I bought a $1 item today and I stated to the cashier I was paying with change because I hated to run my debit card for a buck since it costs the business more to run the card. I literally was one cent short and asked if they had a penny . He quickly looks on the counter behind him and states there is no change. ( he really didn't appear to look) I just thought the whole thing was ridiculous. Obviously they don't give a dam as long as they are getting a paycheck.

I am giving 2 stars for my review. 1 for the store having merchandise available & 1 star for all the employees including the managers they look dumpy, dirty & actually down right trashy. Wash your hair & comb it. Clean yourself up. Be attentive at the front counter. Take the cow bell down & get off your chair & stand when customers are in the store. Have you ever heard of meet & greet? Manners make a difference!!! Stop being lazy! Take some pride in yourselves.

My husband and I walked down to this location from the Motel 6 in town, where we were lodging a couple days because we are getting one of our cats spayed at Klamath Animal Clinic. We picked out our items (store was clean and organized) and went to check out. Mikayla (sorry if the spelling is wrong) rang us up. My husband noticed that there was a item not ringing up as food and he asked about it because we were about to pay with foodstamps. Mikayla said that she cannot tell us what the non food item is until we run the card through. We ran the card and it said we owed for something non food. She proceeded to tell us that we probably just didn't have enough food stamps and that the money we just ran it for would take days to get back on the card dumfounded, we went back to the hotel to call the food stamp card. There was more than enough even with that transaction.We went back to the store and Tony was there to help. We got the same items rung up and figured out that it was a box of cereal (my husband still had to suggest that this was the item that was the same amount it was declining) that was not ringing up as food in their system. Tony was just as confused as to why a food item wasn't ringing up as food. Instead of making us put it back, he either put it through the system as a promo or discount or maybe even paid for it himself.I learned that Mikayla is also manager and could've done the same thing. Instead we felt judged and pushed away by her.We can all figure things out together if you just realize we are equal. Also, don't judge a book its cover, kids.

Just walked out. I stood at the counter waiting to check out for 8 minutes. Nobody showed up. So, I left my entire cart at their cash register and walked out. This place sucks!!!!. There could be only three shoppers in the entire store, and you're still going to wait half an hour to checkout. Their self check out has been out of order and broken for 3 years. The guys that work there are super nice but extremely slow. Takes 5 to 6 minutes per transaction as they move at a snails pace backing the line up. I keep going back because it's close to home. However, it's quicker for me to attend a further away store sometimes, then navigate this dollar store. I attempted calling the store 9 times on my drive there to see if they had heat light bulbs. No one answered the phone. When I arrived and told the cashier that I've been calling for over 30 minutes, he replied, "My boss hid the telephone battery from me and doesn't want me to answer phones"

Small convince type store, like a scaled down mini Walmart. Has a little bit of everything, very easy in and out. Really convient for small shopping trips, like milk , bread, soda, and motor oil, or whatever barely any lines and small enough if you only need milk its 20 feet from the door, walmart is 6 miles to milk. Also prices are good comparable to Walmart, cheaper than albertsons.

How can you expect more from a Dollar General, friendly efficient staff, well stocked with everything from milk to medication, to coloring books for kids, perfect for a one stop shopping trip.
