Parrot Cabana Is a place that sells exotic birds. The shop also sells panty a bird supplies. I asked when They usually get birds in, and they said that they usually get them during the Spring and summer seasons. Inside the shop was a little stinky.

The people here knew their stuff and had an amazing deal for us to be able to bring home our new feathered baby. They allowed us to visit many of the green cheek conures to find the perfect one for us to bring home. They had affordable carrying cages for us and made sure we had information to be able to contact them if there were any questions or concerns with our new baby.Thank you so much for your patience with all our questions and allowing us to visit multiple birds for us to find our perfect one.

Parrot Cabana 1/20/2024Throughout the week, I had been periodically visiting the store because I had wantedto see what things they had for sale. I arrived during business hours and there had been attimes a sign saying that the store was closed and a will return sign, with 12 as the return hour.One day I went and the sign was up, they were closed. I returned after 12:00 and the store wasstill closed. After waiting several minutes I assumed they probably weren't going to return.I went periodically and saw the sign appear and disappear throughout the week, though the storerelentlessly remained closed, without any notification that they would not be opening.Today, Saturday, I walked by and just happened to be there when the owner drove up and opened thestore. She and another woman told me to wait while they prepare the store to be opened. I waitedwhile they did something inside. Finally, they invited me into the store.I felt shocked after seeing what was inside. The floors were covered in animal feces and some sortof pellet looking material. There was, what appears to be, a white cockatoo, of a small variety, in acage by the window. Around the bird's cage the floor was covered in its feces. The bird has apparentanxiety issues as it has plucked feathers, bald spots on its body. Inside the store it's extremely loud,there is some sort of small parrot that has quite an enormous squawk, and it seemed not to quit. Down acouple yards or so, and to the left, there was a room full of large parrot cages and large birds. I sawthe giant macaw parrot standing above its cage, shivering with was seemed, in my opinion, to be theresult of health issues it's facing. The store was in squalid condition and many obvious signs of animalabuse/neglect. The birds cages are very close together and the small environment could be causing themanxiety.Within minutes of walking into the store a woman asked me, "Is there something I can help you find."I had the feeling they were trying to say that if I wasn't buying something right at that moment then I wasn't welcome tostay. I made a complaint to the owner about the store being closed, during business hours, throughout the entireweek. She said, "We couldn't even get down here, it has been snowy all week. This is the first time we've been in here all week."This is a serious issue of animal neglect because these birds need their waters changed daily.I explained to her, "The closed and 'will return' signs have appeared and disappeared over and over again." I was pointing out that the notion that nobody had been there didn't seem likely. I walked through the same weather, and atleast in this area the snow was never greater than just a few inches. The notion that it was so bad her luxury BMW was incapable of navigating just doesn't pan out.She then spoke to me in a hostile and accusational tone. It was horrendous, the way they speak to customers.I couldn't believe how terrible this experience was, I felt like she gave me symptoms of anxiety just seeing how she treatsher animals and talks to customers.

It is a fascinating place! Such beautiful parrots and variety of other very cool birds. Not to mention the birds look very happy and healthy, much more than the ones I've seen at pet stores.The owner was very kind and patient with the children we brought in. They answered all questions and allowed the kids to pet and hold the birds. Super welcoming, thank you.

My kids heard the sounds of parrots and have been wanting to go in and see the birds for awhile. Today we finally went in just to look at the animals, which turned into a mini meet and greet experience.We were able to enter the larger room where the birds are held and even got to hold and touch some of the friendlier ones! It was $5/person or $15 for a family which also let us help keep this business open as we are not intending to become bird owners any time soon.It was a wonderful time for us all and the owners were very friendly and knowledgeable. Truly a unique experience for children and adults to share in!

I absolutely love this place ❤️ There are sooo many beautiful birds. Michelle is amazing my daughter and I came in to just look around and we ended up staying for 2 hours we had a blast I know my daughter sure did lol 😆 I just fell in love woth this place and the family

I visited this store and I cannot praise them enough. The family welcomed us in and showed us all their beautiful birds. All of their birds were so happy and healthy. I’ve been to other parrot stores where the birds have been hoarded and looks so unhealthy and sad. But the parrot cabana was different. It brought tears to my eyes to see all of the happiness and love these birds get. I will continue to support the parrot cabana.I showed the owner pictures of my macaws (they are plucking) and the owner recommended a new type of food and gave us samples and honestly I can see such a difference in them. I’m very thankful to have someone I can contact with any questions at anytime that is so educated on these beautiful babies

Absolutely lovely store, wonderful costumer care. And VERY helpful with bird knowledge. I'm new into the whole loving birds thing and came in because I heard the birds laughing and talking. I absolutely love that they rehabilitate some birds and take in others that people can't take care of. I cant wait to adopt from this wonderful family run business! I look forward to returning here and visiting the birds in the future! It's an absolutely wonderful experience and I loved it! And definitely one of a kind shop in our local area 🙂! (Was there 7/13/2022)Edit: I checked into those accounts that left the bad reviews, all either spam accounts or troll accounts unfortunately. They do not deserve the random spewing hate they get. The birds are cared for how they are supposed to and genuinely are caring people. And they are extremely perfesonal in the replys for the responses! Just as I arrived there was a woman surrending her bird (because of personal reasons) and I think it's Wonderful that they take them in. Thank you guys and girls that work there and own the store!

By far the worst experience I've ever had. They keep their birds in extremely poor conditions, claim to be a rescue but don't actually rescue any birds (they just buy them and resell them at pet store prices,) and don't keep food or water with their birds cages. I am absolutely appalled, and I won't ever be returning.Edit: and now, they claim to not be selling birds, even though when I have went, I clearly saw birds for sale. I have pictures of their horrible conditions. They've housed three birds in a much too small cage with no food or water, and now that they've responded this way, I am even more appalled. Usually, I don't post reviews, but in this case, since I'm very passionate about birds (it's my special interest,) I decided to leave a review about this place.

Great place to get a happy, healthy bird. They can answer any questions you might have. They also do tours where you can see some of the bigger birds.
