One of THE BEST toy stores I've ever been in! Amazing selection of all sizes and prices. Good quality items, fun items, and such a variety! My son and I loved looking at everything and had to go back the next day to pick up another item. If you're even in the Portland area, take the time to head out to Hood River and stop at this great toy store. Nothing in Portland like this shop! We took the CAT bus out and stayed at Oak Street Hotel. What a fun mini vaca!

On Tuesday my husband and I walked into the store looking specifically for a brown chihuahua for our daughter. We explained to them that in two days we had to have our brown chihuahua put down and how sad our daughter was and that she wanted the stuffed one to help her not be so sad. Not only did the young lady working go through all the stuffed animals right away and find the perfect one she was so sweet and kind. There was a gentleman working as well and he showed us the same kindness and compassion. Told us how sorry he was and wished us well. Based on their actions alone we will recommend them to people we know and we will definitely shop there again.

My family used to have a vacation house here in Hood River. Unfortunately they sold it for a beach house which is sad but at the same time it's nice because it's closer to where we live but everytime we visited Hood River we always stopped by this toy store and love it very much. Definitely recommend if u visit Hood River and love toys.

We went into the store on March 29th and purchase a National Geographics Geo set priced 24.99. When I paid with credit card, I was told it did not go through because they couldn't print out a receipt. So they asked me to swiped the credit card again and assured me that they would refund me if I got charged twice.I later found out I did get charged TWICE from my credit card statement. So I contacted the store on April 2nd and no response as today April 27th.

This delightful little place is one of my favorite shops I've ever been to, of any variety. They've got something for all ages from baby to adult, books and puzzles, beautifully made plushies, dolls and Legos and so much more. You can tell the owner cares about the quality of the products she provides. You could find a gift for anyone who loves toys or cute things here!

What a great store! This store has an excellent selection and their staff is friendly and VERY helpful. I was in Hood River for a business trip and wanted to get my kids a present. The staff was great and helped me pick out presents my kids really enjoyed. They showed me combinations of toys I wouldn’t have thought of on my own and their gift wrapping is top-notch.

My favorite toy store and wonderful crafts for kids! It is my go to place. They do the extra mile and wrapped my presents! Many items are sturdy and all are well made. Can find those pretend dress up outfits too! If you’re in Hood River stop in and take a look. I have been going there for many years and find new toys as my grandchildren and great grandchildren grow.

Perhaps one of the greatest toy stores you’ll ever set foot in. G Williker’s is more than meets the eye. It is an establishment with heart and soul, the people here will find you exactly what you need, wrap it beautifully if you’d like, and give you advice on where to eat. It is a delight for all ages and a necessary stop when you’re cruising downtown Hood River.

I am picky about my game stores. A collection of stimulating amusements for all ages is my big win. And NO a colorful plastic giraffe is really not my idea of an awesome toy store.This place is an absolute unexpected WIN. Stimulating amusements for all ages. Even better. The amusements are well thought out and cross very large age ranges.I was not expecting my hope in toy stores to be renewed in Hood River, but, there you go. Awesome and thank you!!

We love this toy store! They have so many amazing toys. We were very surprised and excited to see they sold brio train sets. Didn't think they made those anymore! My husband has his original set from his childhood. It was great to find we could add to it. I was excited to find calico critters! Most stores have very few items in store. This place had a great variety. There are also alot if great books! We always stop here whenever we pass thru Hood River. Just don't forget you have to pay for parking.

Rude employee who "loves to cause problems" with customers. My sister and I brought our niece and my daughter for a fun shopping spree here. We walked in from the busy street and having been there before, were focused on not having the 2 year old bolt for the stairs. An employee (younger, shorter in height, dark curly hair, eyelashes for days, pretty girl, minus her attitude) quickly, loudly, and rudely reminded us of our masks, ok we put them on. She then went back behind the counter with her coworker to loudly discuss how she "loves being a problem and starting issues with people." Why do you work at a children's toy store if your goal is to "be a problem" and "having issues" with parents trying to support a local business during hard times? The selection is good, the prices are a litte higher, but its a specialty store, not walmart. However, it's supposed to be about the fun and experience. I love the store and wished the atmosphere was more like how it was before. Dissapointed.

Who doesn't love a great toy store?! Maybe the Grinch....this place is so awesome. Kids can get hands on with just about anything, love the trains and track for the little ones to play with downstairs. They have everything from educational to, ride on, throw at, bounce on toys, books and cool stuff for your walls. Love this place!

Great little toy shop for kids of all ages! Staff is friendly and helpful. Their selection is fantastic, with many less-common toys, craftsman type toys, and educational toys. My wife and I return here regularly and there's always something great for the kids we're shopping for.

This is a great place to buy unique and well built toys for all ages. They are locally owned and go out of their way to help you give a gift, gorgeously wrapped, and one the children in your life will cherish. From small things to yard toys and games, I have never been disappointed shopping there!

This is a nice little independant toy shop in Hood River. It's not a big chain such as Toys 'R Us and as such prices are a little higher. There isn't anything too unique, however, which is a shame. It is great to support small local shops, but there really should be a draw that is provided by the store. Just buying standard product and marking up prices doesn't provide a significant enough pull.

While wandering around Hood River my wife and I discovered this wonderful toy shop! When walking in you are greeted by all of your dearest childhood memories available for purchase! As my wife and I browsed through the store we found the number and style of toys available to be great. They had toys the could literally appeal to any age. They have a fantastic selection of legos. It looked like most of the popular sets are available. I also enjoyed seeing the same Jack in the Box that I had when I was a kid. Downstairs they had a great variety of board games in a solid selection of children's books. On this particular day it was neighborhood toy store day and they had free donuts, cookies, and prize giveaways. I had the option of either a $20 lego sets or play horse hoofs from fat brain toys. As a big fan of fat brain toys, I got the horse hoofs for my kids. This place is awesome! I look forward to stopping here each time we are driving by. You should definitely check it out! You won't be disappointed in the high quality toys they have available.

Cool toy store to walk around. Very cozy feeling. They make use of every square inch. And I like the feel of a basement full of toys. Its a bit pricey though but I guess that's to be expected in downtown Hood River.

They obviously delete comments. I saw 2 comments like my previous one and now they are gone. They are completely rude in this store and have super young power tripping boys working here. I’ve been a long time customer of this store, but the last time I visited, the boys behind the counter were not friendly and only cared about the power they seemed to think they had over me. It would seem this small business would care about revenue, but it is clear they do not. I won’t be returning.

They have 3 separate rooms, with plenty of toys for younger children. Everything is a bit pricey but all high quality.
