Our visit was geared toward the little one getting to pick fruit. Cherries, and raspberries were available. An activity they had done a year ago and remembered it well. We were only expected a farm environment but we got as well what fantastic ciders to taste, good food, gorgeous views, lovely grounds and picnic areas. This place is fantastic.Lots of parking. Highly recommend the cider tasting flight. If you pick fresh fruit it does get pricey quickly but the cost is similar to fresh fruit in the stores.

Whether just visiting Hood River or are a local you must come here! Very friendly service, the cider is very good! The food truck has amazing food! Taco Mondays are my favorite! Their tacos and everything Jack makes is so delicious! I love that you can also bring our doggies. Such a fun and relaxing place. I highly recommend them!Vegetarian options: On taco Mondays they have the best veggie tacos I have ever had!! So good!!Parking: There is plenty of parking and it’s free to park!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly. You can pick fruit with them or pick beautiful flowers.

Gorgeous! I liked it very much. We came to pick cherries. The berries are very large and tasty, the trees are very close to each other and not quite tall, it is not very convenient to pick them. Blueberries are very tasty, medium in size, a lot of small ones, but the season has just begun, maybe later it will be larger. Beautiful fields and a beautiful view of both mountains. Lots of places to eat and delicious food. There were enough parking spaces. We will definitely come back for other types of fruit. Thank you!

Beautiful place with amazing views! I did a wine flight which included whites & reds, along with a personal charcuterie box. I am typically not a fan of sweet wine but theirs was so light and refreshing! I loved the perfect snack sized box, the wine, ambiance and the peaceful vibe. I highly recommend this place! Don't forget to check out the fruit stand and u-pick flowers and fruit!

We went to the Gorge Whitehouse and got the cider flight (couldn’t recommend it more!) — I was blown away with how delicious and unique each cider was. This was honestly the first time I’ve loved every beverage in a flight. The white peach was just phenomenal! I love how they laid out the farm with relaxed apple/pear picking by the picnic benches. I will definitely be coming back here for the cider 🍎🍷

We visit the Hood River area quite a bit through out the summer and fall every year. We usually stop here to refill the blueberry cider- our favorite! We often bring friends here as well to pick fruit, the strawberries are incredible.. we've never eaten here but have seen long lines on busy days. There's also only 2 bathroom stalls here fyi. Dogs are welcome in most of the grounds and parking can get a little dicey on super busy days.

My girlfriends and I came here on a beautiful sunny day on a wine/cider tasting adventure while I visited from out of town! This was our third and final stop and we were so fly impressed by the cider flight and food cart.We put in our food order first (around 3:30pm) and were told a 45 minute wait. The guy that took our order had dozens of orders and he remained so calm, collected, and friendly, and we were totally fine with the wait! All 6 of us got the cider flight and paid $15 each. The glasses and display are gorgeous, the flavors are great (my favorites were the blueberry and watermelon), and the service was good as well! The property has a bunch of flowers and fruits, wonderful view, lots of seating!I ordered the Turkey bacon sandwich and loved the how crispy the bacon was and all the fresh veggies that it came with. The turkey was thick and juicy, it was overall a great way to end our day! Will be back asap!

We loved our experience here! We picked berries and cherries and had a blast, then sat down for a cider tasting. My only complaint is that the ciders aren't distributed nationwide so I can get them back in Texas!Parking: Gravel parking lotKid-friendliness: Plenty of fruit picking for the kids!

Such a beautiful pet-friendly stop for a cider flight ($15) and a farm fresh lunch ($15). They have u-pick flowers and fruit with views of the hills and the vineyards. Staff was friendly and prices were reasonable. Food can take a little while but we loved every bite. The White Burger is delicious!

The Gorge White House is excellent all around. It’s a can’t miss destination on the Fruit Loop: beautiful flowers, perfect produce, and the food, cider, wine, and ice cream are all the very best in the area! The employees are helpful and easy going, willing to answer any questions and patient with our little kids. We visit the area once a year from Colorado and The Gorge White House is at the top of our list every year!

The Gorge White House is a really beautiful estate with you-pick, a “café” (food cart), wine tasting room, and ice cream. You can pick cherries, blueberries, pears, strawberries, flowers, and more (depending on when you’re there and how good the growing season has been). It’s an incredibly beautiful location with amazing views of the mountains. I highly recommend you check them out.Note: the cafe can have wait times longer than an hour at peak times.

Stopped by this place during our recent trip to Hood River. This place serves one of the best hard ciders I have had apart from wines, farm fresh food, fruits and flowers. We got here after lunch so directly ordered the tastings and chose to buy a combo of wine and cider tastings. For the hard ciders, we ordered the orange, lemon pear, mixed berry, honey lavender. For wines, we ordered cab sauv, pear wine and rose. Honestly, we loved all their ciders way better than the wines. Amongst the wines, the pear wine and cab sauv were really nice. The rose was interesting. From the ciders, the orange was my fav and the rest were right up there. You get amazing view of Mt. Adams and Mt. Hood from their parking lot. They have huge farms as well and can grab some fresh blueberry and cherry while you are here. They have a food truck out there serving some food as well. All in all loved this cider house and winery and will come back again for their ciders.

This is such a picturesque vineyard if there ever is one. I’m not a huge hard cider drinker so it was nice to sample a couple of them as well as wine. I brought my teen so I definitely didn’t want to be inebriated. The view is gorgeous and the seating areas are all unique, outdoors. We came within a half hour of them opening and there was only another couple sitting outside. By the time we left, the place was filled.I chose this place as they also have a U-pick farm attached so that the kid would have something to do with me and not just watch mommy have some cider. The bountiful blueberries, raspberries, pears, peaches, nectarines, and apples were a delight to look at. We only wanted blueberries so those we picked. They were pretty good size compared to another farm we visited and super sweet. You can also pick the seasonal flowers that they grow.We also ordered from the “truck” on site. We shared the caprese sandwich (well the kid ate most of it) and the abundance of tater tots that came out crispy and flavorful. Considering I think we were the 1st to order food and pretty early in the morning, we got our order in about 15min. They also say everything is made as ordered so expect around 15 minutes for your order.I would definitely return to this vineyard as it’s definitely family friendly and yet beautiful. The background looks like a picture and it’s easy to sit, sip and just take in the sites.I suggest going early as closer to lunch had much more visitors where all tables were taken (there’s a lot too).

Cider was really good. Enjoyed the flavor, lavender honey, the most. The food truck was too popular though--there were only a couple of tables of guests, but the wait time was already as long as 45 minutes. Very beautiful scene with the elegant white house.

I think this is the best ciderhouse I've ever tried. All of thier ciders were so smooth they just simply tasted like fresh pressed juice. That locally grown fruit from thier farm really makes a difference in the quality. They'll even mix the ciders for you. And recommend mixes to you. Which was also nothing shy of amazing. Great views from all angles. The gift shop with Everything else fresh fruit, jams, snacks to takw home with you as well. Food cart out front was producing fabulous food. Everything fresh and super tasty. If you're in hood river this a must go to place.

I'd give it 6 stars if I could, this place was great. Amazing place; the food, the drinks, the fruit picking and the beautiful views are all worth the trip. We went on a busy Sunday, at noon in July. The guys at the food truck told us that it was an hour wait if we got something off the grill. So, we ordered the 3 flatbreads, which only took 10 minutes, and were super good. We had some wine and cider, which were both delicious. After lunch, we picked blueberries and blackberries, which were in season. The price was very affordable.

I don't give many places a 5 but this place deserves it. The food was amazing. It took a while but was so worth the wait. The wine and beer tasting was amazing. While we were waiting for our food we walked through the gardens and sipped on our wine and hard cider. This place is such a jem and I will be back.
