Had a lovely tasting here on a very hot day. Our server was delightful and knowledgeable. All the wines were nicely made. The patio is a comfortable place to sit, even on a warm day. Highly recommend a visit here in the beautiful Hood River valley.

We stopped at this vineyard on a tour from Portland to mt.hood and it was easily one of our favorites! Their lunch options were so good… charcuterie boards and different sandwiches. They had great views and alpacas in the field in the back! They accomadated our larger tour group so we could all sit together and chat which o thought was a very nice touch rather than us spreading out in our smaller groups.

This is a unique and charming winery. The setting is lovely with a gorgeous outdoor patio area. You can sit under a trellis covered in grapes. Stroll down to the pond and watch the Llamas grazing. Go indoor in the their tasting room for a flight of wine. There is a boules playing area. There are grapes growing nearby. There are even a couple Moai statues near the vines. The kids found the area fun to hang out in. The wine tasting can be done indoor or on the patio. The wine selection was quite good and the pour are generous.Price of a tasting was $20.Parking is free and there is lots of it. There is food available. We got the cheese and cracker platter which was very good.

Wy’East Vineyards was on our list of places to visit and we are so glad we did! They have a fairly large indoor tasting room, but I can’t imagine it gets used that much due to the abundant, gorgeous seating that’s available outside. There are seating arrangements under a trellis of grapevines, seating nestled in the garden off the deck, and plenty of seating for couples or groups on the deck. It’s a very peaceful, chill place that had a variety of very tasty wines. We should know we tried 2 different flights. There’s a flower garden you can pick from, but this late in the season they were mostly picked over. Did I mentioned THEY HAVE ALPACAS?!Just a note: they generally don’t have food trucks during the week, mostly Fridays-Sundays. So call ahead.

Had the most amazing time here. The view from the their back patio with the alpacas will keep you coming back. Their Rose Pinot Noir was one of the best wines I’ve ever had. Also, the $20 tasting fee is waived off if you buy a bottle. The staff was amazing. The veggie sandwich from the food truck was one of the best veg sandwich I’ve had in the US. A must visit!! Can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I stopped here on our trip from Harrisburg, PA end of August. The ambiance was very nice. 4 stars because the woman who helped us was pretty aloof, maybe having a bad day. Expected more welcoming customer service.. Other than that nice place to relax with some wine.

The winery is my favorite winery period! The staff is so kind and so knowledgeable about the wine. It is a family owned winery that works hard to be approachable with great wine. Also the price of their wines and wine tasting is incomparable. It is dog friendly which is so great! So bring your own food or check out their new food cart addition. 1000% recommend a visit here.

Very beautiful winery and great wines. The outdoor seating area is large and comfortable and provides many different types of seating, including more secluded, quiet areas. The outdoor seating area offers a view of a pasture with alpacas and it's so fun to watch them while enjoying a glass of wine (and so fun to pet them afterwards as well). The staff is friendly and kind and were fantastic about bringing us the next round of wine in the tasting at a great pace. Wonderful experience!

Great place to taste some wine on a nice day. An expansive deck wraps around the tasting room, offering sofas and comfortable arm chairs in abundance. The wines were all delicious, especially the reserve Pinot. It's hard not to buy at least one bottle here. The owners were exceptionally friendly and enjoyable to talk to about the history and process of their winemaking. With a location right off the main road from Mt. Hood to the Columbia Gorge, there's no good excuse not to stop by!

As new Hood River residents, we have made wineries part of our weekend excursions and Wy'East is easily one of the best wineries/wine clubs in this area. Their offerings are excellent from the delicious wines and member benefits to the Wheels food truck on the grounds serving incredible charcuterie boards, sandwiches, and other fare. The property is spacious and feels very private for small parties as well as accommodating for large parties, and often at the same time. From Hood River it is an exceptional (e)bike ride along East Side Drive with a very short cycle on 35. In the winter, it is a great place to stop after a day on the mountain. Family-owned and very, very welcoming!!

The hoagie from the food truck was out of this world. The rosé pinot noir went down smoothly. Highly recommended! Great space with awesome mountain views too!

Such a delightful spot to spend an afternoon wine tasting and enjoying the delicious food at the food truck Wheels just a short walk from their tasting room. Definitely a stop to add on your wine tour through The Gorge!

Wy’east and The Wheels food truck hosted our wedding welcome party the day before our wedding and they did a great job! They were able to accommodate roughly 60 people. We ordered food ahead through the food truck and order a bulk amount of wine and it was a great way to kick off the wedding festivities.

I saw this place on the way to the Mt Hood viewpoint so we stopped on the way back. They have only five wines to taste (one white, one rose, and three reds) and you get them all in the flight. Of course the flight fee is not charged if you buy a bottle. They have several nice areas in the back to sit and enjoy your wine. And you can watch their alpaca graze. She brought each generous taste out to me on the patio as I finished the previous one. It was truly enjoyable.

Excellent range of unique wines, and service was exceptional. A good option to include on your tour of the fruit loop.

We were driving back down to the path from Portland to Boise after a stop at Mount Hood when we saw a wine tasting sign. My husband and I both announced to the family that we were stopping, as I screeched my brakes to make the turn in time. When we entered the cozy, inviting space, we were greeted promptly. The woman helping us explained how they do their tastings and offered to let us sample there or out on the back patio. We opted to stay inside, as we only had a few minutes. We tasted 3 wines and purchased two. These are so smooth! They are clearly under priced. We learned about a grape variety we had not known about and managed to find a unique wine for a dinner party that we know will delight our guests. We will be back!Update: I came back & purchased 6 bottles today. Wy'East is still a stunning, cozy stop. It was even better than I remembered!

Fantastic venue for a party! We had a large group of family and friends at the tasting room and had a wonderful evening. Behind the highway-facing tasting room lies a beautiful deck with a rural view of the east hills. Inside, the tasting room is cozy and comfortable, and the wine is excellent. We had nice weather and moved freely from inside to outside through a wide open doorway and with a portable speaker there was even some dancing on the patio. Jen and staff provided the greatest hospitality.

What a cute little vineyard! The employees were very kind and accommodating. We had a reservation and were seated outside. It was a bit chilly on this particular day, and they had blankets all ready for us alongside a heater. Our server was knowledgeable and polite!

I loved the red wines and the upgraded funky fruit stand ambiance. Wy’East is on my must-visit anytime I’m in Hood River list, and next time we’ll play bocce.

Second time in. First time, it was a very friendly vibe. This time around, I didn’t feel as welcome. Wines were briefly explained - really was just told the year the grapes were planted. I noticed others were getting a more descriptive tasting experience. Overall, after a long day of hiking, it was nice to just sit and relax in the outdoor patio. I left with a bottle of their red blend. I’ll definitely return but would encourage a little more friendly service!

Relaxing, low-key winery. Plenty of outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Wines tasted good to us! Can bring your own food and watch the alpaca graze while you sip your wine. Pro-tip: tasting fee is waived with bottle purchase.

Beautiful outdoor seating options (under cover or out in the open). Bocci ball courts, alpaca's, food truck...they also brought the tasting flight out to me so I was able to sit and enjoy my book while I did a tasting! It was lovely.

I don’t typically love Chardonnay but found their version to be delightful. They had great descriptions of all the wines we tasted and friendly service. Also a nice deal in that they’ll waive the tasting fee if you buy a bottle. Will be back!

We were looking for a kid friendly spot to relax and do some tasting. We found many on the WA side didn’t allow kids. This spot was not only amazing wine at a solid price point (we liked everything we tried and grabbed a couple bottles) but the staff was excellent and the location had beautiful flowers and alpacas, which was a hit for the toddler.
