Sadie was taken in for grooming on April 29, 2024. The groomer was asked to do a traditional golden retriever haircut, and they said they didn't know what that was.The groomer was then asked to trim up her ears, and her grinch feet. Brush out and trim her tail and feathers. A short trim on her belly and chest, and any long length off her back.My golden retriever went from a golden retriever with a shaggy winter coat to a short-haired lab.In my opinion, the groomer(s) need to be more knowledgeable about a golden retriever cut, and if they don't know, follow through with what they're asked to do.There is a huge difference between trimming my dog and shaving my dog. You never, ever shave a golden retriever, unless specifically asked to do so!

The owner gave me a tour the first time I used them. They are high quality and I use them frequently to board and occasionally to groom my German Shepherd. She loves them and they are very loving to the pets. The grooming is excellent and they are reasonably priced. Recommend making reservations if you use them. They are full much of the time.

Double C takes wonderful care of my Newfoundlands. The girls are always so nice & my special requests seem to be no problem. I feel good about boarding them there even though I hate to be away from them.

Double-C isn't just about dog training, it's a great place to board a beloved fur baby. In my case it was three kitties who needed to be evacuated from my home when the Bootleg fire was threatening to take my house. I was in the hospital after surgery and my son was taking care of my dog and cats. Double-C took the three of them in. (My dog went back to Idaho with my son.) I ended up needing to be in a rehab facility for three weeks following my surgery. During their stay at Double-C one of my cats began to show symptoms of what eventually turned out to be cancer. Between trips to the veterinarian Double-C gave special attention to her, giving her extra TLC and special feedings. I let her go to the Rainbow Bridge without being able to be with her or say goodbye. But I was glad that she had comfort from the staff at Double-C. If there's a need in the future, I will board my fur babies at Double-C, and because of them, I now have a veterinarian that I like and can trust. The photo is of the sweet girl I lost.

Awesome facility. Got a great tour by the owner. Extensive facility. We used their firm for doggie day care as we are RV travelers and needed to be pet free for some of our activities.Our dog is very nervous and suffers from separation anxiety and did much better with them than by herself in the RV.She doesn’t object to being dropped off and is calm on pickup so they are doing something right as that is not always the case in other facilities.

My puppy took himself for a walk again and left his collar at home. He went to the Grange, because that's where cattle dogs belong, obviously. The lady there took him Double C. He was so happy when I came to bust him out of doggie jail. I'm always happy to pick him up from a clean environment where I know he's been safe. They accept donations by the way.

I was in from out of town and they were kind enough to take my dog For an overnight stay while I visited my son who had been hospitalized. They have a great set up and they are very organized and my doggie really enjoyed her stay there.

We have left our dogs (German shorthair pointer and Jack Russell) 3 times with Double C. Every time we come back the dogs are happy, clean and well fed. They really seem to know our dogs too. This is such a great asset to our community. Highly recommend if you need a resort for your pups.

We’ve enjoyed being a part of the Double C family for almost 20 years. All of our pets during that time have received training, grooming and boarding as needed. We have always felt confident that our pets would be safe and well taken care of by the staff at Double C. Recently things seem to have changed. On two different occasions we have not been completely satisfied. Any business must always listen to their customers if they expect to keep them. Yes, something can go wrong no matter what policies and procedures are set up because they have to be followed by all staff members. If and when something does goes wrong the staff should always go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy. Listen to the customers, apologize, support their concerns by relaying the information to all staff. You can’t cut corners if you want to do a good job. if your under staffed, do not take in more pets than you can handle. All cages, beds and equipment must be kept clean and sanitized at all costs. This is absolutely necessary. It’s not an option. Get your act together. I’m hoping the great attitudes that existed once can return so the confidence we had in Double C’s ability to care for our pets will return to 100% because it what we pay for, what we expect and its what all pets deserve. Please make this happen!!

I got to see all that involves the services of double-c i believe it was the owner gave me a tour of the building. They offer more services than i could imagine. Tidy and clean, even with many dogs visiting their facilities it smelled and looked clean. Dogs looked happy and well taken care of. I can't wait to take my fur baby in for a nail trim (lord knows she needs it)! They personalize each of the pups needs, this may be diets, personal items, or attention. Double-c staff seem to really care about the individual need of each and every doggo.

CAUTION: DO NOT BOARD YOUR PET HERE! I had my 11mo old pup boarded here for 4 days and she caught kennel cough. I took her to the vet and she was given antibiotics. My pup was given the Bordetella vaccine before she went to Double C. Thank goodness for she could have been in worse shape. I spoke with the owner and she did not deny that kennel cough was going around.

Not sure how our little town has the honor of such a professional caring and personal pet facility, but its a great place for pets and owners alike. And by the way the best chew toy in town any ware is the black rubber milk cup, (used for milking cows), that Double-C sells. Has the natural cow smell along with it being flexible and basically indestructible. And its very reasonably priced.

I’ve heard all great about this place. I called to schedule a training session with them very nicely, the lady working right now at this time idk what her name is. She answers the phone so rudely I couldn’t believe she treated me like I was a piece of trash. I was asking if I could put my dog in training she responded rudely something about there’s only one spot left I said okay I will take that spot. I proceeded to ask how I can register my dog and she said you can either come in or do it over the phone. I said lovely I will do it over the phone but if you’re busy i can call back in a little. She responded with well you’re gonna have to be patient because and it’s Christmas time. I said oh yeah ma’am I’m the most patient person you’ll ever meet. So then she started to take my information which I was spelling out and being so patient with her respond with yes ma’am no ma’am. Spelling my name out and she was still responding rude like for example she asked my dogs color I look at my sister and say what would you say his color is so I said he’s a tan brown ish. She goes IS HE BLACK BROWN AND TAN I said yes ma’am she goes WELL THATS CALLED BLAH BLAH. It was the name of his color way which I didn’t know so I said sorry I didn’t know that. She continues to be rude so I finally said okay ma’am I think I’m just going to call back later and she said bye and slammed her phone down that’s why i am here writing this message. I was patient the whole time and was nice she didn’t respond with one nice answer I didn’t get her name but she needs to be dealt with. She sounded like an older lady as well.

Great employees! I had never used a boarding service before so I was kind of nervous. But I could tell they loved up on my dog while I was away. The employees were sweet and friendly. I’ll definitely use them again in the future.

Very nice facility, great staff. All fees were explained in advance. If you take your dog in one day and pick up the next, it will count as two days. This is much the same as other places we have boarded at in the past including some veterinarian offices. Grooming appeared professionally done and much better than the local pet store. They will cater to special needs and special diets. I highly recommend Double C and will continue to use their services.

I took my puppy to have his nails trimmed for the first time, he's very nervous about having his feet touched. Kayla did an amazing job, very kind and patient with my boy. Highly recommend! Inexpensive as well.

Dogs have been and are contracting a bacteria there and carrying it to others. It is not just kennel cough and needs antibiotics. Yes... my dog is fully vaccinated. They are not being forthcoming on the bacteria nor the number of cases that are able to be traced to their facility. My pup got extremely sick 7 days after being groomed there and has been on antibiotics and in isolation for the past week. It start with a little discharge from the eyes and I just thought it might have been an allergy to the cleaning. 1 week later, after being around other dogs, she began to cough and gag... non stop. Double C is calling it Kennel Cough but it is far above that and not hit by the bordatello shot. They do know and we’re gifted the Right disinfectant for the bacteria, but since they deny having it in their facility not sure if they are using it. I would not trust them with my dogs. More respect if they owned up to it like other facilities in the basin and thoroughly cleaned with the appropriate disinfectant; letting the public know. My pup is going to be okay and I think the public needs this info to decide if they want their pup in that environment.

Great place to take your dog. I went there to get my dogs nails cut. Too much of a fight trying to do it ourselves. People are friendly. The place is always clean and order free. You can give you dog a bath there also. Many shampoos to choose from!

We have 3 little doxies who demand to have the best and of it. This is our first experience with putting the dogs in a kennel but we didn't give it a second thought because we know they give the best care. We have the longhairs get grooms and our groomer Jennifer is so awesome does a great job. Would recommend double c to anyone.

They treat their employees like trash. They take more dogs than they have room for and kennel cough runs rampant thru their facility. Took my dogs for a nail trim, they ended bleeding which never happens at their normal groomer. Definitely won't go back!
