The people in Junction City are the meanest, unconscious and unfriendly people around. hands down. The woman manger wouldn't fill my prescription because i had the audacity to tell her she should organize her store so people don't wait in the wrong line, which i did for awhile, and got grief from a "karen" customer who couldn't mind her own business. This is not limited to safeway pharmacy. Other stores in this dilapidated, oppressed town are extremely uneducated and mean. And you want me to be kind? Grow up.

*UPDATE* 8/20/23I AMEND MY REVIEW TO STATE THIS,When I first transferred my prescriptions the staff members I encountered were phenomenal! The younger girls that work there are fantastic and super friendly and helpful. However, Patricia who works behind the counter should not be :-( I'm sure she is a wonderful person but she is not fit for the job at the pharmacy. Not only do they open late every day past the time they are supposed to they saunter in slowly and Patricia is eager to be rude and definitely perpetuates her slowness as a punishment. She is eager to make comments about her own issues to make excuse for her lackadaisical attitude at her job. It's really disheartening because there's no reason for it. If she has become so grumpy with the customers that she can't even show up on time and be pleasant courteous quick and informative she needs to be working at a different part of the store :-( I am not attempting to be cruel with my statements only true. I'm sorry but Patricia should not be working at the pharmacy it would be great if they actually valued their customers care enough to show up before opening and get set up rather than opening 10 minutes after opening and taking their sweet time to get things set up and help customers :-(it's unfortunate because the rest of the staff members are fantastic and these reviews clearly reflect the one pharmacist and Patricia and their inability to care enough for their job to do things the way they should be done sorry to the good ones that are there with the bad apples :-(have no idea why this pharmacy is getting such low reviews because when I moved and had to switch my prescriptions, after my first experience I was thrilled with everyone at this location. Not only were they extremely professional every single time I have been in they have had smiles on their faces, been more than helpful and I never see them just standing around chit-chatting like most pharmacies. After the closure of Bi-Mart pharmacies and several others I went through many and had bad experiences at each one for a variety of reasons. I have to say this is the best pharmacy I've ever worked with their professional and have always had my scripts ready on time and never made a mistake. Like I said I don't understand why their reviews are so low because the entire team has gone above and beyond for me and is wonderful I highly recommend this pharmacy. Maybe it's because other people have not had to being a larger town and deal with pharmacy issues but this is the first pharmacy I can honestly say I have ever had such professional kind compassionate treatment from and never one problem with any of my rxs fills thank you so much you guys keep it up and don't let anyone tell you you're anything but wonderful 🙏🙇🐝

I've used Safeway pharmacies for over 20 years. But this is the end of that! Junction City location NEVER answers the phone and NEVER returns phone calls, or answers important questions about refills. I've had to get the Store Manager to walk back to get the pharmacist to respond to an urgent prescription error that they made! In order to ask a simple question you literally have to drive to the store and stand in line to ask anything. I'm very sick most of the time and this is the worst. I do not have anyone to go to the store for me. I'll be seeking a way to contact corporate offices about this group of employees. No, I dont feel bad for them. Other pharmacies are able to handle basic phone questions, and get necessary refills out and not screw up patient records, etc. My health is worth more than this. Definitely moving my business and all my prescriptions to a different pharmacy.

They took my hard copy prescription I got from the E.R. and told me to come back later. When I did they claimed the doctor who wrote it in the er, is not covered under my insurance. I asked for the copy back because then I could show my actual doctor and get things worked out BUT they refused to give it back. They said they "wrote notes" on my prescription and could not hand it back because of the "notes" written on it. They didn't know what to do and then they asked me what I wanted to do. I can't even make this stuff up. My doctors office couldn't believe what I was saying. I left without it. Horrible place.

All the bad reviews i read are for the PHARMACY. The staff is always nice, auch a convenience to not have to drive any longer. Yes, it's expensive but that's why they are called convenient stores. It's always clean, and they have recently remodeled their fridge area.

Well...everyone else has posted everything wrong with this pharmacy over the last 3+yrs. I too, continued to give them the benefit of the doubt after Bi-Mart closed. It has been my worst nightmare trying to use this pharmacy and today they finally accomplished getting on my last nerve. Management must not read these reviews because it just continues to get worse by the day. This pharmacy is worthless!!! Incompetent staff is ridiculous!!Wal-Mart is getting a customer back. Way better service and a great staff at the Delta location😊

I can't believe they can operate like this. Negative stars if it were possible. My doctor directly sent my prescription orders to this pharmacy last month. The prescriptions are all refillable once per month, and I signed up for auto refill with text notifications. It looks like they screwed up and signed me up for 90-day refills. I'm on my second day without medication, because the prescriptions have not been refilled. I need one of them to LIVE. When you call the pharmacy number, you are directed to an Orwellian automated phone menu. The robo message is disrespectful and frankly unsettling. I had to call the grocery store manager to get a human on the phone. He said he would deliver my message to the pharmacist, but I have heard nothing. I'm looking for a regulatory agency to report them to, because people are going without necessary medications.Update: I went in this morning to see if they had anything ready. Everything should have been filled a week ago. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, I'm told they're working on it. I stand there for another 5 minutes, and the pharmacist hands me one prescription. Me: Where are the other three? Pharmacist: We're working on your other one. Me: But there are three that haven't been filled. Pharmacist: You're doctor requested single refills for the ones you don't have. Me: I know for a fact that he requested three months of refills. And skipping any of these medications is dangerous for me. Pharmacist: Blank stare. This pharmacy is endangering people!

So, tried to make an online appointment... no success. Drove 18 miles in, was told that the software was faulty, and just to put in Pfizer for vaccine and let the staff know we wanted Moderna. Drove in again the day before to verify that the times were correct, and we wanted Moderna. Showed up at our appointment time... guess what.. no Moderna. The person said there was no difference, and we weren't comfortable with switching to Phizer after 4 shots of Moderna.. Got lectured by pharmacy staff that we were making them waste the doses... really fries me. I spent extra time, made several trips in to verify what we wanted. No wonder all their staff is quitting... pretty incompetent!!

I would give less stars if possible. Waited in line for 2 hours on a Sunday only to be lied to that they did not receive my son’s prescription. Called the doctor who said they had sent it, but would send it again. Arrived hours later and the pharmacy still said they never received it, but after I made them search again suddenly they found it. Then had to wait in the line again even though I was told on Sunday I could pick it up in the drop off and skip the line. I was told the person working on Sundays is a floater and cannot make that decision. I will NEVER fill a prescription here again.

I wish I could give them zero stars too. I understand that they are understaffed and overloaded due to the fall out of the Bi Mart sale but.....I am supposed to be on an antibiotic and my doctor sent it in over 24 hours ago. After I get this medicine, my family will be switching pharmacies. I'm in pain and want my infection to go away. All you get when they go to the pharmacy is rude people who won't look you in the eye when speaking to you. I was told my medicine would be ready around 5 p.m. I have yet to hear from them and they DON'T ANSWER THE PHONE!!!!!

What to say about a business that seems to have crumbled under the pressure of the pandemic, and never fully recovered. Lines are consistently long, service is painfully slow. Excuses are offered routinely. There are other local/nearby pharmacies that are better options.

I would give this place -5 stars if I could, I put in the prescription request 3 days in advance and call, and it’s always the same, that it is being processed and I literally have to physically go to the pharmacy and tell them, and then finally they start processing the prescription, which takes them 30 minutes to 1 hour minimum always. Store advertises walk in flu shots which they told me is a lie because the person that does the shots isn’t in everyday and I have to make an appointment. The staff are all nice but there is no other option for a lot of people in the area so no competition, makes me feel like they are aware of this and henceforth don’t care. I need to find an alternative stat.

The absolute worst pharmacy and worst staff you could ever meet . My wife has a stat antibiotic order the tech was inept and said they had nothing in the system for her , he was just lazy . There is literally nobody in line and they are making me wait 45 min for this medication while they are sitting there talking . This pharmacy should have their license taken I have never experienced anything like this anywhere else . I would give negative stars if I could .

I wish I could give a lower rating. The incompetence of this pharmacy is mind blowing. It takes them around 24 hours to fill a prescription. The wait in store is unbelievable. I will NEVER send another prescription to this pharmacy.

Worst pharmacy ever! If i could give 0 stars i would. Went in to drip off a prescription i was 3rd in line and it took them 20 minutes to get to me. Only to be rudely told it would take several days to get my prescription filled because she is the only one there. I will never us Safeway Pharmacy and Safeway should really consider shutting them down.

The people at the pharmacy are always nice but the quality and timeliness of the service is about as bad as it can be.No matter how long after a prescription is sent in, magically they just received it while in line..... you have to drive to the pharmacy....tell them they have a prescription waiting...then wait the hour for them to fill it and then wait for an hour in their line.Slowest, most unorganized, miserable pharmacy ever. I only fill here if I need something on a sunday....even then it's almost worth waiting until Monday even if it may kill me...that's how miserable thus place is!!!! Avoid at all vosts.

Been using this pharmacy for 4 years. The first 3 years my experience was always 4 stars. Often the staff would go out of their way to make things happen and the call-in process and text service worked well. Mgmt reduced staff, it is their fault service has degraded. Besides negative posts, calling Safeway mgmt at the corporate offices and complaining will add even more pressure and hopefully they listen to affect positive changes. I stood in a line yesterday with 23 people in line snaking through the dairy section all the way into the bakerysection. Reach out to mgmt to complain in order to make everyone's negative feelings more strongly known.

It's been almost a week and they haven't filled my prescriptions. They don't answer the phone or take messages and you have to wait a literal hour in line to talk to someone in person. F Bimart for leaving us hanging and forcing us to put up with Safeway.

Worst experience over and over!! I'm trying to get a price on a prescription that I need, now most pharmacies can do an out of pocket price immediately but not safeway, so after, I guess, maybe I've misunderstood but I wasn't able to get any help with a new prescription AND finally after waiting several minutes of feeling bad body language and huge annoyance from the actual pharmacist when I was double checking to be sure my current meds are going to be ok with my stage four kidney failure diagnosis the pharmacist tells me if I'm not on dialysis I'm not in kidney failure??? I'm calling my doctor as I write this to ask some serious questions. I don't understand why so many have a problem with this pharmacy, today they embarrassed me , i can only assume they were annoyed with my frustration, there were two others behind me as well the pharmacist did not hesitate to speak my medications loud in an awful manner when I questioned one of them not knowing what it was, as she stated ' mood enhancer'!!!

I wish i could give this place zero stars... I dropped my prescription off at 1130 this morning and due to lack of my own planning I need that prescription today because I wouldn't have one for tomorrow morning and when I dropped the prescription off I made that very clear to the lady and she said it would get done... fast forward to 6hrs later... my husband shows up to pick it up for me and the lady said THEY WERE OUT OF STOCK... so you're telling me in the 6hours since I dropped off my prescription this lady couldn't pick up a phone and call me and tell me they were out so I could make other arrangements?! This place is terrible don't ever go here! This isn't the 1st issue I have had with this lady either. She is always so angry and rude and disrespectful everytime I am there. I definitely won't be going back

Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to. Wish I could rate them less than one star. They rarely answer the phone, the staff is rude, and it takes foreverrrrr to get your prescription. Would rather wait an hour at Walgreens in Eugene.

The pharmacy is very poor at customer service. I dropped off a prescription for my wife on Thursday mid day and was assured it would be ready by 5pmAnd it was not and they told me to wait until they had the other customers taken care of before they would come back and complete helping me. I left unhappy. They told me they would order it and have it Friday. I called Friday morning, I was put on hold before they even asked what I needed. Then after being on hold over 5 minutes I hung up and called back once I went into the black hole of voice prompts. When I called the third time I talked to the manager of the store. Ellie was helpful and went back to see what was going on. They assured her that the prescription would be in by 2pm on Friday. I came in at about 2:10pm. To my dismay I was told they had to order it and it would be on Saturday after 2pm. I then insisted that they get Ellie back there. She was also surprised to hear this. I insisted that they call and find it at another pharmacy. They finally did and now I’m going to pick it up at a competitor pharmacy. Thankful for Ellie doing her best to resolve this and for her making it right the best she could. However I’m pretty sure I’m not going to use the pharmacy again. I don’t need poor customer service.

Nicholas at the pharmacy is a saint. I had a medical issue right before I was to catch a flight. I was very panicked about getting there on time, so I had my prescription sent to this location to try and save some time. Unfortunately, they were slammed, nicholas was on the phone a majority of the time helping customers, and told me they were pretty backed up so it would be a couple of hours. I explained my urgency and he said they would do their best and 5 minutes later it was filled. Thank you so so so much.

Worst customer experience ever! Luckily, there is a new Caris Pharmacy in the mall across the road, which took care of my vaccine needs very efficiently in about 10 minutes. Save yourself the stress.

This place is an absolute joke. Save yourself a headache and go anywhere else. Worst experience ever.I am going to edit my initial comment. The lady at the counter was nothing but apologetic and she had nothing to do with this situation. My comments are absolutely 100% not directed at her. I feel bad for her as she has to deal with problems on a daily basis that are way beyond her control.With that being said I'll never again step foot inside the Junction City Safeway.

Always late, even when physician requests urgent fill. They don't even start on an Rx that was called in until you go in to pick it up.The only thing they do quick is make up excusesfor why they didn't do their job. I've had it. I'm switching back.I can get faster and better service 15 mile from here at Fred Meyer.

I have never had such a hard time getting a prescription the staff is rude you will wait what seems like forever they can’t get one prescription right and it’s not worth the time anyone reading this go anywhere else but to the Junction City Safeway pharmacy I have never had this bad of an experience to get medication
