Safeway is made for your convenience, cuz There is a bakery, a deli, a pharmacy,a gas station, a butchery where you can get seafood, etc.The store was extremely clean, which made it easier to shop and locate items faster throughout the aisles. The produce at the Safeway looked immaculate. Prices get even better if you are a Safeway club member. Things are on sale all the time.If you're not a club member, just ask for a club card at the customer service desk.

It used to be an Albertson's store, it has been renamed to Safeway.The store has been remodeled inside out. It has a fresh and gorgeous look. Many local, international, and big-brand items can be found here. Faster self-checkout registers make it more convenient than before.It has a Starbucks bar and a full pharmacy. This store is your one-stop shop for all your needs.

I hosted two baby showers this summer. One for my second oldest daughter and one for my youngest daughter a month later. I always seem to want something very specific for my gatherings, but bakeries seem to not give me what I want. That was not the case at the Albertsons bakery on Cornell and 25th in Hillsboro. Lucy and her team are amazing! They led me through the process the first time I went in and made sure to take pictures of my Pinterest wishes. I brought flowers in to add to the cake and we discussed things further. When I opened the box to set it in place the morning of the shower, I gasped. It was so beautiful and exactly what I wanted! Perfect! And it tasted wonderful. Lots of compliments from the guests. So clearly, a month later when I needed another cake I went back to Lucy and her team. I just missed Lucy upon my arrival, but the lady on staff assisted me, took the pictures of what I wanted mimicked from pinterest, and filled out the form with my choices. I never spoke to Lucy, but she once again perfectly designed the cake and cupcakes I wanted. I have bragged to all my friends and all who will listen about this amazing local option for beautiful and affordable cakes. Thank you so much for contributing to our special events.

I have visit this Safeway on 25th in Hillsboro several times. It's nice store, and like the fact bigger holds more items. So far no issues and for the first time, I used the bakery for birthday cake for my daughter and staff did Great Job!!. I would recommend this Safeway for future shopping.

They took the carrot! Really?!A bit of frosting, that's gotta cost less than a cent! If they're being this pissy about a dollop of frosting you know they're cutting costs in bigger ways to get to this point. Come on guys, it's $4 for a slice of cake and you're going to cost cut this much?To hell with that nonsense. Give us back the damn carrot.

I went to the bakery and was happy to find carrot cake but it was the worst carrot cake ever. Carrots were microscopic. The cake had no texture, and the frosting was tasteless.

I always thought Albertons was like a gas station quick grocery but I was super shocked. They are a full grown store with produce, deli and even cooked options. Prices seemed super reasonable to me and the cashiers where friendly. I'm not sure if this will be my every day grocery store though but was super impressed. They even carry baby products and have a pharmacy too.

This Albertsons is really close to Jones Farm Intel and the Hillsboro airport making it very convenient. I have found the staff super helpful. The store itself is a little old - that is why 4 vs 5 stars. But I still recommend it! I love their beer collection - great micro brews.

Those mug root beers underneath the crush soda were the last ones in the whole store and Eva helped me get them! Buy 2 get 2 free, I neeeeeeded those lol. Thanks so much. Customer service was wonderful! And the woman who was in line 6 that helped me was great too!

Situated in Hillsboro is a nice store to buy grocery, vegetables, fruits, bakery products, medicines and certain household items. The store is very well organized . One can buy fresh vegetables and fruits.

I've been here a few times recently. This is one of the better Safeway's. Store has always been clean. The wait in the grocery store has always been minimal or non-exist.-1 star for the employee Interaction at the gas station. I pulled in to get gas. I waited at the pump while the employee chatted up someone who wasn't buying anything. I had to listen to how the guy was careful when smoking meth because he worked there. After waiting 3 minutes I walked inside and paid. I went out thinking it would get pumped. I sat at the pump an additional 3 minutes before the guy at the counter walked out to pump since the other employee was chatting.Not fair to myself, not fair to Safeway, and especially not fair to the other employee who had a good attitude, was friendly and took up his partners slack. I will report the guy to management the next time I see him (to get name).

Buyer beware!Super disappointed with my local Safeway. I purchased two hair sprays at a Safeway in another city because I was out of town. However, when I tried to return them to my local Safeway with a receipt, they said they could not except them. My items are new and unused with a receipt within the same day, and they would not take it. Terrible customer service.I spoke with the manager at the customer service desk. She was a Asian lady. She said no that they could not refund me. Not even with a receipt.

These are the last 2 cakes I have had done at the bakery. I have been SO tickled with the outcome, they are just great. All I have done is giving the decorator an idea of what I wanted, and this is what she pulled from her imagination. Awesome work!!

Since finding out that I am allergic to dairy, soy and goat products, I have been shoping for plant based alternatives. Nice to see that Albertsons carries brands and options not found at whole foods.

It's going to be almost 100° out today. Knowing I won't want to cook this evening I went in for deli food. They did not plan ahead. At 2pm the offerings are nearly empty. I asked the deli if I was looking in the wrong place and the very kind workers explained that they dont know how to make the sandwiches and platters. Very disappointed and heading to another store to find what I need.

I'm not happy that my local Albertsons is now a Safeway. I know the 2 chains are owned by the same company, but I'm not a fan of how Safeway treats employees and vendors. As a vendor, they would fine you for not taking a customer to the product their asking about and other petty stuff like that. As soon as you walked into the building, you were treated like a thief. They have no respect for employees and vendors.

This store has good quality food. Unfortunately they have labeled the chile de arbol (Thai chili, birds peak chile) as chalica. On my visit today, these chiles were rotten and mold. I kindly told the produce guy to change the label and replace them. He rudely replied "Don't buy them" and walked away.

I came in an hour before closing, and I asked for help finding an item. I was treated like trash. The manager refused to actually show me where the item was, just pointed a finger. She then took my already paid for cart away. Terrible customer service. I will never shop here again.

Service is nice. It's nice to shop at a store where people actually enjoy their job lol. Grocery clerks get irritated with me when I ask to either double bag or request to bag my own groceries. It is what it is but the store is clean the service is friendly and the pharmacy team is outstanding 😊

Albertsons is a good place to get groceries in my opinion. Where I am from, we have Randalls and they are pretty close. The brands they carry are good and there are less shoppers due to the fact that to get better pricing, you have to be a member but it costs nothing and you can get rewards for gas but it's not top tier stuff.

Only complaint is their store-brand bread is the worst bread I've ever bought. It barely holds together when buttering it, the crust falls off in your hand. The buttermilk is disgusting, the white was ok flavor wise & that's the only nice thing to say about their bread(not their bakery bread the pre-bagged store brand)

I went in to purchase 2 plants and looked at my account the next day. I was charged 72$ ! I went in and was told by a very nice manager to call the bookkeeper the next day. I did, and talked to Emily who was very helpful . I was accident charged for the person in back of me groceries. Accidents happen. I was told I would get 50 on a gift card or cazh.cash.. I chose cash. I went in to pick it up as I was told all info was at customer service. The gal working there (Natalia) ?? Was so completely rude I couldn't believe it. She told me that I need to call the bookkeeper.. I told her I did today and she pretty much said .. there is nothing here. She finally looked closer and there it was.. a gift card. I requested I get cash instead as I don't shop there because the prices are too high. This girl made me feel like an idiot. Awful customer service. Everyone else was nice, but sadly I won't be returning.

Albertsons is a very good store! Just hope Freddy's don't get it! They need to be competitive and not monopolize! Always had good service at Albertsons and able to check out at decent amount of time!
