Materials and several saw cuts got me going on this 4' x 6' x 12" pine cabinet with fir rails & trim. Thanks to DHI staff for their expertise cutting the 12'x1"x12" pine boards & the 4'x8'x1/4" hardboard back to fit inside my Jeep Cherokee.

Spent thousands of dollars here, everything was great until I had to order something through their contractor sales team. I walked into their office & interrupted two men watching YouTube videos, who were very reluctant to stop so they could take my order. They proceeded to be rude throughout the entire experience(every single other employee I've dealt with there has been very helpful & friendly)...Now, almost a month later, I have no order, & I haven't even been able to get anyone from sales on the phone in 2 days. Never again.Edit: the order has been sitting there for who knows how long, no one ever notified me. We've been waiting on this order to finish the next stage of this project. I can't order from this place again, what a poor experience all around.

If you buy a wood chipper make sure that an employee didn't drop a lock in it & not say anything. Cost me a days work + gas & travel time. Management didn't even apologize for the inconvenience & THEIR error. Someone could have gotten REALLY hurt.

My experience with this store has overall been negative. Most of the employees have come off as pretty rude. It seemed that the customer was inconvenient. Today the salesperson walked away without explanation in the middle of cutting some tubing. He eventually came back, again without explanation. If it wasn't so convenient, I probably wouldn't shop there at all.

Had to come grab a part to finish a job. They were slow but had customers with issue. It took about 20 minutes for the 3 people in line to get checked out. I had help finding my part, but still managed to get the wrong one even with the item it went to. My bad. Nice store though. Will be back when I need hardware in Kfalls.

Very disappointed with the service I received today. Tried to return an air filter and the employee was much less than helpful. Thanks for wasting my money I guess I'll make the extra drive to home depot from now on.

Great flooring, great prices. Just had my whole house floored with LVP. Brady was super helpful and TJ and his flooring crew were amazing. Hard working and finished on schedule. Would highly recommend. Did I mention that I love my new floors? I do.

Immediately upon entering I was asked to leave my backpack, which contains all of my personal belonging, wallet, firearm, at the counter where 2 associates were distracted with customers and tasks. Basically I was asked to leave my purse at the counter and trust the associates who initiated our interaction with basically assuming my bag was for stealing, to watch over all of my personal items as I shopped. I have spent thousands here over the years and have never been asked to do this before when I often use backpack or oversized bags. I must wonder if it is because I am dressed more casually today to be warm in the elements as I must walk due to my car being in the shop. Regardless, the last thing I expected was to be assumed a criminal and asked to trust strangers with my bag and/or security of my firearm. Gross judgement and I took Mt backpack and money elsewhere. Do better Diamond..

Jerks...you have the worse employees. Talk to females as thou they are ignorant. I was told by one employee in front of 3 others standing behind him that " Bring your husband next time you come in and we can help you." I was so frustrated I told my hubby and many male and female friends. Last week I went back to the store and brought my hubby...your employees greeted us at entry. Went to fill our list of wants..and one employee àsked if we needed help I said no thanks we just found it after 17 minutes and 4 lanes of screws. Five employees turned around when they saw customers. Needed wires never could talk to him I said "excuse me who can help us with wires?" he said "I'm on lunch don't know." I prefer to shop local...however after we left we went to Home Depot..my husband was amazed greeted as we look at the headers to select an aisle we had 3 employees ask us if they could help..I could not find the ceiling fan I wanted I showed him a photo I took in your store he found it and did not insult me once. My hubby was watching from down the aisle. He said no more diamond these ppl are better they know service. I want to shop local but your employees need to drop there clubs and go back to the caves they crawled out of.Not a Diamond customer any more. Driving 5 miles away but service is more than a word.Bye

I haven't walked into DHI for over a year because my experiences with them were very negative and unfixable. They have some products that Home Depot doesn't carry and I wasn't able to find anything cheap enough online so I thought I'd try my luck. That was a mistake. The store was busy so they had zero carts inside the building.Thankfully there were carts scattered all over the parking lot so I pulled one out of the handicap parking spot so that someone could actually park there. I walk in and both cashiers were laughing at Tik Tok videos on their phones, also while both cashiers had customers waiting for them to turn around so they can check out and leave. Unprofessional. I tried to look for the product I needed and couldn't find it so I attempted to ask for help. Multiple employees claimed they were "on lunch and didn't know so ask the cashiers", then proceeded to help other customers while supposedly on their lunch. Interesting? After over an hour of trying to ask for help, I found what I needed by myself and went to the register. The price was more expensive from what the tag said on the shelf and my cashier refused to honor the price because "it's not her responsibility". I had to go take a picture of the tag to prove to the cashier I wasn't lying. She was very rude and still wouldn't change the price. Store manager comes over and fixes the issue. Her attitude was unprofessional as well considering the fact that she was rolling her eyes and she insulted her employee under her breath, calling her an idiot. Or maybe it's more likely that she was calling me an idiot. DHI has not improved since last year and is even more chaotic underneath it's current management. Don't tell me to contact anyone on your management team because frankly, they are a huge part of the problem.

I needed paint and there was nobody there so I pushed the call button. Nothing. Went to the cashiers and asked for somebody to come but after waiting for 20 minutes, nobody arrives. I asked for somebody to come help again. Multiple employees walked by the paint desk and nobody even made eye contact with me! Eventually, and I assume she was a manager since she was wearing a black shirt and had short, blond, curly hair, skinny and said that she didn't know how to operate the paint machine and she didn't have any staff available to do it! Then she proceeded to confront an employee, making them cry, while other customers are casually walking by! NO! Take that into your office and do it privately! And don't force customers to leave your store because you have understaffed, untrained employees! Not to mention that there were MULTIPLE pallets of unstocked products around the back wall of the department which made it near impossible to walk by without tripping on something. Get your act together DHI!

I purchased a wood stove and complete chimney system from diamond. After I picked up my unit they called me a couple days later and told me my wood stove was ready to be picked up. They had no record of my wife getting it a couple days prior. They told me I need to come and pick the stove up. I told them I had already done it. I could have easily went in and gotten a free wood stove but I am honest and I did not. Some time later I went to return a small part that I did not need from the chimney. It was less than $10. The manager refused to do it because I did not have a receipt nor would he give me store credit. This would have never been a problem at a place like the home Depot which is where I normally shop and will continue shopping to avoid diamond and their petty return policies. I'd like to shop the local smaller businesses. I've always received much better customer service from the home Depot.

I recently purchased a fairly expensive product from Diamond that had a manufacturer defect. When Jeremy with Diamond learned the manufacturer of the product was not helpful in resolving the issue, he went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. This was especially meaningful to me considering he did not have to help as much as he did. I would 100% recommend Diamond over other big box stores as they still treat you with the highest level of customer service and care about your shopping experience.

Just watched 10 employees stand around doing absolutely nothing, not offering anyone any help or assistance. Well, actually it took 10 employees to watch the guy on the forklift take a pallet off the shelf. And they wonder why they are losing business. How about training your employees to actually work.9/29/22 - Do not expect them to honor prices on the shelf. They marked up an item three times as much at the register with no apology and a rotten customer service attitude by management. I understand every business owner is taking this time to gouge people using inflation as the motivator and excuse, but if you want to keep your customers, how about honoring the prices advertised on the shelf regardless that you are not obligated to by law. You'll probably have make more loyal customers this way. Just a bit of business advice from someone with a Master's degree in business.

I am extremely pleased with the long term services received from Jeff Thomas, Brady and the installation teams at Diamond flooring. They consistantly meet my urgent needs on a regular basis, provide high quality, durable products and excellent service. I manage senior care homes and they're staff are respectfull and trust worth. They build long term relationships and treat my teams and residents like family. They are by far our preferred vendor. Many thanks and much appreciation for all they do.

I have been shopping here for over 20 years. The staff is kind and knowledgeable. All the cashiers are young and vibrant assets. Diamond is lucky And very smart for giving our local young people and our future leaders the opportunitie to work in such a diverse atmosphere. Emily and Zoe always make my visit to diamond a joy. Keep up the great work of keeping diamond home improvement the best locally owned and operated home improvement store in the basin.

I was visiting my brother and he needed some paint and hardware so we went to the Diamond Home Improvement yesterday (05/06021) and went to the paint department for a couple of things. The employee there (Damian Johnson) was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. He took the time to look up inventory and when future supplies would be done and took the extra step to get a name and phone number to call when it came in. After reading other reviews I'm baffled, I wish the other building center in town was as well stocked, I'm very impressed with the amount of hardware they have. My experience has been 5 star.

I usually have a pretty good experience at Diamonds. I recently came in to purchase 6 pieces of corrugated metal roofing. The person's in the back covered warehouse was really helpful. He carried all the metal out to my truck too.

During this uncertain time it is a little frightening to venture out for essentially supplies.I am a recent transplant to Klamath Falls. My first essential trip to Diamond turned out to be a wonderful experience with helpfully and friendly staff asking how they could help me. I felt comfortable and safe.I was in and out quickly, with my purchase.Thank you James for having such a great staff!!With social distancing as it is, the only thing missing was the hand shake..Thank you for being open!

Employee persistently argued with me about the price of an item--even after I first showed pictures of the bar code, then later even showed her and him the bin with the product.I don't spend my money to pay augmentative, incompetent employees. If you don't know about a product just say you don't know. Geesh. Canceling my business with Diamond.At least at Home Depot the employees will say they are not sure or dont know.

A young man named Anthony assisted me with everything on my list. I was very impressed with his product knowledge and super good attitude. His help at the end of my work day was truly a blessing! The young lady at the check out was also very gracious and positive. Thankful for Diamond in our community!

First I bought a 4x8x8. There were only 3. All were either warped or large cracking most of the length. I had to go stand in line to return an item I never even picked up and had to purchase a 10 ft just to get a quality piece. This isn't the first time its happened. Next I paid for #2 or btr 2x4x8. When I got out to the yard all I could find were what they called standard and ends were painted red. I asked a forklift driver where the #2 were at he said these were it. I said they weren't labeled what I pay for and all these were junk. I even had another customer agree with me. Forklift driver said to go inside and do a return. I went back in and the line was long. So I said screw it I'll dig through the pile. He called the manager. Who told me to leave. I dug through half the pile just to find 20 decient ones. WARNING Diamond charges for #2 but sells economy lumber. I went to Home Depot later that day. They had #2 printed on their lumber and I was able to quickly find 4 good ones with out digging. In fact they were closer to a #1. Home Depot will be getting more of my business and I will let my friends know also. Home Depot also has a better website and does free pickup in store and now curb side delivery for free.

They are improving. But still have a long way to go. I'm really glad to see an improvement though. I've been a fan ever since they started. So I'm hoping one day to change this to a five. If you haven't been there since there fall off give them another chance, you may be surprised
