalking me. the front desk was very rude and did not tell me if there was wifi nothing. they took my card and didn’t say a word. when i entered my room i was hit in the face with a pleasant clean smell so i thought great it’s clean. i walked into the bathroom only to find everything disgusting. hair everywhere. i went into the office to explain and get a refund and he was not very nice about it. he proceeded to get aggressive about the card machine and something i wasn’t doing right. not a good experience at all. Save your time and money

Wow! What a bargain. Rooms are cleaned to 2 star standards. Recently renovated with nice dark wood floors. The shower was clean, toilet water is discolored due to the manganese and iron in the city water supply, not the fault of this fine establishment. The bed was on the firm side but provided a restful night of sleep from a long day on the road and working in the extreme temps. The walls are solid brick, you will not hear your neighbors. The AC kept my room at my dracula preferred 60° all night long. I advise taking an extra towel and blocking the door entrance since there is a gap at the bottom for extra insulation. Definitely traveler approved!!!

The best thing I can say about my stay is that the clerk was very personable and the sheets were clean. The shower knob came off in my hand. It seems like there has been an attempt at renovations but they need to be be finished and the room needs a thorough cleaning. There were exposed pipes in the ceiling of my room. I stayed because of the price and I needed a bed for the night on my way through.

Was traveling through the great state of Oregon and had a wheel bearing go out while I was with my family! Not only did they let us stay in a room that hadn't been refurbished, but they let us stay with our dogs and even let us change the wheel bearing there. No smoke and mirrors here, (no joking, no smoking) at least available to us. If welcoming and friendly is what you are needing though these folks provide a clean enough place to lay down and rest a day or two!

The bed was clean, But OMG the bathroom was terrible! There was dirt and red hair in the sink and on the toilet, the shower was dirty too! I am grateful that they had rooms. My husband and I were too tired to keep driving. It was the only place to that would us in in the whole town. But it was over $200 for 2 rooms that were not cleaned probably! For that price it should have been!

This hotel is one of these worst places I have ever stayed in North America. There where dead flys all over the bathroom. Wires sticking out of the walls and no interior lights hooked up. When I picked up the floor mat off the bathroom floor the mat was black. They did not clean the room once in a week. No toilet paper in the bathroom, I can go on and on. It's a pathetic excuse for a place to live in Lakeview. The only good news is that there was a vacancy when I was in town. I now know why. Save your money and sleep on the street I stead.

The motel is obviously in the process of being updated; construction materials are everywhere. The desk clerk was very courteous and helpful and had a cot in the room for my daughter as we had requested. The room had been updated and was suitable for the night, but had not been cleaned very well. The table was very dirty and the bathroom had dead ants all over, as well as a dirty toilet that didn't flush. We informed the housekeeper and she stayed that the plumbing was always bad in that room. It was okay for us, but $100 was way overpriced for something that was basically a summer camp dormitory room.

Only two stars for effort.The web sight made it look better than it is. Didn't use tub, something was peeling off from the bottom of it. It looked moldy and dirty. The windows were moldy and dirty. New paint looked like anything and everything was painted over including mold coming thru new paint. Awful neighborhood in back where your supposed to walk your dog very scary at night and not lit up. Rude people. Pipes in selling all exposed.. Furniture was dirty, don't look under furniture!!! Had queen bedding on king bed with flat pillows. Never ever again!!

Only did 1 star because it's the lowest rating on here. DO NOT STAY HERE if you care about cleanliness even remotely. This place would require a LOT of upgrades to qualify as a flophouse. Skid row would be preferable, because the room was not disinfected, there were bugs crawling everywhere, the furniture was stained and filthy to the point we didn't even want to put our bags on it. Don't be fooled by the pictures on their website, as they are obviously from a LONG TIME AGO. I've never given a review before, and would never want to hurt any small business, but at the same time have no desire to see a fellow traveler fall into this nasty trap.You've been warned, do with this information what you will.

Zero stars. This place Instantly gave us a bad feeling. When we arrived it was under major renovation/construction work. The grounds were trashy looking. What appeared to be long term residents (all men) were sitting around outside their rooms staring us down as though we were intruding on them. Some even drew back their curtains to stare. It was one of the most uncomfortable scenarios ever. When we requested a cancellation of our reservation we were vehemently denied solely on policy. Our concerns four safety & well being wasn’t their concern. We never checked in or used the facilities. They had 4 other similar rooms still vacant, so no debt or cost was incurred by them. They didn’t care about out hardship of paying for another room that we would feel safer & more comfortable in. Hospitality wasn’t their goal, just pure greed. False advertising & lack of details to snag a customer was their goal. I wouldn’t sent my worst enemy to this dump.

The room was absolutely filthy. I don't know how they can justify keeping things in such a poor condition. If I could give negative stars I would. The carpet was stained dirty and had human and animal hair everywhere.The toilet was dirty. All the handles where sticky and everything that people touch (remote, keys, switches) had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. The sheets were rough and stained. The blanket was covered in stains and dirt. I regret paying for the room rather than sleeping in my car. The latter would have been preferable.

Dude at front desk was rude. Plumbing ran across the ceiling exposed. The shower head fell off and i almost flooded the bathroom. Dirty washrag was still hanging over the shower bar. After that i pretty much just sat in a chair in the middle of the room and waited for the sun to come up.

The toilet had to be flushed 3 times before everything would go down, the shower control was put in backwards and my husband was almost scalded, and the shower stall is very small. When my husband asked about the free cancellation policy that is advertised, in case he gets moved to another place, they told him they charge full price and there is no free cancellation policy. He is stationed in Lakeview on standby with a water truck on the nearby fire. He would not recommend this motel.
