I am a long haul trucker who lives on the road full time with my black lab Piper. It was time to get her spayed and I needed a big rig friendly facility as the rig is my only transportation when on the road. They were extremely accommodating in allowing me to park my truck and trailer in their lot behind the facility. (As a courtesy, I would definitely call ahead to make sure they aren’t needing the space for livestock that day). Everyone was extremely friendly, professional, knowledgeable and overall the best vet experience I’ve had in my 10 years on the road. HIGHLY Recommended and they will be my first choice for a vet in the future. If you’re coming in with a semi truck, I recommend entering on the side next to Enterprise as there is much more room to get lined up with the gate when coming off US395 and again please call ahead to make sure they aren’t needing the lot for a livestock appointment.

Went to Oregon Trail Vet Clinic for a long while. Last visit they neutered my dog without my knowledge until I went to pick him up and charged me for it, they also failed to perform other tests that were supposed to be done. They stated that there was a lack of communication, not one Dr. came to talk to me, instead they sent the tech. The consent did not have the neuter on it when I signed, nor was it talked about as we went over the consent, it miraculously was on the consent at pickup time however. The only person who apologized was the tech who brought my dog out, not the Drs. or the girl at the front desk, who in my opinion did not seem to care. I recently called to have records transferred to another vet clinic as I no longer feel that I trusted this clinic, the front desk girl again was not apologetic or did anything to try to keep a client who had spent over thousands of dollars at this facility. Very disappointed with the whole process.

When I first found this amazing place I was in dire need of help!! I raise pigs and had a sow in need of help to finish farrowing. I made the call they were happy to jump right in my trailer when I got there and go to work. My boar and a foot injury and yet again saved the day again with a 800 lb boar with 5" tusks getting him back in action. So I moved all my animals from somewhere who called themselves a veterinarian but would pick and choose what they would see and now drive an hour and 40 minutes to see smiling faces ready to help in any way they can. Thanks for everything you do to help my animals stay healthy no matter what they get into

Dr. Mark and his assistant were so awesome to us and to our babies. Henry ate a large amount of dark chocolate…and even after hours, Dr. Mark was super kind when I called and came right in to look after our guys. Thank you for saving Henry’s life, thank goodness for Oregon Trail and also, after hours. Highly recommend OT and their staff!

We have had a wonderful experience here will all our animals. We have a dog, 3 cats, 4 goats, and 4 cows and trust Oregon Trail with their care. They are attentive, take time to answer questions, and seem to really care. I would highly recommend Oregon Trail and any of their vets.

Oregon Trail Vet Clinic is excellent. The front office staff is over the top with a genuine love for animals. They even offered to hold our baby while I was filling out paperwork. The doctor answered all of my 1st-time dachshund owner questions. Chica is on her way to a long healthy life.

I have been going to Oregon Trail Vet clinic since the 1980's & have many stories of their care & personal interest for my pets & other animals. Each of the Vets & their aides over the years that have personally cared for my dogs, cats, goats & horses have given me their best effort for their treatment & care. In the early '80s, they cared for my dairy goats when there wasn't a lot written up about their vet needs. Two different times over the years, they came to my home when 2 very old doggies had reached the ends of their lives about the same time & needed putting down. This is still hard for me to write about now, but their empathy for my dear dogs, my "children" during those times was so wonderful that I can't express my gratitude enough. (I cried again when I received flowers from the vet clinic staff because of my loss, at that time).There have been a couple times when a treatment or medication didn't work all that great, but the many years worth of care for the various types of ailments & resulting long lives for my animals will keep me returning to this group of dedicated animal caregivers.

I'm very disappointed.Our initial visit to get my dog an annual physical and to check a lump on his side went fine. The vet was concerned with the lump. I scheduled surgery for the next month to have the lump removed. When another lump formed, I took my dog in for biopsies. I found out on that visit, they had scheduled my dog to be neutered instead of having the lump removed.I told the vet and front desk staff about the error.A few days later, the results of the biopsy came back benign. I requested the surgery be canceled.A day before the now canceled surgery I got an email reminder about the surgery.When I called to cancel, they still had my dog scheduled to be neutered.Too many mistakes. I will seek care from another vet.

I love that we always get to see the vet personally. In my experience, the folks here are friendly and knowledgeable. They value what you have to say and carefully evaluate your pet. Waiting room is always clean. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic.

I won’t take my pets anywhere else. Not only are these doctors and staff professional but they are also compassionate. They may not be the least expensive but I’m not looking for the least expensive when it comes to my pets health. I’m looking for experience, compassion and quality. They are worth every cent!

Been bring my dog here since he was a puppy I took him in a while ago to be examine because his ears were flaking and he was losing fur around his ears. They took a skin graft from the affected area and tested it only to inform me that everything came back normal. He then proceeded to prescribe me over $400+ in prescription medications. And simply told me to finish giving him the prescription as needed and that the problem should go away. I ended up walking out of there with a $750 bill which I paid cash but was really disappointed paying that much and not even getting answers as to what was wrong with my dog. I am still trying to figure out what's wrong with my dog but can't take a chance coming back to this vet and run the chance of ending up with a big that bill again and no answers my experience here used to be good but this last time I was really disappointed. I feel cheated.

It's never fun to go to a new vet with an emergency, but this was the situation I found myself in today. The care my dog received was excellent, and the fee was more than reasonable. Dr. Barton is experienced and thorough--despite being after hours--and he personally came out to the waiting area to give me an update on my dog's condition. The staff were caring and accomodating to my concerns.

While no veterinary service is affordable thess days, OTV has always been great to me and my dog children. I've been with them long enough now that they've helped me to compassionately end one life, and then get a new one started on a healthy track. When I call for even the small stuff like nail trims, they always fit my dogs into their busy schedules. I love their front office staff.

It's all about money they do not care at all! They demand you pay them prior to your appointment to secure your appointment but they do not offer a secure way to make a payment! they want your whole card number over the phone! I live over a hour away and ensured them I would be there my dog is 13 years old, very sick and needs surgery, blood work for his thyroid medication ( hes almost out of) and a bad ear infection! and I heard great things about their doctors. I even called the day before the appointment to beg them to please keep my appointment and they said they would. I called the morning of the appointment again just to make sure they didn't cancel but they lied and had cancelled my appointment since I didn't pay them $70 !!! and gave it to someone else!! They told me I could bring my baby in for an ER visit but this would cost me a lot more money! It's all about the money! I was absolutely devastated in tears , now I have to still find a doctor for him since we are new to the state. They wasted a whole week of mine I could of been looking else where for appointments 😞 people really don't care anymore. I own a business and this is not how you treat customers especially when they are begging for service.

I have taken my dog Cheeto to the Oregon Trail Veterinary Clinic for about two years. He has been in for both health checkups and emergency reasons. That staff there is absolutely top-notch. I couldn't be happier or feel safer about leaving my little friend in their very loving and capable hands.
