This place wasn't terrible for the price. You get what you pay for. We got a clean bed and bedding and were able to have a hot shower before we got back on the road in the morning. The lock was not working properly and the office lady seemed to think it was the battery but the keycard worked and would light up the keypad. However, when you lock the door you just have to open the handle and you can get in. Even when locking the deadboldPlease check your doors for safety if you stay here. It didn't seem to be malice but worth mentioning for safety.

I really want to let anyone know if you’re ever looking for affordable accommodations this is your place. The staff is amazing, the rooms are very cozy, the king bed was so comfortable and the cleanliness was incredible. If I was to change anything it would be the toilet paper… lol alittle rough. I will drive her again just to stay at this motel. We drove all the way from Illinois to get back here and we stayed in a lot of motels…. Well let’s just say if only it was this one . Thank you for an amazing stay and excellent sleep.

Thank God for this place. Icy and snowy 140 coming down from Nevada. I was pooped and couldn't make it to Medford because of the roads.The rooms were clean and whomever runs the place, just really friendly folks, you can tell they care. And tve rooms were clean and warm.The bad... which is not their fault is the water. Yeah Don't drink the water or... take a bath. It's brown. And I guess this is a town wide controversial thing. Would have been nice to have complimentary bottles of water in the room or a vending machine with water to buy.I would stay here again if I needed to. Or was in the area for something.

Unfortunately, much of the information about this motel is outdated. They claim to offer complimentary breakfast online and in person with a big sign, however, after speaking to the front desk, they claim it’s “too expensive” to serve breakfast, so they don’t anymore. My family had specifically booked this motel with the promise of a breakfast included. On the same note, their one vending machine in the whole motel was out of order.Another issue I encountered was the cleanliness. The bedsheets did appear to be clean (even though there were several stain marks), however, the stairway to get to the second floor rooms was very dirty, and therefore you know the carpets on the inside of the rooms are dirty because you track it inside with you. Also, I’m unsure how much of this is to blame on the establishment, but the water in the toilet and the water that comes out of the sink is definitely tinged brown.The walls are quite thin, or at least, you can tell when someone is leaving because if they close their door with any kind of force, it can wake you up in the room over, which did happen to us.Again, you can’t really blame this particular establishment for this last pint, but the whole town of Lake View was out of wifi, so another promised amenity of this motel had fallen through. There appeared to be lack a of understanding and reasoning when speaking to the front desk about these issues. The motel needs to take some responsibility when it comes to updating their amenities.All in all, if you absolutely need a place to sleep, they do have beds and TVs. But there are other motel options in this town!

During my stopover en route to Burning Man, I chose to stay at this motel. Despite some initial skepticism stemming from online reviews, I was pleasantly surprised by the overall positive experience I had with my friends while sticking to a budget. The breakfast offered was satisfactory, and the surroundings were tranquil and peaceful. The motel's staff went the extra mile in extending a warm welcome and ensuring our comfort and safety throughout our stay.

Was overwhelmed by driving all day after no sleep the night before. This place was so kind in the office, which the lady that checked me in was a manager. She took the time to even walk me to my room and make sure I was happy with the room. They have done a bunch of work updating the place, I have to say the room was beautiful and clean. I would stay here again

CHECK-IN: Credit card machines were down when we arrived so we paid in cash. They still took the credit card info "in case of damages" but promised not to run the card unless something happened.ROOM: We were given a room on the first floor (of two) which was at the corner of the hotel and a couple of young men were hanging around the corner and lounging on the stoop right in front of our door from about 4 pm (when we checked in) until after 8 pm. Just hanging...on their phones. I didn't like it. It made me feel unsafe.The secondary lock on the door was broken in two.The room was very small with extremely little "counter space". We had to pile things on our bed, there was just no space.Few electrical outlets.Wifi was poor; it just kept dropping and was not useable.IN-ROOM EXTRAS: microwave/in-room coffee/mini fridge.POOL: NoTUB: Fine. Water was kinda yellow.BED: 3 pillows per bed; a nice quiet dark and comfy sleep.BREAKFAST: NO.PRICE: on a Monday in Sept 2022 (including taxes) for 2 adults, 2 beds: $100

Walked in on employee going through my personal items alone in my room. They said they were looking for something and then left. They came back moments later and barged into my room while I was laying on the bed to ask me a question I can no longer recall. I asked them to leave and they did but I don’t understand why they kept coming into my room. No privacy. I feel like he might have stollen something but I didn’t have any valuables with me. Dirty place with lots of shady activity outside. Impossible to sleep with any piece of mind knowing if an employee wants in your room they will let themselves in whether you are there or not.

Very Very clean! We were amazed at the service. Extra pillows and blankets were available without even asking. The scenery around the hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the hotel itself was kept very nicely. The lady who checked us in was fast and friendly. She gave us the key before we even finished paying because she knew we were tired from a long drive. Lakeview has the most friendly people I had ever met. We stayed here on a turnaround trip from Southern California to Oregon and we hope to have the pleasure to stay again on the future. I couldn't believe that we only got charged $100 for 3 beds and we had 4 people! This place is worth twice that amount!

Hotel staff was very friendly. Room was slightly upgraded with lamnant floor. Bathroom was good sized but old fixtures but adequate for our needs.Unfortunately we were not to happy with the hair we found in our sheets. The staff provided us with a new set. The bathroom towels were very old and stained yuck. We also found the hotel grounds and surrounding area was not too pet friendly. There was no grass anywhere. The surrounding areas were covered in goat head thorns which my pups got stuck in her paws.

They were doing what I have to assume renovations on the hotel at the time of our stay. There were loud banging, and talking so the walls were definitely thin.. Pet friendly, cheap enough. The employee knocked on our door at 7am to announce coffee was available in the lobby. My husband was still in the room gathering our things and the same employee unlocked the door and came in the room to announce the same thing... Coffee was ready. I'm only relived that he or I were not changing or something at that point. Be careful. If you can choose a better place, do it. There was also a used styrofoam coffee cup placed with what I have to assume was a clean cup as it did not have coffee stained inside. The bed sheets smelled of bleach which gave me little comfort in knowing they might be clean.

At first I was skeptic from the weathered outside and outdated inside but don't judge a book by its cover and things are not always as they seem and this is a prime example. We pulled in at 2 in the morning Christmas eve where we woke the in keeper and was greeted by a sweet lady giving us nothing but good old fashioned hospitality. The room was extremely clean for its age and everything was in working order. Down to the point where they even supply a clean up rag if you make a little mess so you don't waste a clean towel talk about looking out for the environment! It really shows the effort they put in all the little details. They even left us a gift probably knowing initially didn't want to stop here arguing with my co pilot but I'm glad I did. The rates are more than fair. And if you need a nice little in this is definitely the place you should stay. I know I will. Thank you for the nice room and hospitality!

Would not recommend. Beds like sleeping on plywood. Floors not cleaned. Nightstand had dirty cups in them. Pillows flat, sheets not clean. 1 very thin blanket. 22° outside snow on ground and NO heater. Luckily we had blankets in out vehicle.They are remodeling or making repairs and working on room above ALL night long.Will never stay there again!

Carpet leading up the stairs had long threads hanging loose, the room was very small and not very nice for the price paid ($93/night with AAA discount), the water tasted chemical and was of a light yellow/cloudy appearance. The room smelled of a chemical cleaner combined with stale cigarette smell. When we called to ask if any rooms were available, we were told no. When we drove down there and arrived 5 minutes after inquiring about availability and the vacancy sign was lit up so we went in and asked and they had rooms 🙄 overall, not good quality for the amount paid.

No complaints at all. Very friendly staff, small town, but very comfy and clean motel. The bed was very nice, I have back problems, so finding a good mattress that doesn't exacerbate my problem is a plus.Slightly dated carpeting in the stairwell to 2nd floor, need to check the top of ice and pop machines, when walking down the stairs, one can see the dust on top, seriously not a big thing to me...I just happened to notice it.Couple things... Might update the shower heads to be more adjustable for flow rate, instead of spewing it out at such a high rate that water gets everywhere. Also, move the toilet paper holder to the side of the sink cabinet instead of behind and to the left of the toilet, (at least in my room, single queen) since you end up pulling out way more than necessary when reaching back to access it, and then it ends up all over the floor.

The property is an older one but everything seemed to work alright. The shower was kind of weird as the faucet turns both ways hot one way cold the other. The staff was super friendly. My only complaints are 1. They need new pillows (the ones in our room were FLAT) 2. When you have two sets of towels you place two guest soaps and shampoos (not one but two). Other than that had a great stay!
