We were walking around Hood River and decided to stop here for ice cream. This place has a great selection of ice cream with some unique flavors. I love coffee ice cream and I appreciate that they had four different coffee flavors on their menu! Also, THIS ICE CREAM SHOP IS CASH ONLY. They do have a sign out that says they will still serve you and you can mail them a check later if you don't have cash and I wonder if anyone has ever actually done that? It is cool that they will serve you regardless. There really isn't much room to sit inside the shop but they have a very large patio with a decent number of tables. It was a nice day out, so I did not mind being outside. If you are walking around Hood River, OR I would absolutely recommend stopping here for a sweet treat!

Ok if you like ice cream then this place is the way to go. The ice cream is fantastic here. Best in Hood River! I will miss it very much now that we don't have a vacation home here in Hood River anymore. If I happen to be in the area visiting I will definitely stop by here.

What a quaint little ice cream shop! It was a busy Sunday and people kept coming to order their ice cream. We enjoyed the flavors we ordered and the seating area with kids playing in the wall tree house/playground structure. The employees are nice and keep a smile on even when they are all busy bees working. It’s cash/check only so come prepared or they have a sign telling you to order and mail them the money later. There’s a nice little park located right across the street on a hill to seat and eat your ice cream. Will definitely come back whenever we are in hood river.

Nice little ice cream shop in Hood River. Make sure you bring cash because they don't take credit cards. I ordered the brownie sundae which comes with chocolate sauce, whip cream, brownie pieces and three scoops of your choice of ice cream. Go check it out!

Best ice cream I’ve had in Hood River! Of course, I’m from Ohio so it’s the only ice cream I’ve had in Hood River. But they have your essential flavors plus a few more. The service is great. They only take cash but as you can see in the picture they are understanding of you non-cash carrying people these days. The outside is very quaint with a little treehouse for kids. And they allow dogs!!!

We really enjoyed this place. It's only open a few months of the year, summer time. Location is great, staff is awsome, and most of all, every single person has the ability to enjoy icecream.. see pictures.

I asked a relative that is a denizen of Hood River to recommend an ice cream shop as a group stop-over during a drive to Mt. Hood. Wow! Mike's is a hidden gem of Hood River - a "boutique" ice cream shoppe on par with the small family establishments that dot the Oregon Coast. Friendly, efficient service. Try the banana ice cream if it is on the menu (scrumptious). A nice treat any time. Who remembers "I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream"? And please bring cash.

Best overall ice cream experience. We have a salt and straw in our local neighborhood and the total cost to bring a family of 5 is a material total. Bringing 3 boys here for ice cream with the $2 baby scoop keeps us coming back far more often than other like service providers.

Our absolute favorite thing about this experience was the tree house! The kids loved it, and as a parent, I loved having a place for them to play that was safe and isolated from the other customers. The service and ice cream were great as well!

I've always loved this small ice cream shack and always go there. I generally get a peppermint or pistachio bowl. Service is quick and friendly. Their ice cream isn't as flavorful as say Tillamook, but it is creamier. The only bummer is that there isn't flavors listed outside, as some people dither over flavors like their life depends on it.

Most underwhelming shake of my life. The line was very long so you'd hope it'd be worth the wait but definitely not. The huckleberry shake was incredibly pale which almost made me think they messed up my order but then you see the chunks of huckleberry. It was runny yet you still couldnt sip it through their collapsing straw. It also fails as a vanilla shake since it mostly tasted like chilled milk.

I am absolutely upset how the young woman snapped at my guest from the midwest. The icecream was good but this young lady needs some retraining. I usually ignore bad customer service but this young lady made the sweetest person I know cry. Hopefully this is not a reflection of where this company is going. But we've always gone to Hood River to get ice cream. I am deciding on whether to post this on my page where we post our adventures. My guest just went to the window to see if it would be much longer for her shake to be done as we all were finished with ours and hers hadn't come. If the tip wouldn't have been for everyone I would have asked for it back.

Cute place, but only 1 dairy free option for ice cream and it's not even ice cream, it's sorbet. Overall it was a good experience. I recommend this place because they had a decent selection of ice cream flavors for those who can have regular ice cream
