I had my first taste of Howard's smoked turkey breast years ago. I have been a fan ever since. I do not live in Klamath Falls OR, but when I visit, I love to pick something up. Don't go on a Saturday, the pace is too chaotic. Go on a weekday when you can take your time and absorb the vast array of offerings, and push yourself to try something totally new. Tonight, we had the smoked pork chops; yummy.BTW: They are wonderful about slicing. Today we went to Crater Lake, and had them prepare our sandwich fixings. Smoked meat and smoked cheese sandwiches at 7000' elevation are so awesome.

Don't let google fool you, this is a retail front that is open to the public! We were passing through town looking for local cured meats for sandwiches and this place was the spot we were looking for!! They have a HUGE selection of all kinds of cured meats and any other meats you can think of, mainly sourced from the Northwest. They said their marinated tri tip steak was one of the best sellers but we had to pass since we have no way to cook it in the car. I highly recommend this place!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Howard's Meat Center. Their staff is professional but still makes you feel like family. I placed a big order for a fundraiser and was so impressed by their prices and quality that I have now gone back a couple more times for personal stuff. Howards Meat is now my go to for all my meat needs.

I kept getting hounded as soon as I walked in, after multiple times saying "I'll let you know" i kept getting bombarded amd pestered with questions, service is terrible, can't say anything about it the meat because I didn't make it that far

I recommend the wagyu beef and the Kobe steaks off the hook. Oh well all of the meats are great but those are my favorites and the marinated tri-tip enjoy Klamath Falls because it is worth it

One of the best butcher shops on the west coast. If you are ever in klamath falls stop in and talk with the owner Jordan.. He is very helpful and great to talk to. They have been in business since the early 1960's and you gotta be doing something right to be in business that long..Stop by it will be totally worth it 😁✌️

You know when you travel around and find a gem of a place and say to yourself, I wish I had one of these around my house. Well, Howard's Meat Center is one of these places. They have a variety of meats in their cases, from standard cuts to marinate meats and homemade sausages too. I find their prices reasonable for the quality they provide and if you compare them to some of the general grocery stores, you may find them somewhat competitive to the others. The staff there is extremely helpful and friendly too. The building is not fancy and in fact it shows it's age, but this might be a good reason for the reasonable prices. Wow, what a find...

They are popular and always have a line. You gotta pull a number just like the dmv. They aren't cheap but not over the top either..But they are worth it. They have dog bones and treats for dogs.. The staff is friendly and efficient.

Best butcher in southern Oregon! Friendly service, and freshest protein. Need a special order, no problem. Definitely be prepared for a line, it moves pretty quickly, but when you're the best everyone wants to shop there.

This is my favorite store. When you walk in, you can immediately smell the freshness of the meat. Its a smell like no other. Simply divine. Then there's the customer service. These people are absolutely great. They are quick and treat you like you're family. All around an amazing place to go get some tasty meats and other treats.

One of the Best butcher shops I have been to! The local feel and the awesome smell when you walk in is amazing. Clean and happy place. We drove from Redmond just to buy jerky! We will be back with a cooler and fill it up with a sampling of what they offer.

I've always appreciated the quality of the product I have bought here, but I never thought to leave a review until tonight. I watched a customer come in who was obviously struggling with addiction while I was being helped by Jordan behind the counter. Jordan politely paused our interaction, and then, in a way that maintained the man's dignity, helped him get what he needed and then returned to get me checked out. He was nice and respectful the entire time, and even after the man had left he didn't roll his eyes or say something unkind like many people do after situations like that. Anyway, this is a quality business and I highly recommend it.

Great meats. Some a little pricey. Their pork breakfast sausage is the best and cheaper than the grocery store. If you're Latin, their chorizo is not traditional chorizo. Everyone is very nice and helpful.

Bought 3 packages from here, one beef, one chicken and one pork. Beef is mostly chuck or round steak that has to be cooked in crackpot in order to eat. I just opened what is said to be pork ribs. 3 pieces cut from the top of a rack of ribs. Just bone and fat. Most places would throw out. Only thing good was hamburger meat. Don't WASTE your money on any package.

My family and I absolutely love this place! The service is fantastic and the food is also fantastic. So many choices! LOL recently moved to the area and discovered this place through the recommendations of several towns people. We are very glad that we have chosen Howard's as our only meat market. Went to Howard's last April when I was staying in Klamath Falls.GametesI took a whole ice chest full of meats back to California.The selection was so wonderful and the service was great.Even got a recipe from the gentleman there.It is April again and I'm on my way back to stock up and don't forget the sauce. These guys are always moving. It's also nice that they are open a little later in the evening so I don't have to take off work early to shop there. Their pepperoni sticks are my favorite!*Edit* the product is still good, but they are now closing so early, that I can't get there in time after work :(

The meats are the juiciest, most tender, reliably fresh meats you can get. Never have I ever even had a question about their meats. Add to that the Tri-Tip which is marinated in Pop’s sauce and you have perfect meat for smoking or grilling. Finally, the staff are complete experts and professionals. They are very friendly, have great tips, and will even help the elderly getting their purchases to the car.Also, they will make Jerky for you, butcher your livestock or hunt, and sell meats bulk. It’s my first stop in menu planning for any event I am entertaining for.

We've been buying from Howard's for a long time. Some of our favorites are, Smoked Pork Chops, Korean Boneless Ribs, New York, Ribeye, Bacon Bacon Bacon, Chicken, Beef tongue, Spicy Teriyaki Sauce 😋 oh man....ALL OF IT!Get some!!!

I live in Portland Oregon and whenever I get down there I always buy lots of marinated tri-tips I will buy five to seven of them because a lot of people I work with like them too. They have the best homemade marinade I've ever tasted. Service is always been very prompt and friendly. And they have a lot of product knowledge.

This is a great place. They have a great selection and variety of things from kinds and cuts of meats to sauces and other condiments to go with them. They have some of the best pre-made dinner items in town, really love the several different kinds of stuffed chicken breasts they have.

Howard's has such a great selection! And the prices meet or beat the local grocery stores. Highly recommend you try the marinated tri-tip and if you like the marinade, you can now buy it in the jar! It can sometimes be busy but the people there are quick and knowledgeable. Hope you enjoy.
