Very nice, well-appointed room. Clean but tiny bathroom. There was no soap in the shower. The staff are very helpful and kind. They even offered to drive the kids and I to our AirBnB because it was raining. We chose the walk, but they gave us even better directions than the BnB app. The breakfast had an excellent selection typical to a Best Western with both waffle and pancake machine. Very quiet location even though at the intersection of two highways.Walkability: The local supermarket, Safeway, is a 5 minute walk. Several small town food services are within a 15-minute radius.

We came to Lakeview to visit a friend for dinner. This property was very clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and had nice pillows. The continental breakfast was alright. There were the usual bagels and cream cheese, coffee, juice, cereal, and milk, plus biscuits and gravy, potatoes, and scrambled eggs.I made the reservation online and had no problems checking in at 5 pm. I also opted for the fast checkout and was able to leave the keys in the room when we left. Overall, it was a good experience and we would stay here again.Walkability: The property is only a couple of blocks from the grocery store, the liquor store, the gas station and a couple of bars, and two restaurants. It's in a well developed area.

Great service, and the rooms were the best I've had at any Best Western. The breakfast was standard, but once again, the staff was helpful in making it enjoyable.Rooms: Comfortable mattresses and comfortable temperature.

The hotel is great. Definitely the nicest place in Lakeview. Room was dressed and fresh. Friendly staff and very great parking. The only two reasons I’ve lowered the review, are the price, it was slightly over priced for what it is. I do get that because they are the best for a 100 mile radius but I paid over $200 after tax when the other local hotels such as the executive were priced in the 70s. I can over look that slightly. The other main reason was the WIFI. THE WORST WIFI I HAVE EVER HAD AT A HOTEL. After running multiple speed test I averaged 4.5mbps with a peak of 8mbps and a low of 0.5mbps. I was unable to upload certain things for work and then I attempted to play games on my PS5. That wasn’t even an option. Then not even being able to send Facebook messages or watch a YouTube video. (For reference my cell service was poor in this area.) Again the hotel was FANTASTIC but if you need good, reliable, fast wifi, I would recommend being prepared for the poor wifi here.

Hotel does not have a gym. Why have you posted a picture of a gym with weights and treadmill etc if you don't even have that here? There also isn't a large meeting room as pictured multiple times. However, rooms seem nicely updated and comfortable

Water was tea colored. Front desk acted like I was stupid for not knowing "that's just the water here." No towels at pool and when we asked for some they said they'd bring some down but after waiting another 20 minutes we just went to the room with. Fridge was off so we had to wait for it to cool down and the toilet chain was disconnected so it didn't flush initially. Breakfast was decent though

The room was fine but nobody was around to help us at the front desk and after paying $175 i would've preferred not to have to stand around for an hour before my kid had to go find a maid who it ended up taking 15 more minutes for her to track down the person who was supposed to be at the front desk. I had rented to room due to being very sick with a fever from an infection and sick off antibiotics with a terrible migraine and the room was supposed to help me relax it was awful to pay that much and be that sick and be left waiting like that I'll never go back. We rented a room elsewhere another night and out on a walk we saw an elderly man attending to get help and no body was around and my kid ran up to him and told him the same thing happened to us and he might consider going elsewhere. Seems to he a common issue.

Stayed one night here on our way to Las Vegas. Not many options in Lakeview. It's a motel in a small town and so you can't really expect much. Rooms were clean and beds were decent. I always check for bed bugs in hotels and there was no evidence of any in our room.Took off 1 star because the exterior photos on Google are extremely misleading. If you want to see what the exterior really looks like, you need to look at street view on google maps.

Room was clean, relatively updated, and beds were comfortable (on the firm side). Breakfast area was clean, updated, and had good food; waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuit and gravy, and continental items. Pool was clean and not too cold. Only thing a little off was the town water was a little distasteful and colored; bring a gallon of your own or get some at the Safeway just a block away. Laundry on site was helpful. Service was pleasant and cheerful.

Clean, comfortable room's with wonderful memory foam mattresses. Friendly staff and good breakfast. Also very accommodating for our dog. Only negative things were the THIN walls with noisy neighbors, and no comforter on the bed. There was an extra blanket though. Would stay again, for sure.

Small hotel, but great for a night stay while traveling. The staff was friendly and really helpful. There was a small pool which was pretty cold, but my kids were happy with it after a day of driving. There was a complimentary bag of Doritos and bottled water in the room, and granola bars and cookies in the lobby, that my kids were also thrilled about. The breakfast was what you would expect (few hot items, cereal, pastries, etc). Overall, happy with our stay.

Other than not being able to get the TV to bring up any channels to watch.... everything else about this place was fantastic. Everything was clean, plenty of hot water, the bed was super comfy, right now they are doing grab n go breakfasts, but scrambled eggs and hashbrowns, was the first hot breakfast I've had the entire trip. I would highly recommend staying here.

I travel weekly and sometimes get to very "off the beat in path" locations. I was in Lakeview, Oregon and the lodging selection is slim to say the least. My expectations were not set on finding a Ritz-Carlton situation and I was resigned to take what I could get.I was more than pleasantly surprised to find my room at the BW Skyline was clean and modern and had every amenity that I find when staying in one of the larger chain hotels and at a fraction of the price. The cleaning staff was attentive to my needs and very professional in respecting one's privacy. Check in and check out was a breeze as well.If you are ever in need of lodgings and happen to be in beautiful Lakeview, OR, do yourself a favor and get a room at the Best Western Skyline Motor Lodge.-Pro TipWhile in Lakeview, have lunch at Taqueria La Michoacanita, the food was authentic and incredible tasting, please note they are cash only.

Wonderful stay! Rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Comfy beds with lavender lightly scented sheets. Awesome breakfast much better than average. And they even let us check out late at no charge so we could watch the end of NCAA game my alma mater was playing in! Thank you Best Western!

Decent price, decent rooms, and a good location. When we were there first they were working on the concrete in front of the office and the hot tub (probably the main reason we booked here but we didn't think to ask if it was working) was out of service. Came back 12 days later and the hot tub was still broken and they were still working on the concrete. Hopefully all that's resolved by now and if so I'm sure this would be a fine place to stay. The only other complaint we had was the room we stayed in the second time had about an inch and a half gap under the door. When a log truck started in the morning and idled for 45 minutes or so, it was very loud.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. The front desk person who helped us get the last room was really nice and kind. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the water coming out of the faucet for a bath had an odd greenish/yellowish tint to it that the shower water didn't have.

Hospitality was amazing! We are traveling on motorcycles and had one of the bikes go down needed to get brother to hospital they gave us a car and took care of us! The rooms were Excellent super clean. Beds so comfy. Big screen Tv. I was just blown away how much they cared and that they would go out of there way for us! Best place to stay in town !

Typical BW (which I love) with exceptionally comfortable beds and usually nicely appointed rooms. I've stayed here a few times when in town on business. The property has recently been updated some...now for the good, the not so good and the bad. The good: the staff there. They will go out of their way to help, the beds - always so comfortable! The location - right off the main road but off just enough it is quiet. Very close restaurants , stores, etc. The Not So Good : No elevator, it's only 2 stories but even if you reserve months in advance requesting a ground level room you may not get it. I have bad knees and while I can legit reserve a "handicapped room" I try hard not to in case someone in a wheelchair needs a room. But it's the only way to insure you won't be needing to haul suitcases etc up and down some outside stairs. Smoking - It's a non-smoking facility however people will still light up just outside their rooms. The room refer was turned off and I didn't realize it until I had a room temperature drink the next morning. The bad: The breakfast - very standard scrambled bag-o-eggs with bacon or sausage, etc is available. The juice machine dispensed pure concentrate and the room was so hot with no ventilation it was exceedingly uncomfortable.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room, easy check in and out, very convenient location in the center of town. Bad breakfast experience. Cold, thick, refrigerated waffle batter would not dispense from the machine, oatmeal was a dry, tasteless paste with no brown or white sugar available, overly strong orange juice required considerable added water to correct. Overall it was a case of no one trying the goods before offering them to the public. Room price on the high side.

Okay I stayed here for on a site visit for work. the room was paid for. if not I would have moved facilities. The customer service here was horrid. Some of the worst Customer service i have had in a long time. The room was drafty and cold. shower and water was bad stunk like sulfur. The "hot: breakfast was not suitable for human consumption. The bed was great. the Wi-fi was poor. I would not stay here again.

My friend and I had a two room suite as we were attending a girlfriends wedding in Lakeview, Oregon. The room was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Due to Covid we had coffee in the lobby with a grab and go breakfast. I would recommend this hotel as it is quiet, has very comfortable beds and luxurious towels.

We were in town for the Fox Complex Fire 2021 and didn’t have laundry service. Laundry mat in town was a disaster. We were able to wash clothes but all dryers were damaged. Called every other place in town and no one was willing to let us dry our clothes. Sheri allowed us to use their dryers. Amazing service. We didn’t stay the night, but the service Sheri provided us was above and beyond.Thank you from Washington Task Force #2 Brush 1

I suppose I would say this was about what I would expect from Lakeview. The staff was friendly, and welcoming. At check-out, she really wanted me to say it was amazing or great or something. While I couldn't quite do that, it was pretty good and I appreciated her enthusiasm, but it was right after I found a clump of hair on my towel. The bed also wasn't comfortable, but everything else was basically fine. This is a perfectly good option in Lakeview.Comparison to others in chain: AverageInternet: 26/2, but maybe not consistently usableBreakfast: Still grab and goRoom: Small, but who caresCleanliness: Pretty good, except for clump of hair on the towelBed: Foam? Really great hotel. Clean, great location, comfy bed. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is tasty. Lakeview's water is high in magnesium and iron, which means it's brownish and a little smelly. It's fine for washing and brushing teeth, but I drank bottled water.

The room itself was fine. The bathroom, however, left a lot to be desired. I went to draw a bath and discovered the tub filled with yellow water! I refused to take a bath/shower in that! When I went to grouse/mention it in the morning, they passed it off as "Oh, that's just the town's water. It's alright." Sorry, not acceptable, and a warning somewhere might have been helpful.

Just checked into this hotel and they have closed off the entire parking lot. There is nowhere to park for blocks. You have to cross a highway with all your luggage and make several trips. We paid full price for our room and were not notified that the parking lot would not be available for parking. The owners should have closed while work was being done instead of creating a safety hazard for their customers. On a side note, the woman at the front desk was helpful in trying to help me with the request of not being booked into a pet room.
