My 15 years old daughter has a snake. His named Basil. One time a week he must eat a frozen mouse. We try to buy it online, other comparable stores but PetSmart is most reasonable price for frozen mice 🐁. I don’t want to touch it actually but I have to pay it so why I be there anyway crews are kind and nice. Just only 2 cashiers in store at weekends. Parking lots are way to busy. This shopping center is always busy day and night so parking is very difficult. And traffic is bad.

Well we brought our puppy here to be groomed based on a previous decent experience at the store, Sam at the checkout was great! but we were not happy with the the experience with grooming.The cut was decent but our pets are like our kids right!We have been going to another Petsmart for grooming in California and loved the experience.Monica spoke to us about our appointment but had a cold personality with us, giving the benefit of the doubt we proceeded.On pick up we were told our puppy was ornery and difficult as you can imagine we were shocked to hear this as we have been told by our previous PetSmart location our puppy was wonderful and easy, the whole staffed loved our puppy.One girl said of our previous groomer “they probably didn’t tell you the truth”That was not an appropriate reply basically saying we were lying to them although she admitted there where no notes from the previous groomer of any poor behavior, as we all know our pets/animals know when someone is or isn’t nice, it’s more obvious our puppy was NOT comfortable with this groomer and most likely was not being handled in a caring manner.Although the cut was decent we could tell our puppy had a bad experience compared to her previous grooming at our other PetSmart location.Our puppy seemed down and took a while to normalize, she seemed depressed.I hope management contacts us as we will be contacting corporate.(Last review)This place is clean stocked well, the staff seemed nice as well.This is a smaller store but didn’t seem short of items to choose from.We will be using the pet hotel and will update accordingly, hopping all goes well.

Love that they have prescription food here and great selections of toys and treats. Always clean and people are nice to my dog.

Nice staff, but I feel like they should be more organized. Grabbed a toy and was told that they arent allowed to sell them since those were the donated ones. Understandable. So I then grabbed the same toy from a different bin after digging for the same one. Then was told that they were sent the Canada version of the toys (which they were unable to sell) and they were mixed in the bunch. It would have saved a lot of time, effort, and disappointment if the staff had taken out the Canada ones.

I come here to get my cats their wet and dry food only. But every time I go (2x's per month) the customer service has always been great and the employees are always friendly. I'm sad though that they discontinued their treat trail program.

I have been to this location for grooming my dog. The experience was ok until my dog met his current groomer Nyah. I was amazed and very impressed by the patience and care Nyah gave to my dog.He was so happy to go there now and does not shed as much anymore. Thank you for taking good care of our baby and we will come back soon!

Kat & Erica helped us so much with boarding our 2 babies. They came back happy and healthy after an extended stay in the pet hotel. They got individual playtime and stayed in a suite. Daily pictures helped us feel connected to them while we were away.

If you shop here don't lose your receipt! If you need to return item they can't look up your purchase by card used to purchase like PETCO can!

(I went for my pet salamander)The supplies are standard in nature, with a fairly large generic selection to cover as many aquatic species as possible(not many specialty items). The fish all look very stressed, with a number of dead ones that hadn't been removed from their tanks. (don't buy fish from here, unless you plan to quarantine them for a month). The tanks and stands are pricey, but look to be decent quality. They have a large selection of tank decor. The customer service here seems forced. Overall, I would visit this store for basic supplies and decor, but I wouldn't buy fish or aquariums here.

I buy the Fresh Pet dog food located in the big refrigerators. Today I was dismayed to see 3 of the Fresh Pet rolls with a sell by date that expired 2 weeks ago. Selling Fresh dog food that is actually fresh should be a priority. Always check the sell by dates.

I always go here for pet supplies. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. However we went there today(1/26/19) around 7:30 and encountered the most rudest sales associate ever. We wanted to buy some fish and basically she was yelling at us because I told her that we have a 15 gal tank and wanted to purchase 2 angel fish as a temporary setup. Other customers were staring at her for being so rude. I feel like that she shouldn't be working as a sales associate. In case if you are wondering, she is the white lady with a bump on her left cheek (sorry, I didn't catch her name).

We had a rude encounter with a grooming tech, over our malamute. They looked at him and instantly thought he was a wolf dog, we informed them he is mostly Alaskan malamute and we think German shepherd mix.

Really liked the layout of the store. Seemed much more organized than the competitor. Grooming is also very reasonably priced and if you want, they have add ons that allow you to pamper your furry family member. Everyone was friendly and able to answer any questions we had

My grandson and i went to buy crickets for his frog. The employees were very nice abd treated each customer with resoect and dud ni rush them. Very nice atmosohere.

Usually go to this location for our aquarium needs and had issues in the past like a fish dying once we got home due to a completely inexperienced employee who had never worked with the fish, but tonight was ridiculous. We get there at around 7:50 to look at the fish, an associate knew we were there, we were looking for about 20 minutes before calling the person for that department over to help us. She comes over all ready to help then finds out we’re grabbing multiple and then says they can’t get fish in the last hour of being open. Called a different store they said they don’t have a set time for that and they’d do it up to 15 minutes before closing. I will not be shopping here anymore :)

I am absolutely disgusted by the care of the fish at this store. I purchase a lot of items from this company, but am now planning to take my business elsewhere.During my visit I found 2 dead betta fish in filthy cups, 3-5 sick bettas in filthy cups, and any “healthy” bettas were obviously not being cared for and were also in FILTHY cups. I only took a picture of one of the fish, but the other dead fish was a red veil tail.When I brought the dead fish to the staff and asked for a manager, I was treated very poorly. When speaking to an associate and to, who I’m assuming was a manager since they never introduced themselves, they literally took the dead fish from me and walked away without a word. There was no, “thank you for bringing this to our attention”, no telling me how they were going to help the sick animals, no telling me how they would improve care in the future, nothing.I am so sickened by the cruel conditions this store is allowing these animals to exist in and the extreme lack of care from the staff. The customer service and overall experience today was absolutely appalling.

My golden retriever gets groomed here. He always looks so handsome after, and smells so good! Ivy is the most amazing groomer ever. After searching for a place to call home, for ongoing grooming, we have found it at Petsmart Tanasbourne! ❤️

Unfortunately, I was greeted rudely. I came in to have my dogs nails trimmed. The lady at the main counter in the store was very rude and short with me.The ladies in the grooming department were very nice.

Not happy with grooming results. My dog’s fur was dry and hard. It looks like the end of her fur was burnt from the blow dryer heat that could have been too hot. Her legs and feet smelled like they have NOT been washed. Her fur had not been brushed. It was looking raggedy and standing up all over from the blow dryer. Her fur looked very dry, burnt, and felt hard to the touch. I had to brush her right away when I came home because her fur looked like she just came out of the dog park. It doesn’t look like they brushed her teeth either. Looks like she still had the same food spot on her upper molar. I brushed her teeth when I came home and was able to remove them. I am very disappointed of my first appointment with the Petsmart grooming on 185th in Tanasbourne/ Hillsboro. I will not come back.

Brought my super anxious terrier pup here for training. Trainer Becky is absolutely fabulous! Clearly knows her stuff but to see her in action with all the various dog tempers and emotions is extraordinary! She is a true dog whisperer. My pup was hooked on her by the end of session 1 in the beginner course. Looking forward to intermediate classes starting in a couple weeks. I’ll also be using the dogggie day care services…will be sure to share that experience in reviews, as well.

Bought prescription food that was out at every other location nearest me. Drove 45 minutes out to be told they didn’t have the food I had already purchased and that I went to the wrong Hillsboro location….Drove to the other location and they sent me back to this location where they had my food the entire time. Not sure if they just have a poor system or just don’t thoroughly check for pick up orders.

This review is regarding the groomers. The I took my little dog to the groomers for a nail trim, ear cleaning and toothbrush. I made an appointment.When we arrived, I guess whoever was suppose to groom our little girl had to leave early and could not do her, so the girl that was talking us looked back and the other 2 girls working and said if they could do it, what was really rude is one of the girls with dark hair and glasses looked annoyed and said "I guess I could do it if I have to." Now, who wants someone like that to trim your baby's nails?Thankfully, the one helping us said that she would do it. Whew! right? Then we were told they had no toothbrushes so they deducted $4.00. So we left our little dog with her and walked around the store. When we picked her up the young lady said that she cut her while trimming her nails. She bleed. That was so upsetting. She didn't offer a discount or anything. I have to say I wish I read the reviews before I took my lil girl there. They obviously don't care about customer service and more importantly, about the pets they groom. So, beware.

They offer a wide range of pet supplies for any pet lover and the adoption program that PetSmart offers is quite wonderful! However, some of the areas the store has are quite lackluster. The fish section, for example, is atrocious (especially the poor Bettas). I wouldn't recommend getting a live animal here, as they aren't very well taken care of, nor would I get any live plants for fish tanks either. The live plants can have some unwanted guests that may or may not be good for your tank. Food, toys, and decorations are pretty safe and fun for your furbabies though! If you need a quick structure or some food, you can get them right here for a decent price.
