Owner rides a horse to work everyday. His thoughtful and respectful help with my gear was appreciated. He and his wife run the adjacent jewelry store. Both are great at what they do.I bought some locally tied flies that were quite effective on the local waters. Met a guide there who was purchasing a couple of rods for customer use so the shop is supported by locals too.

What a wonderful experience. While on vacation I stopped in to buy a few small items. After about an hour and a half I walked out with more that just a few small items. I received a knot tying and free casting lesson outside on the lawn. I told the owner up front that I was an absolute beginner and he took it from there and was great. I was even invited back in the next few days for a refresher or to add to my newly acquired skill. Their customer service is great. I would highly recommend visiting this shop.

Awesome little shop. The place is well run by a very knowledgeable gentleman. Happened into it by chance with my son-in-law and the older gentleman took him outside to show him proper casting technique. Helped me pick out some choice flies for my next trout outing.

Great experience, they were so helpful in getting all the right gear and showing us some local spots. The owner even took some time to show me some knots I was having difficulty with. This was the best experience I’ve ever had with any fly shop. Worth stopping to check out.

Wonderful shop keep. Went in a beginner with old gear in a box looking for advice.Took his time and helped set me up without up selling me on a thing. Would have walked out under $20 if I didn't buy a case and hat.He gave me a few lessons, patched my gear up and sent me to a lake where I pulled the biggest rainbow trout of my life.Thanks Bob.

This store is great, I walked in just to check it out. Told the owner Rob that I wanted to learn fly fishing. He stopped everything he was doing and took me outside with his pole. Showed me the basic and let me practice in front of the store. I was sold. Great little store in joseph

Rob, the owner, is amazing. He really knows his stuff and is a patient teacher. He's helped my dad who's been fly fishing his whole life and taught my husband and I how to tie knots and cast. Plus he knows which fish are striking what in which rivers and lakes.

Would give it less stars if possible.Went in for some information about local fishing options, and was looking for some basic supplies. the guy working in the shop seemed bothered that I would come in and disturb him during the day. Don't go here. The sports corral down the road knows as much as the guy in this place, and has way better service.
