Staff is great. Prices are extreme.Auditing does not seem to be important for this company. 9/10 the P O S transactions end in error. Disappointing most of the time. Started doing my shopping in Bend again. Sad when you see their own employees doing their shopping in Bend as well.

This store is an absolute rip off. If your "smart" it means you won't shop their again. Bought a medium size tomato and it cost $2.59 and it wasn't even organic. It forced me to start checking the prices and they were ridiculous compared to Bend Fred Meyer, Wisconsin and even Safeway. Save your money and make the trip into Bend. Never support businesses that price gouge.

I couldn't make it into Bend due to weather and roads, I am so glad Shop Smart had everything I needed even though I know trucks and deliveries have been held up. Knowledgeable produce staff and my cashier, Chase, packed my groceries like a MOTHER, lol!

If Savannah is working the deli it's a great stop for lunch but if she's not it's pretty slow in the deli side, Her beautiful smile and Huge lunch sandwiches make a great lunch break run. Rest of the store seems nice with good selection.

Carefull when you buy Deli ( chicken strip, fried chicken) better check before you go.2 times she give me the old and hard chicken strip. No matter I told her please don’t give me the old one . She did it , hard like rock. I see her keep picking the chicken …so gross keep touching the chicken.

Store is a mess employee wise and I have been telling them about expired yogurt all month. They still have it on shelves it’s 5/20/23 and they all say 5/9/23 and 4/30/23. I told rose she said she would get ontop of that. That was 2 weeks ago. And I have gotten tons of things expired here. And when I worked in the deli it was a common complaint among costumers.

I like the employees here. Everyone has always been nice and helpful but the prices are ridiculous. Things are upcharged at least a dollar compared to other stores. 1 hard cider at the gas station is 3.99 vs the 4.99 plus deposit here. Just keep in mind you can get cheaper stuff elsewhere.

Decent price for la pine and most employees are nice. But can someone please let the cashier at the front who rants about politics know that its inappropriate? Like I'm there to buy groceries and I have to hear the same bs policies everytime. Also she refuses to take my membership number so idk if ill keep going there.

The head manager of this place was incredibly rude to my 67 year old mother because she is slightly hard of hearing. When I called to talk to them about it on my mother's behalf, there was no accountability. They didn't care because it was the main manager that treated her so disrespectfully. Produce is terrible and usually flavorless. It's hard to find herbs that haven't already gone bad in their packaging. Deli food is often cold and disgusting, and I have found meats with a greenish hue in their pre-packaged meat area more than once.

I really like this place. They have my favorite brands of food and a good selection of products. Well stocked shelves. I'll shop here on a regular basis now that I have discovered it. I like it better than any other grocery stores around and the prices are reasonable. So glad I stopped to check it out.

This grocery store over the last 30 years has undergone lots of change, including a name change or two. When I was a kid the deli at this store. And one other in town gave kids a card that would give them 1 free cookie a day. I think the card said cookie eaters club. I'm 41 now and still remember my brother and I trying to run to this place. Then the other for those cookies after school. I think their name back then was Alpine foods. Anyhow the staff here are always friendly and helpful. If they don't have an item. Just ask. if it's possible they'll bring it in for you. They made a lasting impression on me and my brother as kids with good memories. Including getting in trouble for not going home right after school. Because we wanted those cookies 😁

New floor is cushioned and looks fantastic. I like the new displays for the "turn right" directional entryway. The best part of the store is the fresh produce. The new display cases for dairy, lunchmeat & cheese is so accessible and nice. The meat department has a wonderful variety and good prices.

Shop Smart that's for sure but they don't have anything like the big big store might want to have and you can pass some of the stuff that I was looking for I thought was commonplace in the supermarket but I guess not so I learned a lesson and I probably will not try to go there but if I have to I will the people are wonderful as always customer service is excellent and exquisite prices were a little bit high sections were empties of some sections were over full I don't know it's the covid time so deal with it thank you

I only give it 4 stars because of the prices. Their produce is so expensive. And alot of other items. It does have cigarette and lottery center. And little machines for kids to play after they have been good in the store. 😁 love the deli and the employees are such great people. Oh yea even a movie rental place. So I would give 5 stars but it's a price thing. And idea if they had sales like produce week. Or meat week or cheese week. Because those are the 3 main reasons I go to bend instead. But still a nice stop for great conversations with the locals.

I felt like they were out of everything. No soups, no crackers, no fresh chilies, and prices are pretty high!Also, the cashier has a lace mask that you can visibly see her mouth through.
