Went in needing a ps3 controller because I had smashed mine. Nowhere in town had one but the owner was kind enough to look through some stuff he had and come up with a tested and working one for me at a better price than anywhere online I had looked. Staff is also knowledgeable, and kind which can be hard to find now. Really really wanted to say thank you to them by posting this review as I greatly appreciated the help! Will HANDS DOWN shop here again when I need something for my PS2 or PS3.

Great store, friendly people. Hands down the best bathrooms of any game store I've been to. I got to take a hot shower and everything.Ask about their swimming pool.

We were looking for a fun place to visit in Klamath Falls. This is one of the few that was open on Presidents Day. It was great. They sell plenty of magic cards, pokemon cards, Dungeons & dragon stuff. Also, things for a game that you design the figures yourself. With a nice selection of retro video games (nes, snes, atari, wii, wii u, ps3, xbox, xbox 360). We could have spent hours here.

This place is so great. My children get to spend their allowance once a month here and everyone that works here is so helpful. I highly recommend bringing your children here or yourself if you’re interested in any kind of card games they have a great selection. thank you for being amazing with our children.

Great spot when shopping for table top and role playing games. I like getting gifts here, for myself and others. People can play inside the shop at the tables. Only place like it in Klamath and glad we have it.

I recently bought a GameCube and a couple games from here. While super excited to get home, plug everything in, and get to reminisce on old times, one of the games was scratched and didn't work. I called and brought back the game and the gentleman helping me gave me money back for the game. Ultimately happy about my purchase and the customer service.

This game store was absolutely amazing. I just was recently introduced to Magic The Gathering and had gone here to look at getting some cards. Well needless to say I spent $300 on new cards. The staff were super friendly and extremely helpful. Again with this being only my second time purchasing cards for MTG it was a great experience. The gentleman that did help me was extremely knowledgeable in everything and answered all my questions with ease. I would easily go back there to make further purchases as it was the most pleasant experience I had honestly ever experienced. That you Basin Gaming.

This is one of the best hobby stores - hands down. I honestly travel 2 hours out of my way to play games at this store.Let me tell you why:Super friendly staff! Any issues I had with them is dealt with in a professional manner. They are knowledgeable in most games systems, and know who to ask if they're not.HUGE play area. I've always found a table. The card players and the table top players have plenty of space for each, so I've never encountered an issue. Edit: Almost forgot! Plenty of chairs and stools, don't have to stand for hours if you don't want to!)Lots of tournaments! Regular 40k tournaments and plenty of MTG & pokemon too! ( I'm not a card player if you haven't guess :)Great selection for their store! Not just miniatures, but board games, cards games, collectibles (funco pops!) and, of course, all the dice you can think of.I could go on, seriously. This is a great store. Cheers!

I love coming in here, they have a great selection. The staff is friendly, helpful and will order most anything they don't have in stock for you. The place is carefully laid out, clean and comfortable. It's a great place to come gather with friends around a table and play whichever game interests you. The environment is very friendly and kids can come and have fun safely. The "dungeon" is a quiet, awesome place to play your tabletop rpg's. Grand adventures have and continue to take place here!

This review of basin gaming will cover my last several visits to the shop: The shop owner Rob was very nice and knowledgeable and ordered a base game (Legendary) for me on my earlier visits.Following that visit Cody behind the counter was friendly and looked up the information regarding all of the games that I asked about as well as ordering the first 2 expansions(Secret Wars & Dark City) for the game.Of my three most recent trips I was only helped properly Tuesday, apparently that is when Cody is behind the counter. Prior to this visit I have been in mostly on weekends, and there has been new staff in the shop. I say in the shop, because the first time the young woman employed there was talking to some friends in the back and the person behind the counter said he didn't work there. He proceeded to offer no assistance and after waiting too long, I asked who was running the shop and was directed to the young woman. She was uninterested in helping me, and when asked about product she responded with "I don't know when he orders them." While looking at her phone.The next week I came in I spoke to a younger man who was behind the counter, after helping two people who were not in line, he grudgingly collected the items I purchased (Dice, and several tabletop games) and rang them up without once actually answering any questions.These last few visits are the reason Basin Gaming does not get 5 stars from me. On my older visits Byron, Rob, and Cody earned 5 stars and to my regret I did not review the shop then. I can only hope the service from the new employees improves to the standard I expect from the shop so I can review again in the future and raise the rating to 5 stars.

I came into this store with an interest in a particular card game. (I didn't know jack squat about the game)I asked the owner what he could tell me about it. I had many questions and he patiently answered each one and made suggestions based on my interest.I would recommend this store for anyone just starting out playing games such as Pokemon, yugioh, and mtg.They also host game tournaments and casual gaming in their spacious gaming area.

Excellent product selection. Store has anything you could want and if they don't, they can order it for you! Almost every sanctioned format for Magic: the Gathering is played monthly, and they support other various games from YuGiOh sealed products, Force of Will, and a variety of board games! Superb knowledge base of gaming products! 10/10 would shop here again.

If you are here for MTG and things like it you are in for a great experience. If you are here for board games expect poor customer service and to be ignored. Board games are overpriced unless they have been in the store for months and any requests can take a long time to get fulfilled due to issues during ordering. The owner is a great person but unless its magic or one of his interests it's not a priority. The employees are typically absorbed in something with magic players either in the back or the front and will rarely greet you or acknowledge you at all when you enter the store. On February 9th 2018 around 9pm I came in and spent 30 minutes in the store looking around and there was no one at the counter. After about 15 minutes, there was finally someone going between the counter and the back of the store. They never once acknowledged I was there. After this experience and their overall customer service and issues with orders I will not be coming back to this store again. I say this after being a long term customer since the shop first opened.

Great place to hang out and play all games. Not just another Magic store, but a store open to all games people play. I saw a couple sit down and start to play a board game, while cards players were playing. All ages are welcome and encouraged to sit and hang. A place you can take your kids without reservations.

The atmosphere here is always friendly and inviting. They have a wonderful selection. They also sell D&D books and minis, of course they have a bunch of different CCGs available, and they have a good selection of board games here. Events are happening all the time. If you have not visited Basin Gaming yet, now is just as good of a time as ever.

Awesome collections of board and card games including Catan and Magic the Gathering. Also have a small selection of retro games and consoles at the front of the store. We were told they accept trade ins and will pay better than Gamestop for the right games.
