The chairs on display were different from the ones in the warehouse. We then went outside to look at plants for the yard. And it was obvious no one was taking care of them. They were drooping from lack of water. So, where I enjoy the store for the most parts, thes r kind of items should be addressed.

Most of the staff at this place really needs training. For example, My husband and I went to buy a curved trowel for getting joint compound out of the bucket. Stop by the paint center and asked where we would find such a trowel, and was told they didn't carry any. They even looked it up on the computer, found the item we were looking for, and told us to try Ace Hardware! Well, upon further browsing for other items on our list, we stumbled into Aisle 15, and what do you know...2 entire pegs of fully stocked curved trowels! Had we have listened to the staff members, Home Depot would have lost a sale. Sure it was just one item, But if hundreds of people come in a day and each of them leave without an extra item that adds up to a lot of money in lost sales for Home Depot. Staff training is very important. I have also had issues with the store not wanting to honor the prices quoted online. As a contractor, I take issue with that. I wish there were more retail competition for them in this area, and that all businesses cared more about customers.

Delivery date was today the 15th. I waited a week to get my dryer when I ordered it. I received a phone call today telling me it won't be delivered until the 24th now. I think I should be able to be at the top of the list. That's 2 1/2 to get a dryer. I am not happy will not ever order anything again from Home Depot.

The employees there are always friendly and always helpful! I would recommend home Depot for anyone doing any projects at all!

Arrived in the morning, asked for some help with a large order of lumber. After waiting about 10 mins someone arrived and asked me what I wanted. I explained I needed 15 2"x12"x12' boards, 16 4"x4"x10' posts, 2x6's, etc.. He asked 'you couldn't get a cart'? I replied I thought it was a lot for a cart, he said it was not, rolled his eyes and continued to be rude. He helped to load a few boards then another person arrived (Tyler) who began helping. Employee number 1 left, did not see him again. After loading everything the cart would barely move with two of us pushing. Tyler left to see if he could get more 4x4's as I was one short. I sat a bucket of stain on the cart, at which point it tipped spilling all of the lumber onto the floor. Another shopper and a couple of different employees helped to put the lumber onto two carts this time. None of the employees who helped to load stuck around a second after the aisle was clear again. Eventually I was able to check out. The lady at the register asked if I would need help, I replied that I would please. She called someone, they never came. I rolled the carts outside, unloaded both carts by myself and secured the load. During the loading process I observed a lift truck deliver a small pallet of something looking like shop lights to a truck. These could probably have been delivered in a shopping cart. Earlier I observed two sheets of plywood delivered to the front and someone help load them into a pickup. No help for me and the >$700.00 worth of lumber I purchased that day nor for the $400 I had purchased the week before. Was also great having to work my way around all the personal vehicles parked in the 'contractor' loading area. None of them had a fleet plate or logo. Saw a guy with a shopping cart leave with some short pieces of wood and 4-5 T-posts. Glad was able to use the contractor loading so he did not have to push the heavy (shopping) cart any farther than necessary. Pretty clear that individuals do not rate.

I wish we would have caught the associates name that helped us. Great guy, great personality, personable, friendly and super helpful as we purchased a Weber Spirit E-315 grill!! All employees we encountered were very nice! It was refreshing!!

Did a ship to store, appliances. One came in 3 days early and the store badgered me it had to be picked up nowww. I'm 200 miles away.finally got there the day the other appliances showed up. They only had one person who could run the lift and took some time to get them located. The loading person was awesome. And got it done. They get 5 stars to bring up the overall score.

Nice to have a Home Depot in a smaller town like Hermiston. We just moved from California and it nice to be able to walk into a Home Depot and get just about anything you need.

Poor service. I wanted to buy a piece of aluminum round bar, there was only one piece in stock and it wasn't labeled. The check out lady demanded that I go back and fetch a piece that was labeled, which of course I couldn't do. When I informed her of the problem, she told me I'd have a long wait for any assistance. Fortunately, another employee who was busy with other customers tried to help me, but it didn't work out. The first lady wandered off, never to be seen again. I went to Ace and had no trouble.

I was there yesterday to purchase a dishwasher when i was there after 20 minutos looking for help employees keep walking away from me some just ignore me so i left i did a 30 miles drive to fred's appliance WHAT A DIFERENCE I spend $1200 dollars and now on i will do the same. i would love to help our local economy but with that service is impossible.

Terrible store, front desk has no idea about the tool specials up front, had to ask 3 times just to get help since the deals are locked up, tried to have them help order online, while being helped, lady ignored me so I left the front desk. I just want a battery packs that comes with the free tool man how can that be. I’m impressed with the service I won’t lie…

Poor service by management but the employees are great. I came in and there was a husky discounted tool box. I asked to speak with a manager about the price and I’d take it today, as I live out of town. After four separate employees tried to call managers, each time, the manager third partied different information and refused to actually come speak with me. Diana in the blinds department helped me with what I needed. Walked me to the front, waited for me to pay and located loaders to help me get it home. Thank goodness for employees who care, because the assistant store manager and other assistant managers only put their employees in awkward situations and refused to deal with customer service. Thanks Diana! You’re the best!

I have been waiting since March to get a certain hanging plant basket. After almost 4 months of getting run around (oh their up above, we're doing inventory well get down asap, etc.) I finally got department manager he found 3 of the 16 supposed to be available. They had no chains. Then I bought a little cooler that uses water to cool area. Get to work found that it was already used for a while (water and stains inside) returning both next day.

Well, it's a Home Depot. What is there to say other than it is the typical Home Depot experience. I generally walk in to the store with an idea of what I am there to purchase. As I wander about the store looking for whatever it is that I originally went there to purchase, I find myself accumulating other items that I have suddenly decided that I need. I didn't previously know that I needed these items, but it became apparent to me that I did during my quest to find the item that I originally needed. Long story short, I can't get out of Home Depot without spending way more than I had intended to. If they just had a map of the store, I wouldn't get lost looking for whatever item I was there to buy and would spend a lot less money there. I think I'm on to the reasoning behind their strategic lack of maps. I'm onto you, Home Depot!

Ken and Jerry are great help know their stuff 5 stars to them. The rest of the store sucks hard most are lazy finger pointers with little knowledge. If you can't find Ken or Jerry go to Smitties Ace Hardware the men and ladies are hard workers with knowledge of their products

In June I purchased a shower wall that came broken. When I called for a replacement it also came broken when I called for the third replacement it also came broken. To say I am dissatisfied is an understatement. We have four kids and one bathroom. We have been living six weeks without a working shower because we chose to work with Home Depot and trusted them. I cannot imagine buying anything at this store ever again. The discount I received at the time of the third shower replacement is not worth the headache I have encountered.

Not as big of a fan of this store compared to others. Several tools were missing their demo tools that I wanted to look at. All the power tools are locked up so it's a pain to find what you're looking for. Their inventory must also be off because I checked before I drove in to see if the tool I wanted was in, only to find out that they were out.I think I'll just order what I need and have it delivered to my house with free shipping.
