There scammers, when it says buy 2 get 2 free for pop 12 packs . They gave me 1 free charged me for 3 at $9.95 each and gave me the water free saving $4.49. What's the water have to do with the pop it doesn't say anywhere. Scammed for $5.

I would give 0 stars, I was accused of stealing by the deli staff. Completely ruined my day and ruined any desire to continue my shopping. Just mean and accusatory. And completely untrue. Didn’t even accuse me “nicely” they were just plain mean and didn’t give me a chance to prove I wasn’t stealing.

pictures speak for themselves i think. These coolers were updated fairly recently and already they're letting mold grow on the ceiling! I've accidentally purchased MANY spoiled items from this location, they are terrible about removing expired products from their shelves. Always check the dates here! Severe staffing issues as well, and its been this way for over a year. At least half the gas pumps closed no matter what time of day it is, and the deli has a 50% chance of just being closed at 5:00pm because they don't have enough staff to keep it open through dinner time. Maybe if they raised wages they'd be able to get more staff!edit: these photos were originally posted 12/31, as of 1/9 the mold is still there, nobody has done anything despite the copy paste response to my review from the company

Update; I HAVE to give 1 star. I Went in tonight 5:40 Friday 12/1/2023 I know it's been 6wks, however I don't live in Junction city & I've had to work extra to cover my rent. Managers left at 5:30 tonight so I have to return tomorrow... how much does a customer have to endure to get customer service at this store. I feel I should be compensated at this point. Tomorrow is Saturday- do I really think there will be a manager? Winco on Coburg rd is an extra few miles but they've earned a new customer!*** original ***No response is expected cuz it's long & hits on a few negatives.I've had food poisoning for almost a week. On 10/17, I stop in for lunch meat from the Deli. I was informed he just cleaned all the blades & wasn't slicing anymore. If I wanted deli: he pointed to the ready-to-go display. Not particularly happy I proceed to look through the selection. I find a package of Italian trio [pepperoni, salami & provolone]. I know I should have paid attention to the package but because the deli guy made it sound like he'd just prepared them & I was there late the night before & there wasn't any ready-to-go, so I figured its all good & stocked now. Well, the 19th I opened the package & made a very small sandwich 1 slice of each meat & 1/2 slice of cheese because it was too thick for my liking. Within an hour, I'm getting sick. At some point it hits me to look closer at the package... the SELL BY DATE 10/15/23. I'll warn anyone I see at that ready-to-go area to drop it & run! I payed $11+ to get sick as a dog. Previously (about a month) I went to the meat dept. & wanted a couple of steaks. The guy tells me the packaged meat is fresher! What?? The prices are ridiculous & they want you to sign up for their rewards plan. I monitor what I buy & it sure isn't something I want a store to monitor for me. Besides the program is a scam... raise the price then slap 'on sale'. It's unfortunate Junction city doesn't have another store to maybe keep this Safeway from taking advantage. What store has parking lot construction in front of the store & provides NO disabled parking at either door. I think that alone should get this store a hefty fine. I gave 2 stars- 1 star for just having a store here. 1 star for the manager that at least made me feel like he'd say something. No confidence that happened but I'll get my money back when I'm well enough.

As with anything some Safeways are way better than others. This one was a good one. The customer service we got while checking out was great! It would be great if all stores had the same layout but unfortunately that is not the case. This is a nice sized store. Found everything we needed and a few other things that were not on the list.

Great wide open store. Great variety of food options. Not much you can't get here from gourmet food to snacks with dairy and bakery and deli and meat counter. Has a large pharmacy and bank. Great small town grocery store!

These donuts are normally $2.29 a box. I buy them every week for my dad. So they double the price and call it "buy one get one free". In reality, they are forcing you to buy 2 boxes or go without. I'm really starting to resent this store!!

The influx of crime and parking lot defecation has affected this store but once inside it (in contrast to the restrooms which Id avoid taking a child in to entirely) is clean and for the most part the employees are helpful (depending on if they have basic knowledge of stores layout).

Prices are extremely high. I compared two name brand cream cheese and off brand and the price difference was $5! The container size was the same. Everything in this store is expensive. It is kept clean though

Green Mold on the ice dispenser. Whoever is in charge of the fountain drink should do a better job at keeping it clean. I can't imagine how bad is where I can't see, like the kitchen.

I'm a 65 year old elderly disabled lady and I pulled up to the diesel pump. And they refused to pump my diesel I went into the store to see the manager left my phone number and he still has not contacted me.

Really busy on a Friday afternoon. Don't like Safeway, haven't been to one in over a year. But was looking for grapefruit juice! None at Fred Meyer or 2 other stores. Why not try Junction city Safeway? They had some! Nice positive trip to Safeway.

The Safeway store in Junction City is a good place to shop for groceries and pick up prescriptions too. Safeway is currently the only pharmacy in Junction City but they are quick and efficient. They remodelled the pharmacy during the summer and it looks awesome!. There are some self check out aisles but also lots of cashier check stands too. There are bags available for your groceries, paper or plastic, in case you don't bring your own bags with you. Customer service is open until 8pm for your convenience and it is very helpful. You can get money orders, cigarettes and other small items from the customer service department which is easy to visit right at the front of the store. The store is located on Hwy 99 with lots of parking.Delivery or in car pick up is available if you like those options..

This is one of the worst run stores I've ever shopped at. Let's start with the fuel center. It is always under staffed. They like to block some of the pumps creating long lines and wait times. One day after work I decided to go later to get gas, hoping to avoid the lines. I went back at 8:45 to find they had one person working, only 3 pumps going, and it took 20 minutes to get gas. Now the store. No matter what time of day I shop, the shelves are always gutted. I've been there on a Saturday at 8 a.m. and the shelves were ripped. I've been there at 5 on a week day and the shelves were ripped. Management is never anywhere to be found. The staff is nice enough. I now shop at Costco and the new Winco across the street. I get my gas at Costco. I'm done with Safeway. I can't wait until another store opens in the area so I can avoid Safeway permanently.

Now in the later part of the evening. It is now self check out. I refuse to use self check out. So unfortunately I ended leaving a basket full of groceries there, easily $200 worth. Then drove to Fred Meyer about twenty five minutes away, and got my groceries.

Great store! Friendly staff, great selection & quantity of everything!! Great prices, really nice produce section, clean store and easy to navigate. The bakery is my favorite plus you earn gas rewards which saves me@ the pump!

Today, this store was a little disappointing for it's overall product availability. However, the most disappointing was the cashier.She was extremely disrespectful of the supervisor who was trying to be helpful to her. NOT OK! I prefer to bag my own groceries and when I stated (4 times) that I'd bag them, she refused to let me, until the supervisor told her to let me do it.They have a knack for bagging too heavy, squishing bread and breaking pasta. This is why I prefer to do it myself.She is new, but that is no excuse for her coming over and whispering to me about the supervisor, refusing to allow me to bag, then ignoring me about a sale & charging us $30 more than she was supposed to, AFTER I showed her the sale amount on my phone. As a result, Customer Service ended up refunding $30 to us!Since Albertsons took over Safeway, the people that are hired are not trained as well. I like my Safeway store, for how much longer, I'm not sure! Some things are improving, most things are getting worse!I will continue to shop here, as it is the only choice for a big, local grocery store. Should the service continue to degrade, I may find that a longer commute or just doing without, would be worth not going to this store.

Well plenty of parking. Easy access to the front door. Handicap parking is right up front as soon as you pull in it's on your left. 4or8 spots for handicap parking. And the store is sooo down home! We hope this place stays stuck in the past. The smells of cooking foods,and cakes, ❤️💜💙 so reminds me of my (GRANNY'S HOUSE).❤️💜💙💜🤗💋✌️

We come here weekly and spend good money. Never enough customer service people in any isles to help nor is there ever enough checkers. Standard time is usually 15-20 minutes for checkout at very obvious busy times. We have started driving to Eugene because at least when we spend money it’s appreciated and the customer service is good.

The store is always clean. Deli workers are always helpful with a smile. I'm a frequent shopper here, and have never had a bad experience. Can always depend on the workers to be there when needed, and 9 out of 10 times it's a quick and easy shopping trip.

There is no organization or structure here. They have 3 isles for Juices and one of them doesn't even have juices in the isle. The workers don't help very often either and typically give you incorrect information. The parking lot is very hard to get into and confusing with multiple spots for accidents. Lines are always long due to slow cashiers. They have multiple lines open always, which is great but they are still extremely slow. The customers are also extremely spacey and demanding at the registers and hold everyone up. Some sketchy characters here. Wouldn't ever come here unless I had too.

This older lady was helping me, I believe her name was like Sharron. The person in front of me had no problem getting help from her. Got his meat and went about his shopping. After, I stood there for like 5 minutes before she looked back to rudely say, "Can I help you?". She didn't say anything else after. She didn't smile or no small talk. But, the person right after got helped immediately. She was super happy to chat with them. I hate to assume it's because I'm darker. This is my childhood Safeway. I KNOW THERE'S POC WORKERS IN THIS DEPARTMENT TOO. Imagine how she is to them.

I like using my rewards and I like getting cheap gas with my rewards card. Today it was 1$ off the gallon. Pretty cool. Plus I like the size of the store. I don't have to work for hours in there. And the carry most of the brands I like. Overall it's convenient for me.
