They’ve got you birdhouses, bee houses, bird seed, stickers, and lawn ornaments. A lot of stuff packed into one place. Very aesthetically pleasing! Fun to just browse, even.

I love this shop. My parents were avid birders and that has made me an avid feeder of birds. And of course, this shop has almost any (quality) feed and feeder one could want. However, what I spend most of my money on here is gifts - especially for friends and family who are hard to gift. There is home and yard decor here in all price ranges and for most tastes. Think, wind chimes, flags, pots, plant sticks, butterfly magnates, thermometers, statuary, tea towels etc etc.Check it out! (I think I will be doing most of my Christmas shopping here this year!)

I love this place. It has tons of great things gs for the garden and the garden critters. I visit here to get all my squirrel supplies. They have wonderful huge bags of premixed seeds and nuts for all types of different birds and critters! Hey have really lovely chimes and fountains and various wonders for your yard. Definitely worth a drop by.

First time coming to a Backyard Bird store. My husband, myself, and our 5 year old came in looking for some food and feeders for the squirrels and birds in our backyard. Being newer to the area we were really excited to check out this store as it came highly recommended by one of my husband’s co-workers. However we spent a good 30 minutes in the store and the 3 employees didn’t even acknowledge us. Not even a hello. They definitely have a great selection for someone interested in feeding and enjoying wildlife in your backyard, but we ended up taking our business to Wilco. Employees couldn’t be bothered and it kind of soured our whole experience. Don’t think we will come back.

I love the store and product. I felt very bad for the employees during covid though. They worked so hard but got so little thanks from other customers. I hope that the curbside options provide an online ordering option in the future for ease of planning. The local artists in the store are wonderful. Great work and great people.

This is my exclusive source for high-quality birdseed and suet blocks for my feeders. Their prices are reasonable, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about exactly what you need to do to attract the local birds. They also send out monthly coupons if you're a member, and I find myself frequently using those to keep my feeders stocked.

What a great place. The staff are wonderful and very helpful answering questions and helping you find just what you are looking for. The store is well organized and has a wide variety of things from items specifically for your bird but also thing for your backyard. I found the perfect gift here today and am so pleased. Thank you Backyard Bird Shop. You're the best

We found the perfect gift for the person who has everything. It was kind of last minute, and the gal who helped us actually took the time to put tissue paper carefully on our item and made it look nicely wrapped to give to the recipient. That extra time she took really made a difference that day and it is much appreciated. We will be back!

Costs more but you get fresh premium seeds in the quantity you need. I can tell a big difference from the supermarket seed that's been on the shelf for who knows how long because the birds are just crazy about their recommended fine cracked sunflower seed. Chickadees, finches, varied thrushes, song sparrows, woodpeckers all day long on my balcony. And juncos built a nest and layed eggs in a hanging fuchsia basket! You also get good advice for tricky situations.I also buy nature themed gifts there for children and adults.

Best place to go for feed and accessories to keep your feathered backyard friends happy and keep them coming back for more. The people here are very knowledgeable and friendly and I find something new every time I visit! My backyard menagerie also includes squirrels and Backyard Bird Shop has everything I need for them, too. And if bees or bats are your interests - you'll find what you need for them, too!

I stopped in at 5:00 pm tonight 10/26. There were 4 staff behind the counter and I was the only customer in the store; I was neither greeted or acknowledged. I spent a few minutes looking around the display for what I wanted, which is right next to the counter. I then stood next to the counter for a few minutes, when someone finally said "can I help you?" That person was extremely rude and dismissive of me, seeming to want to return the the counter as quickly as possible. I am very disappointed, especially because, in the past, the staff has always been very nice and extremely helpful. However, I will not be back. So sad..

Friendly service, wide variety of bird feed for your avian friends. Our birds love the "Pacific No Waste" mix. I have tried all kinds of other mixes (primarily when I run out of PNW), and most of the time I have to give the "brand x" to the squirrels. Unfortunately, the squirrels also prefer PNW, so protecting the feeders becomes a priority to ensure just the birds eat "the good stuff." Many kinds of bird feeders are here, from standard models to "squirrel busters." Don't miss the beautiful hand-blown glass hummingbird feeder each unique and very beautiful. Great place for gift ideas for all your wild bird friends (and the people that love them).

Great supply of bird houses, feeders and bat boxes. Friendly staff. Good selection of seeds though pricing is based more on convenience. Additional selection of nick-nacks and cards is also nice for gifts and sweet surprises. If you're a handy person, come check out the bird house designs and get inspired, if you don't have the for that, buy yourself something nice and support a local crafter. Also if you need Mason bees or supplies, these folks have it!!

I rarely write a poor review about a business because being in business I know how hard it is. I feed my Jays and squirrels at my Victorian and my guests love it. I buy organically grown peanuts in the shell from the local market at $3.85 for a 3 pound bag. I rather buy in bulk, but even at their least expensive, Back yard Bird shop wants over $2 a pound. Almost $4 if I buy less than 3 pounds. I really want to support local business but your customers are not idiots, most of them at least. How can I support your local business if your going to flat out gouge your customers? Pretty shop though.

Go to place for picking up birdseed and suet. Slightly higher prices, but knowledgeable staff helps offset that hit. Loads of bird gift ideas for the backyard birder in your life.

Great staff, great merchandise, however it's dramatically overpriced which is to be expected of such a small store in Lake Oswego. Went to Walmart and bought the same stuff for a tenth of the price.
