I'm going to give this another go, and maybe the owner won't leave a rude response this time....Stopped for gas as this appeared to be the only place to stop while driving through the national forest. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Be prepared for a small service fee if paying by credit card.

Very nice stop on your trip along the 138! Make sure not to miss it or else you'll be waiting a long time for the next opportunity to grab a snack or some gas. Friendly staff, fair prices.

Not just a gas station, The dry creek store also includes a breakfast and lunch deli. Felt like I was treated like a king to breakfast. Never quite felt like I needed to make a review for a gas station store, but it’s just that good. Hope they get a sign that says, “Deli, Gas, & Good Service”.

Good food, decent gas price, good service. For being the only store for awhile they have really decent prices. I was really surprised to see the gas was a decent price as well.

We used this store/deli multiple times a day on our 3 day Turkey Hunting Trip. Great selection for those things you forgot! The Breakfast Burritos and Sausage and Biscuits. Great family business, very friendly! We will be back!

Definitely a wonderful little spot with everything you need for a great camping experience! Their philly's are delicious and the people there are incredibly kind and knowledgeable! They sell really affordable diesel and unleaded, so be sure to top off for the long journey!

Basic convenience store and camping / hiking supplies. Very expensive prices, but that’s expected for such a remote location. The only outgoing USPS mail drop off in this part of the Umpqua River Valley.

Fantastic little store with pretty much everything you could need (or forgot). The "welcoming committee" is the best. The biscuits and gravy are must have whenever visiting.

I love this place when I come camping on the river. They are always so nice and helpful; whether helping you find an item or the next place to adventure in the area. They got any item you forgot such as a sleeping bag and even some air mattresses. All in all one of my favorite little stores in all the west.

For being a small convenience store in the middle of nowhere they have great selection! Loads of food and beer, and very friendly staff. And the gas prices are cheaper than in town! Keep up the good work!

They've always been amazing whenever we visit, clean, organized and have pickled eggs for my girlfriend. While a tad bit pricey it's understandable due to how remote they are. Glad there is a professional and clean store out in this beautiful area.

These guys always give great service. Update on my review. I lost my wallet on the way out of town for a trip. I stopped in and explained my situation and asked if they would take a check in exchange for cash. They graciously helped me out. Just want to give these guys two thumbs up and thank them again.

Such a great store. Spent the weekend camping in the area and made a few trips to this store. Everyone that helped was super nice and the store had great inventory. Looked for aluminium grilling pans in another supermarket and none of the employees could find them. We came here and they had 3 different kinds. Keep up the awesome job!

Friendly staff. We bought plain sandwiches from the fridge and they offered to add veggies and condiments for free! They also have anything related to camping (air pump, camping equipment, survival gear) it's basically a mini sportsman's warehouse with a 711 and it's awesome. They recommended a few local places and we had a great time!

We were very thankful that this very "little quaint shop" exists. There is absolutely nothing around if your staying anywhere in this area. The men that run this convenience store definitely take pride in it. They have a little bit of everything including gas. They are very friendly, items are priced fairly and as mentioned above, you will see the pride the moment you walk in.

The people that run this place are super nice and they put thought and care into everything they do. You like WANT to give them your business. Thank you, thank you, thank you for being a light in the darkness. I accidentally bought something there that I didn't need, and I took it back, and I didn't want my money back, but they offered. And I said, no. Please let me have some other things, though. And it was just so cool that they offered and even put a sign up so that others would not make the same mistake. Bless you, Dry Creek people.

Steve and Nancy are simply some of the best people I have met while out fighting fires. They opened early and stayed open late for us. They stayed and served the firefighters inspite of the danger to themselves. Thier prices are fair and the fresh food they make in the store is to die for!!! Thanks guys for all you do to help your community!

History! It's more than a store and a few houses. Talk to the store owner discover the pioneer story. This wide spot in the road is in the Umpqua River National Forest and a 3 days horse and wagon trip east of Roseburg for supplies.

Very nice place. Let us use their phone to make a call because there's no cell service and we were having vehicle troubles.

It's a great little gem out in the middle of no where. Only store between Idleyld Park and Diamond Lake. The guys that own it are great. Only place to get gas too. Definitely a great place to stop when exploring the Umpqua National Forest

Dry Creek Store is a little store 47 miles out of Roseburg. It's closest store is about 30 miles away in Idleyld Park, and further than that if you are heading towards Diamond Lake! The store owners are very friendly guys and try to provide as many things as possible for your fun adventures out in the wilderness. Camping gear, grilling gear, snacks, hot food, beer, gas, and even some fun branded shirts, hats, and sweatshirts!Every time I go up to their store to stock up on camping supplies I forgot or didn't have room to pack, I usually come out with several more things that are either fun (like the powder that changes the color of your campfire flames) or something I didn't think about (like sunscreen or bug spray).Scattered throughout the store is paraphernalia pertaining to the history of the store. An article about the first owners and a picture, or even more recent events like the fire that nearly burnt the store and local community down. The owners have done their best to keep the history of the local area alive, yet leave their own touch on the place.

Sweet little pit stop on the waterfalls scenic highway. A little over priced but these friendly folks need to make a buck. I'm sure during the winter they see no business, stop on in and support a nice little ma & pa shop!
