We booked two nights in late March and stayed in the Ranger tent, and it was great experience! It is a bit chilly still in March so just come prepared, but the king bed has a heating pad, so that helped keep us cozy and the propane heater also helped warmed up the tent well, we just didn't keep it on all night. The river runs behind the tents so you can hear it all night, it's so peaceful and serene! There are a couple trails from the resort that you can take to get to the river, easy for kids too. Bathroom/showers are close by, and the shower has hot water, a big plus after a long day of hiking/exploring! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming; Seth checked us in at arrival and is very knowledge about the area and gave us good insight on what to do/see. Closest eateries are about 9 miles away, so either pack some food or you can grab some snacks, coffee, drinks, etc., from the store located a short walk from the resort. We fell in love with OR and will be back again to continue exploring, maybe do some white water rafting in the summer!

We had a great time! Not too far from Diamond Lake Resort! Close to a large amount of trails and waterfalls, plus hot springs nearby! The site and campground were clean and well kept. Showers were hot and bathrooms heated. Our kids LOVED the loft in the cabin. The store closest to the resort was awesome! The clerk accommodated to us one night staying open slightly later so we could get snacks for our crew because NOTHING really is close by for food.Nearby activities: Hiking, waterfalls, hotsprings, snow

This is a winner. Wife and I stayed in glamping tent in chilly early April. Clean, comfortable and warm. Nice amenities.Restrooms and shower also clean with nice hot water. Many amazing waterfalls nearby. The team there clearly takes pride in their work - it shows. We look forward to our next visit.

We had a great stay. The place is well laid out with lots of little touches. We all slept great, the coffee was really good, the showers were really good. Most importantly the staff was superb. I would love to come back when it’s a bit warmerNoteworthy details: There is a small market next door but otherwise you need to bring your own easy food

Great place to stay. I return there every year and always enjoy my stay. Staff is the best, courteous and will assist you with your needs. I always enjoy the improvements they make over the years. This time I used one of their RV sites but have stayed in all the cabins over the years. This is a good get away regardless of the season.

Everything about this place is awesome! It is a must see stay location off 138 when adventuring in the Umpqua National Forest. The staff was amazing, the cabins adorable AND comfortable, and location so convenient. The cabins were equipt with everything we needed (next time we'll pack lighter camping gear!).We had an amazing time and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

My partner and I stayed in the cutest little cabin and it was a magical time. The camp host greeted us and was very friendly during check in instructions and showing us around. Everything was so well thought out and convienent- they provided paper bowls/plates, utensils, a lighter, easy to buy firewood w fire starter kit. The room was so cozy and well heated. It was a nice plus that the campgrounds were 420 friendly. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and fall trees. Clean bathrooms and showers, can’t wait to come back!

While I had stayed at Last Resort and previously had a positive experience, most recently, I stayed and my friend was closing up the tent when it ripped easily with barely any tugging. The hole was quite small and did not affect our stay in any way. We could zip the tent, the tent stayed warm and no water entered the tent. We told the owner and offered to pay to help patch it up as we were uncertain whether we caused the damage or not considering it ripped so easily. It seemed to have caught on something when trying to close it. A couple days later, I received a bill for $3,300. I tried to make an appeal through Airbnb and asked if we could buy the owner a hand sewing canvas repair kit and pay for labor to repair it but he refused to pursue that option and claimed the tent was unusable and he needed a whole new one. Yet, the tent was still available on Airbnb and renters still writing reviews showing the tent was still being used. He admitted to tearing the tent further himself in his own response to my review on Airbnb and that our initial tear was not even that large. He ordered a tent with a receipt for approximately $2100 and yet somehow Airbnb agreed to let him charge me $2,977. I do not know what the extra cost was for as this was never disclosed to me. This whole experience has been very shady to me and I feel taken advantage of. I am happy to pay some money for the damage that occurred and it’s repair, but the owner took advantage of the situation and the request was unethical and did not match the damage that occurred. I will never stay here again. The photos provided are those from the owner. This is what he wanted to charge me $3300 for.

Spent the night in a large galmping tent with wife and toddler. The atmosphere was quite romantic and the provisions were more than adequate. When we had a problem with the heater at 10pm, a camp attendant responded to our problem and fixed us up in minutes. No complaints. Will visit again and tell everyone about them. Thank you Last Resort!
