This was a great Walgreens because they had so much. I was looking for the NYX products and walked right by the wonderful display that was in the front. I think I was so mesmerized by all the products in the beauty section. I also found a wonderful soap pouch that I have been looking for to give as a gift. The staff were nice greeting me and asking if I did need help . Thank you all for being so helpful tonight.

This location pharmacy is the worst. Waited in line just for pick up and the person working there says it'll just be 10 min. Turns to be an hour of waiting for them to fill my prescription. Then went in for passport photo to be taken. No one working the photo area. A guy walks by says he'll be a min. Waited 30 min and still haven't came back and there's a full line of people waiting to check out. Just left to another place. This location needs to staff better.

The pharmacy is extremely slow, only one person was working that time . Often 1 day or afternoon hours. The store cashier is often missing- the staffing seems very low. It will be fine if they have self check out .

Currently having an awful time with the pharmacy. I understand they're short staffed, but waiting 24 hours for a pain related medication and antibiotic submitted by an immediate care facility with no communication in regard to a delay is just bad business management. I have tried calling the store to inquire about a timeline and sat on hold for over 30 minutes as the "next" caller in line. Again, I understand being short staffed but, being in the business of customer service, actions should be taken and prioritized to communicate with your customer base as to how this lack of staff will impact their experience. Am going to have to drive over there in order to get any answers which is inconvenient, and also adds to their in store volume/line, which I see has been a consistent issue with other customers as well. If you're in any kind of urgent need for a prescription, take your business elsewhere.

I have been going to this pharmacy now for 20 years and haven't had many issues. However, over the last year, I've frequently run in to the pharmacy being closed during posted open hours. For example, on 12/8/2023, I was in a line of 5+ cars waiting for the drive-thru to re-open after their posted meal-break of 1:30pm-2pm. At 2:30pm, the Pharmacy still hadn't reopened and we all gave up on it.

Always closed unexpectedly. Last week they were temporarily closed for no reason for two days. Yesterday they closed early unexpectedly at noon because their registers were broken. Today the pharmacy is only open for drive through and the line is giant because nobody can get their medication.This place needs to get it together! RUN dont walk.

I have encountered many problems with this pharmacy. They are short staffed and have long wait times. My medications are never ready on time and the pharmacy is always randomly closed during regular business hours. On my most recent encounter I got in line at the drive thru at 9am when they open. Had 5 cars in front of me and waited 45 mins without moving. I got out of my car to walk up to the window to see why the line wasn’t moving, the window was closed with no posted signs. I called the store to ask what time the pharmacy would be open today and the clerk said no one showed up to work in the pharmacy today so they will be closed. At this point the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. They had no posted signs to let us know that they were closed. This is a holiday weekend and people need their medications. Very unprofessional and I will no longer be using this pharmacy.

I've been a customer of Walgreens for years, but the NE Cornell location in Hillsboro is a disaster. It is truly bewildering how poorly run and operated the pharmacy is. I have never successfully filled a prescription here without some sort of issue. The app doesn't work and you can't get a live person on the phone if you try to call. They are severely understaffed at all times, the staff always seem to be fighting for their lives or have fully given up. I've started transferring all of my prescriptions to a different pharmacy, though its is a PITA to do so. My advice is to steer clear of this location and go literally anywhere else.

Horrible pharmacy and horrible customer service from the store. Tried to pick up a prescription from inside - they have the pharmacy as drive thru only due to short staff.. which it’s been short staffed for a while now.I’m in the drive thru from 2:10-2:35 with no one helping the person at the window. Their lunch break started at 1:30 and is to end at 2pm.I called the store manager to question whether or not there was someone in there. Thinking maybe their break was delayed? She was incredibly rude and told me “their break is over so there has to be someone in there, just be patient”… when I asked her if it was possible to double check that there was someone in there, she gave me attitude and repeated herself.. but the person at the front of the line has been waiting nearly 30 minutes to be helped? It’s ridiculous.

I used to like this Walgreens because the service there was way better than the Chicago Walgreens locations I used to go to...but today's interaction with the Photo department changed all that. Standing around for a few minutes until anyone bothered to ask what we needed...one of the employees finally bothered to ask what we needed. We asked for Passport photos and they said once the man at the kiosk (who didn't even look like a Walgreens employee) was done with his current task he would help us out. Waiting another five minutes he got up from the kiosk and started to take out the trash. Suddenly another customer arrived with a pickup for his passport photos and that same employee started to help him. I mentioned that we were waiting ahead of him and the original employee mentioned that he would help us as soon as he was done. Not sure why he was the only one who could dispense passport pictures? We said thank you and walked out of the store, taking our business elsewhere.

An appointment here means only the right to stay in line. When one makes an appointment, one expects to be done in a reasonable amount of time, not to wait for who knows how long

2nd review, this one I’m waiting in hold for a pharmacy employee so I can refill some prescriptions. This is made necessary because Walgreens changed their phone renewal procedure. I’ve been told numerous times now there are more than 3 calls ahead of me.if I could get a doctor appointment before the weekend I’d be using a different pharmacy. This place has gone to the dump.

They are consistently understaffed and often have to have drive-thru only for the pharmacy, or are just closed during normal business hours (not including the 1:30-2:00 PM lunch which is normal at all pharmacies). This is unacceptable. This is a very walkable neighborhood with many apartment complexes nearby. It used to be extremely convenient. What about people who don't drive? I'm sure this all points to a staffing issue, but regional and district leadership need to do something about this and intervene. This Walgreens does not serve its community well. Figure it out!

Update 12/11/23: They are not answering phone calls due to lack of staff per the pharm tech.Update: the pharmacy closed early with no notice. I spoke with someone at the storefront and the pharmacy will be having random business hours for the foreseeable future, with opening and closing times being unplanned and random.Who knew one could be on hold for over 1.5 hours during business hours, with the voice reminding you of that fact every 15 seconds, while also knowing you're the next call to be answered since it also tells you where you are in line? I'm actually still on hold, while "staff is answering other calls. Please hold on. We'll be with you shortly." Will they answer before they close in an hour? Doubtful. I'm even returning a call. I've been considering moving my prescriptions and this may seal the deal.

I call to ask if my prescription is ready, I get a robot to talk to instead of a person, and it refuses to transfer me while it demands I talk to it more first. After I eventually manage to communicate with this unholy simulacrum of a person, it says “normally I’d transfer you but the pharmacy is closed right now”??? WHY WOULDNT YOU OPEN WITH THAT INSTEAD OF MAKING ME TALK TO YOU? One star for sadistic robot demon that tortures the sick and those in need of medicine.

Even though the last few weeks have been challenging at this location due to staffing shortages, I have to give this pharmacy a five star rating. I have gotten my prescriptions at this location for 18 years. The staff have always gone above and beyond in customer service. The pharmacists and pharmacy techs have worked so hard to fill prescriptions and go the extra mile to educate and assist their customers.It saddens me that so many people have given this pharmacy low ratings and have no sympathy for these dedicated employees. Since COVID, the additional responsibility of administering COVID vaccines constantly pulls the staff from their regular responsibilities. I wish everyone could understand what they have endured.Today was my third trip to the pharmacy this week as the pharmacy had to close for a few days due to lack of staffing. Yes, I’ve spent several hours in line this week, but I hope everyone will have a little compassion for what the pharmacy staff are dealing with. This week their internet went down for a day, so the few staff that worked today (one pharmacist and one tech) not only had to take care of filling current prescriptions, phones, administer vaccines, unload a huge medication delivery, fill the hundreds of prescriptions that came in during the outage, but take care of customers in line.I would like to give the pharmacist that worked today a huge thank you. His name is Ben. I got to the pharmacy a half an hour before it was to open. The pharmacist arrived around the same time. After clocking in, he came out and asked what I was picking up. Even though the pharmacy wasn’t open, he went out of his way to make sure my prescriptions were ready so I wouldn’t have to wait long after opening. He also took the time to find a coupon to bring the price down on my prescription that wasn’t covered by insurance. Unfortunately, there was only one pharmacy tech working with the pharmacist, so I know the tech and pharmacist were stretched thin.Hopefully, any pharmacy staff that left over the past few weeks will return. You are missed. I also hope that all customers will put themselves in the place of these people who are working tirelessly to serve you. Please be patient and show kindness during these trying times.

This store has it posted that they close at 12 AM but yet they locked their doors five minutes before. I didn’t think to take a picture and screenshot for a few minutes that’s why the picture I posted says 11:59. They had the doors locked at 11:55. So annoying, especially since I rushed out the door to get here before they closed and I made it but yet they were still closed.

I came here for a COVID vaccine along with Varicella and Pneumonia vaccine. Pharmacy wanted to charge us $5000 (five thousand) without insurance. Got the same done at Costco pharmacy for less than $600 without insurance.

Absolutely horrible.Waited in line for the pharmacy, and they simply decide to shut the blinds and close promptly at 5; this is with at least 8 people waiting in line. Apparently, seeing other reviews, this is quite common. Ridiculous.I will say, the in-store staff were fantastic and helpful. Unfortunately, your pharmacy is poisoning the well.

The pharmacy is extremely slow, the automated system for refills often doesn’t work and in the last 3 months the pharmacy is literally closed during routine hours. Recently 2days in a row due to staffing issues. Often 1 day or afternoon hours. The evening pharmacy hours have been cut back. The store cashier is often missing- the staffing seems very low- I can’t recommend after very poor experiences in the last 6 months

Poor customer service! We ordered our medication four days ago, everyday we called to confirm if it was ready and we were always placed on hold with no one answering- on hold for hours. Today, we walked in and was told the order had been received but not input yet. We notified the tech with inappropriately long fingernails we are completely out as of today and requested a refill for today. We were told she will work on it after she finishes the line. That line does not end as new people are always coming in . A few mins after leaving, we received a text saying the refill was ready for pickup. There’s no way that med is ready for pick up.

They are supposed to close at 12AM (midnight) as you can see on the photo. Last Sunday at 10:10 pm I tried to enter to this business if it can be called like that and I see workers inside but the door is closed and finally one of the employees told me that it is already closed. How is this possible ? I see the workers inside and they just don't offer service. The doors are closed and they don't even say why there is no service or there is a note at the entrance. It is clear that they are not interested in customers.

My script was sent to this pharmacy by mistake. Worst experience ever. They NEVER answer their phone. Staff are rude and disrespectful. I cannot imagine why anyone would CHOOSE to have this be their permanent pharmacy. Absolutely ridiculous.

I wish I could give the pharmacists at this location 0 Stars they're an absolute joke I've never been so appalled at the complete lack of professionalism and work ethic by people in the medical field they have consistently not filled prescriptions I could die without taking on multiple occasions and almost sent me to the E.R. as a result I will never come back here again definitely never fill anything important here if you need it fast because YOU WILL NOT GET IT IN TIME!!!!!! Completely disgraceful

Tinsol was the sweetest! Very warm and kind and funny during the checkout process, I literally left with a smile on my face after a long evening at work. Will definitely keep coming here rather than my regular Walgreens. Please give her a raise!!

Cancelling vaccine appointments twice! It’s already been so difficult to get vaccine appointments and they cancelled mine yesterday and my husband’s today due to “ staffing issues”. Tried to book another one and they dont have any available until 2 weeks from now. This is ridiculous.

One-story, drive up prescription window closed, 30+ minute wait in line, notified prescription is ready but get up to window and it's another 10+ minute wait because it's not ready. No place to sit for 2 handicapped people. 6 employees I'm pharmacy and a trainee at the window. This place is a joke.

Their pharmacy is understaffed, takes days to fill prescriptions, and closes whenever they want. The hours are only accurately posted on the window, not the net, and they change constantly. Lately the drive thru has been totally closed. Last time I picked up my meds after a 3 day delay and then stood in line for 40 minutes risking COVID. I don't think it's the pharmacists' fault, but the company is circling the drain. Steer clear.
