The staff at Benson Eye Care are all very friendly and professional. The wait is always minimal, if anything. I was recently transferred to Dr. Jennifer Sparks, O.D. after Dr. Tuhey left and honestly I was apprehensive. I had been with Dr. Tuhey for quite awhile and he was an excellent doctor. However, I have been just as pleased with Dr. Sparks and all the effort she and her staff have made to get me the right prescription as well as making it possible for me to remain wearing my contacts. Thank you to everyone at Benson Eye Center.

I bought a pair of glasses a few months ago when I went to pick them up I was given the bill and the person went over the charges. A month or so later I received a bill for $10.00. I called and asked what was the $10.00 for because I paid the amount on the bill when I picked up the glasses. I reluctantly paid but voiced my displeasure with that type of billing practice.Last week I went into the office on Almond because the left lens kept falling out. I was greeted and asked what they could do for me and I told them. The receptionist asked if I had an appointment. I said no and was going to explain I live out of town and happened to be in town when she told me the optometrists was not seeing anyone without an appointment. I asked really and turned to walk out. The receptionist said to me but I can help you as I was walking out the door.Not how I feel a customer should be treated. Steer clear of these crooks!!!Bill Hollinger

My first visit to Benson Eye Center was for a long overdue eye exam. Everyone at this office has been great. They found an abnormality with my optic nerves so I had a couple additional tests and they were able to exclude glaucoma. Getting my new glasses here was easy and the prescription and glasses are perfect. My husband was also very happy with the Doctor and staff. We will be going back here for sure.

My experience with the doctor was great. The support staff was another matter. The man who reviewed my case to determine the frames I needed was all about selling me me more stuff I didn't need. And the follow up to get my glasses took FOREVER. I won't be going back there again.

Check in was quick and they had my info folder right there. I was a few minutes early as my appointment was at 1:50 but after sitting in the waiting room till my wife was finished with her appointment and looking at new glasses I was beginning to wonder if I had been forgotten. Seems my folder had others who arrived after me placed in front of mine.Once in the appointment went smoothly and efficiently.

The Dr. & staff were all very professional & pleasant. My appointment was right on time, quick, yet thorough. I even had assistance in my selection on new glasses, which was greatly appreciated. It was a very good experience. Thank you.

Came in for a routine eye exam. At the end of the exam Dr. Dearing (who was nothing but pleasant and professional) told me that my old RX had not changed. That evening (after my eyes un-dialed), I reviewed the RX to discover it had been reduced in both eyes. After a couple days with the sample contacts at the new RX, I noticed a significant reduction in my vision and tried an old pair at the stronger RX, they were better. I called to ask if there had been a mistake and was told a tech would call me back that day, they never called me back. Two day later I called again and asked if they could fit me in to verify the new (lower RX), again I was told a tech would call me back and again nobody called me back. After trying to call several more times without anyone picking up, I showed up as my wife had an appointment and I was giving her a ride anyway. I asked if they could confirm the new RX because it seemed worse. Eventually a tech told me they would update their RX to my old RX but refused to actually confirm that the old RX was better. I just want to have the best vision possible and confirm the correct RX before spending hundreds of dollars on contacts that may not be ideal. I do not understand why I even need an RX to buy contacts if the Dr. is comfortable changing an RX 0.50 from what they believe is correct without taking 5 minutes to confirm the RX is correct. Sadly, this is what health care has become in this country, a focus on turning over as many patients as fast as possible at the expense of quality care.

This was my first experience with Benson Eye Center and the service was excellent! I found the staff to be helpful, quick and efficient. The glasses department does a great job of helping you find the perfect pair and when my dog chewed up my brand new glasses they were able to help me replace them at no charge! I highly recommend this eyecare center.

They were quick to get me in. The doc, and assistant were very nice and professional. Great place when you need care. And they told me i could go elsewhere for cheaper glasses. Most people try to sell you there stuff only. I was able to go to Walmart and was given a great price

Do not waste your time with this place.Even with an appointment you will be waiting an hour in one room or another.If you pay upfront expect a bill anyway. I paid for 2 pairs of glasses upfront same day and still got billed.When I called in it was "not posted" after getting it posted i am told of another forgotten charge. I just cant pay these people to go away. On top of all this glasses take forever to come in.One pair needed to be sent back in. I was directed to a manager for all of this I dont expect to be called back these people dont seem to give a %$#@!

I felt like every person at each step of the way was trying to convince me that I had dry eyes or needed drops or had to use a specific brand of cleanser. I've been wearing contacts for over 20 years and I've never had an issue. Still, everyone kept trying to talk me into having some kind of problem so I would buy a particular product. I also had to sign a waiver because I declined to have my eyes dilated when they were just dilated last year.Worst of all, there was a sign in the room with bold and underlined words that made the patients feel threatened stating that the patient had to wear a mask over there nose and mouth for the entire exam... yet when I walked into the office one of the receptionists was wearing her mask under her nose and the other receptionist wasn't wearing hers at all! Bottom line: you could tell everyone was faking being friendly instead of it actually being a friendly office.

Professional, clean, quick, and high quality! Dr Tuhy guided me through PRK surgery with the Medford Eye center and my vision is still 20/20 4 years later. He is always friendly and knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.

I can't imagine a nicer more professional doctor than Dr. Tuhey. At my last yearly checkup the cause of my vision loss wasn't of the normal reasons. However, stumped perhaps at first, I knew I was in great hands. He would not give up, settling not until he understood my problem and leaving me with nothing less then the best possible vision he could help me get to. However, my options were expensive. Knowing the financial hardship these changes would cause, he and his staff took it upon themselves to reach out to my insurance carrier - getting them to cover it as well as any future appointments under the same claim. Once approved, they even reimbursed me for my initial appointment.My new vision wear ( hard contacts) have been a God send and I see better than I have in many years. Thank you Dr. Tuhey and staff!!

52 yes old. Same contact prescription south 6th GRADE!! Have had thousands of eye exams. They said $120 for exam on phone. Cool. Towards the end..... We are gonna FIT them. $50. What?? Fit them? The contacts in the box have been the same size my whole life! I just need the prescription cause I just moved to Oregon and my contacts ran out and prescription is needed to buy them. They then called their affiliate office in town and told them NOT to take me??!! I was hard to deal with! I have had the same contacts longer than the Doctor has been alive!! Never in 52 yes have I been soooooo agitated!! That's like buying a car and on the way to the car.....charging me for the keys??!!😳 These people are RUDE. Not me. I wouldn't recommend them to ANYONE!! 😟😟

First time customer. Friendly staff upon entering. Clean facility.I met with Amy, who did the work up before Dr. Dearing arrived. She was easy to speak with and answered my questions.Dr. Dearing was friendly, easy to speak with. He answered more questions. Did a thorough check up. He gave me options for glasses based on my needs. I had no issues. I would go back.

I do not recommend this place. It took over 2 months to get my glasses, then they fell apart, scratching the lense in less than 24 hours of receiving them. The woman I dealt with needs to improve her customer relation skills. I Did not appreciate being treated like a second rate person just because of my insurance. You should treat everyone the same.

Wasted years trying to get my son eye prescription right and they always said that it’s as good as it’s gonna get for his astigmatism. Decided to try a new place and went to basin eye care . All it took was one appointment, spending some extra time with him and Now he can finally read the chart and is doing better at everything. So disappointed we didn’t leave sooner.

I was initially very unhappy with my service from this place...but with no encouragement from me they made this right and them some. Not only did I get a full refund, but also the glasses I passed up because of all the initial frustration free of charge. This place definitely is worth a visit, nothing says good buisness like how you clean up a baf experience for your customers.

I was seen at Klamath Eye center, I believe my experience today changed my overall feelings. Though my first experience wasn't amazing. Today truly was. I paid out $150.00 for glasses I can't see out of. They told me to wait a couple of days for them on Thursday by Monday I was back in there when you put a pair of glasses on you should be able to see. Well I still can't but they won't fix them. They said sorry is some light on what your trying to read. I'll never go there again

Three appointments four pairs of glasses still needed to go to a different place to get glasses have been using mine for four years they still haven’t given me a pair of glasses that’ll work they only charge me $2000 And have yet to give me a pair of glasses I can use in three years And the day I added this review they decided to charge me an extra $125 thanks guys
