I bought a pair of Birkenstocks here while I was visiting from out of state. The fit wasn't right for me, and even though I had worn them for several months, they sent me a new pair (actually twice since there was an error in the first replacement). Their return policy is amazing, and their staff went above and beyond. Thank you, Footwise. I'll definitely buy from them again and would highly recommend 👌

I’ve been in here 3 times since summer and will never be back. First off, NO AC. During the heatwave, the employees and customers are forced to shop/work in an environment where there was no AC. I could only handle being there 10 minutes until I had to leave due to the heat. I couldn’t imagine how the employees had to feel. I wrote a note and dropped it in a feedback box in hopes to get some ac in there for customers or employees. Obviously nothing worked. The employees although sweating their tailbones off were extremely nice. Especially employees Talia and Justin (hope I got their names correct).Despite the horrible work conditions, they managed to keep a smile and not complain meanwhile more than one customer in there at the time kept on saying something. Although not their fault and a situation they were unable to control, the 2 workers continued to apologize to everyone. I managed to get my pair of work shoes and left. The 1 star is for poor management. The 3rd time I went in was in November. I was greeted nicely again by an employee, but another worker was there I never seen before. I felt very uncomfortable being around them, as I could see them glaring and staring down at the other employee. They talked to me nicely but then turned around and talked down to the nice employee when she didn’t do anything. I asked for a manager because to me, this behavior is uncalled for. Especially in front of customers and making them feel uncomfortable. I was shocked when I was told she was the store manager. Maybe she was having a bad day? But still no excuse to take it out on an employee. Another horrible choice from the higher ups. Not going to give them my business as they don’t care about employees.

This is by far the worst store here in town. I had placed a special order for uggs on a Friday and I went in the following Tuesday just to find out they gave my order to another person. Very frustrating for sure, lady didn’t even bother to make something work or order again didn’t even APOLOGIZE! Very upsetting for sure!

Just bought my third pair of shoes from here. The customer service was fantastic. The lady who helped me knew her stuff, and she has a cute dog. I tried on lots of styles and she helped me with multiple sizes. I feel that the prices are quite high, but my need for quality shoes and help fitting them finds me here. I do wish they had thrown in the pair of socks I used to try on shoes, but alas, that's not policy. It's all good. My feet will be happy and I'll go back someday!

The staff are amazing and really know their stuff. The female staff member spent probably close to an hour helping figure out what type of shoe I needed to help my feet not hurt. I am a health care professional and am on my feet all day. I really appreciated the time and knowledge from the staff member. I am very happy with my two pairs of shoes I purchased. Keep up the great work!

Always a good experience at this Footwise. The sales staff is pleasant & don't seem to mind me sending them to the back room for yet another pair of shoes to try. This trip I went after a pair of wool slippers! I came home with a pair, too! I also found out that they carry some styles Birkenstocks in narrow width! Next trip!!

I came to Hood River to get my first pair of Danskos for work. The sweet young lady with the cheek piercing helped me out, and explained how they are supposed to fit (I had no idea). She was even kind enough to give me the 10% off. They had a huge selection of all different brands, and next I want to get some of the sandals! Thank you footwise!

I love Footwise stores. I have been to their Eugene location and now their Hood River location. All of their stores carry fantastic foot wear. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. They take time to find what fits your foot well. And they know their products. I can't say enough about the quality of the products. I adore Alegria, Dansko, Keen, and we found a new favorite OluKai.I highly recommend Footwise Hood River, they served us even when we arrived ten minutes prior to closing. Thank you for providing such great customer service!

I wear a larger size shoe, and this store specializes in having plenty of stock of larger sizes & wide shoes. Hooray! Love the sales lady helping me get the perfect Keens sandals that I couldn't find anywhere else. I'll be back.

I went in to Footwise on the hunt for a specific shoe that I wasn't able to find anywhere. I am in love with the Coronado but it seems like they quit making them. I asked the woman at the counter if she could order me some. Her name is Kat (not just a cool name but a very cool woman). She told me that I couldn't order them but she started to do some searching. It was looking like I was going to have to search for another shoe to fall in love with. All of a sudden, after much searching, she found a pair that was my size. One pair in the entire world and she went above and beyond to find it for me. I was trying my best not to squeal and jump up and down. I just have to say thank you so much. It wasn't the fact that I got my shoes that really mattered, it was the fact that she did everything that she could to find me that last pair with determination and a smile on her face. Thank you Kat!!

Quality of the shoes is nice, but nothing special. I wanted the custome service to rock and for them to help me find the best work shoe ever! The shoe is mediocre, as was the customer service. Disappointing.

I had gone in to buy the same pair of cheap flip flops I buy every year knowing that I will destroy a pair every year and they convinced me to buy a $90 pair of sandals because if "you pay a little more, they will last longer." When the sandals broke not even half way into the summer (not lasting as long as the cheap pair I normally would've bought) I went back to return and/or exchange the pair I had gotten. They wouldn't exchange the pair, offer to fix them, or give me any money back and were incredibly rude about it being my fault that the sandals broke. I will never go to this store ever again.
