I was desperate for help getting mats removed from my 107 lb, 11 month old, Black Russian Terrier who had returned from 8 weeks training with an open wound on his neck and mats on the side of his face, his chest and belly.I called Dapper Dog and spoke to Jennifer about my situation because my previous groomer went out of business and I didn't know where to turn. She was so kind and understanding about my predicament. Given the time of year I couldn't hardly believe it when she said they could squeeze in Karma at 7:30 a.m. a couple of days later!I took in Karma and he was happy to see everyone. When I went to pick him up a couple of hours later he was still his same old happy self, and he was absolutely stunning looking. They were able to remove all but a couple of small mats (which they kept out to show me) but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. The transformation was amazing and I couldn't thank them enough for his positive attitude upon pickup.I highly recommend them for both their high quality of work on Karma's coat and for their handling of Karma as well. I wasn't sure how he would react after being treated so badly at the board and train but they obviously made him feel safe and happy during his stay.If you have a dog that needs groomed then give Dapper Dog a chance. I guarantee you and your dog will be happy with the finished results 😊

I am so impressed by this pace! I love that they only take one dog at a time! They are really careful to make sure you get the cut you want for your dog. Becky was so good with Cooper even tho he was being a pill. I would highly recommend this place!

What a great experience I had at the Dapper dog in Independence! Alex, and Alexa were so kind, and professional! They got my 13 year old lab feeling so confident! He even had a little pep in his step getting into the car! My 8 year old German Shepard usually needs to be muzzled as he will sometimes get uncomfortable, but the groomers were SO gentle, he was able to be pampered without a muzzle! Thank you so much for loving on my pups and getting them nice and purdy! 10/10 recommend Dapper Dog for all of your grooming needs!!

We used Dapper Dog as our pup’s first ever professional groom. Maple was a COVID puppy that has been apart of our family since 3/2020. She has been with us pretty much 24/7 since she came home and has separation anxiety. The groomer communicated well, arrived early after checking with me to make sure that worked and provided amazing customer service. Maple came back clean, smelling amazingly, feeling soft and fluffy with cut nails and clean teeth. They did amazingly well with Maple’s anxiety all from a van at my home while I was able to work.

We had the best experience with Dapper Dog. We contacted them by text for an appt and they replied within an hour with availability and pricing. They did such a phenomenal job. Our boy friend is 12 years old and can be very shaky. She was so great and patient with him. He looks like a little gentleman! :)

We used Dapper Dog grooming for the first time today and they did not disappoint with our mini schnauzer.The cost was more than I was use to but the level of professionalism was something I have not seen before. Every FB message, text etc was promptly responded to, they were on time, they finished him sooner then expected and there’s no wait time (kennel time). Our dog was in and out within an hour, it was great. He also wasn’t nervous when leaving which has always happened in the past (shaking). Conrad is looking forward to going there again.

This was the best place ever! It was nice and clean, and they did a fabulous job with my 25#, 6mo old Australian labradoodle. The groomers were so nice and friendly and made sure they knew what kind of cut I wanted, showed me pictures of what the cuts looked like. It was Cooper's first full groom and I was so pleased! I liked that they don't crate. and they send a text 15 minutes out

After spa day the get handkerchiefs around they're neck but today I turned them around they're so cute and clean and smell wonderful. They do an amazing job with the pups who are scared of the dryer and are super patient. Thank you for all you do for my pups. We are appreciative

My girl was a tad bit nervous about me leaving her, but she was thrilled when I returned. She was clean and happy. Her nails looked great, her breath was nice. She was snappy-clean and fresh. The humans were friendly, kind and very relaxed with her. The space was cheery and clean. Not overly distracting for my pup, and felt open and airy. I was able to park right in front of the business, for free. They texted me 15 minutes before it was time to pick her up. Overall this was a great experience for both of us and we'll be returning cutomers.

Jennifer and Lori are amazing, they’re both such sweet people! Lori was the groomer and made my dog feel comfortable even though he’s a very nervous dog. He had to unfortunately get shaved because the last place i took him didn’t groom him correctly, but Lori was still able to make him look so cute!

I can't lie - I love scruffy, rascally looking rescue dogs. Jennifer gives Jax just the right amount of manscaping to retain the rakish look the girls can't resist. He's even been known to flash his pearly white teeth as he exits the Dapper Dogmobile after his manly spa treatment of a bath, trim, pawdicure, and tooth brushing. His little buddy, Toby, prefers the full treatment and I hesitantly agreed with Jennifer's recommendation to cut the curls. What a difference it made - Toby went from disheveled to dashing! Now he's low maintenance and stays mat-free between visits. When the bus turn into the driveway, these boys run to greet Jennifer - after all, who can resist a little pampering without leaving home?
