All rooms are on one level. No one above or below you. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Despite being close to the freeway it was quiet. The restaurant and saloon were convenient and the food was excellent at both. Would stay there again.Walkability: We arrived late and appreciated being able to walk to the restaurant and saloon. The pancakes were plate size and very good!Food & drinks: The tacos at the saloon were good. Wait staff was attentive.

Got there after driving for 9 hours got a room got comfy and dropped my ring on the floor it went under bed , which to my disgust has dirty socks ,food ,old water bottles under both beds needless to say I slept in my clothes, I complained in the morning and all the front desk lady said was she would have thrown the mattress.Not that I would ever stay there again but maybe a voucher for another place .I have pics on my phone if interested in seeing the filth.Am staying at a best western tonight cost 10 $ difference clean and smells good! Breakfast included ( grants pass)

I have stayed here for the last 10 years when I come through Oregon and I love the quietness, spacious rooms and open fields surrounding the motel. But last November I paid $93 for the very same room that I paid $135 for yesterday. I don't mind the lack of updated amenities but I sure can't justify a $42 increase in one year. I feel ripped off and I will not be back.

Love the old style motorlodge layout where you park in front of the room. Front desk lady was a little cranky but nothing terrible. Gave a $5 credit for the diner attached. Diner had a great breakfast for this old gal and the waitress was delightful. Room was clean, comfy and quiet. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL! Reasons to stay away:1) The minute the front door was opened, you could smell that it was musty and old;2) door safety lock was broken (told clerk on duty, she said she’d make a note of it);3) coffee maker didn’t work correctly;4) the refrigerator was dirty inside (told the clerk on duty and thought it’d be cleaned our second day—it was not!);5) nightstand had dried food particles stuck to it;6) the bathroom door scraped across the bathroom floor and was hard to open fully;7) we didn’t feel safe leaving our items in the room, so took our luggage, etc. with us when we left for the day.

I booked a non smoking room, but on arrival the manager said that all the rooms are sold out and only a smoking room is available. then she said that she had other numbers, but she could not change the number, because there was something with their working system. in other hotels I have never encountered such problems and the managers went to meet the client! I do not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel!

The top blanket had what looked like snot marks on it only one set of shampoo and conditioner in the room. The sink was plug stuck shut. I found a couple of friends hiding in the dark corners of the closet area. This was the first time I have had these issue there. However, they have a laundry room that is open 24/7, air conditioning and heat. Cable, wifi, restaurant and lounge on-site as well as a gas station/mini mart and separate showers and laundry room. Great truck stop or just an overnight pull over and sleep for a few when traveling. You also receive a $5 off each guest coupon for breakfast at the restaurant. It is close to the free so you don't have to search for a way out! There are some cool tourists attractions too in Brownsville. It is where the movie Stand by me was filmed.

Modest but clean, quiet and comfortable rooms. Was able to get a much needed rest from the road. The nearby sportsbar/restaurants/gift shop plus truck stop are a welcome addition to the overall experience. The food was delicious and priced reasonably. Truck parking in the back lot behind both the restaurant/hotel in the dirt lot, with plentiful area to spare. Definitely a placed deserving a bookmark to return if a future occasion arises. 5 stars, the staff interactions blew any expectations by quite a lot. Thank you for a great visit and experience!

Roo.s are out of date and need to be brought up to date. Service and turn up is great, price was great as well, restaurant was over prices for what you ordered, but food was pretty good. Lots of truck parking for the OTR drivers, hotel does give CDL rates for holding a CDL, overall experience for me is a four star rating due to hotel being out of date.

We stayed here on our trip home from California. Everyone was so nice and very professional. We also ate dinner in their restaurant and the food and service was nice. You could tell it was town meeting place for dinner, Which made it more special I miss the home town feelings that you don't get in a chain restaurant. Our room nice and clean. You can see that they take pride in their villa. The only draw back was the bathroom fan was really noisy. Next time we take a trip we will stay there again, Thank you for your service an hospitably!!!

Was told they had only smoking rooms left. When we told the lady working that was ok but if the room was really bad we would not be wanting it, she suddenly came up with a non-smoking room.The room had a strong bad odor, mold perhaps? The air conditioner was not putting out any air so we removed the filter. A solid 1/8th" of packed fuzz on filter. Scraped and then washed filter and air returned. Mold all around tub and spots on bathroom wall. Carpet very dirty, bad odor (animal/mold perhaps? Filter may have had something to do with odor). Water in tub and toilet were brown, was told to let it run for a while because they were on a well. Running water for 15 minutes did nothing to change it. The room was filthy. There was packed dirt in corners, garbage under the beds from previous occupants, dust on everything. We were told there had recently been construction nearby and that was probably what the dust was from, but it was even on and in the tp dispenser in the bathroom and with the plugged filter could not have gotten in there. Walls and doors were dirty. The microwave was burned and bubbled inside, only arched when tried to use. They would not give our money back a half hour after we checked in or even give us bottled water to wash our faces and brush our teeth. Lady at front desk was rude and matter of fact. We went to their store and bought cleaning supplies and cleaned what we could ( bathroom walls around toilet were gross). Killed mold as best we could with the supplies available. Did the best we could for the next occupants. Bedding had cigarette burns.In the am, we did order at the restaurant. The service was friendly. The food was cold and ingredients were premade. Omelette was at table within 2 minutes of ordering. Looked ok for what it was. After thinking about the water, could not go through with breakfast. Paid, thanked the polite server and moved on with our day.I do not recommend staying here.

The evening check in staff were very friendly and helpful the morning desk staff was far from having any professional customer service skills. They don't except cash for any reason even when they add charges to bill last min. The morning desk employee had very confrontational from the beginning. She didn't seem to care about anything and used calling the police as her answer to thing. Will not recommend will not go back

I reserved a room and came in at 11:30pm and the lobby was locked with the lights off and there was a blond haired gal sitting in the dark on a computer or her phone, I couldn't tell which, all I saw was the glow of the screen reflecting off her. I drive a day cab and had to sleep in it as there are no other hotels nearby that I can park at. Thank you for the wonderful night

This place honestly needs less than one star! The front desk doubled my booking. The room smelled as if a dog had multiple accidents on the carpet; which explains why the carpet was discolored in some areas. The shower in the morning had absolutely no hot water and when we called the front desk the lady who answered was very rude. The water also had a very weird color to it ( I will attach some pictures.) Another thing that I thought was utterly disgusting was the maid put the clean or so called "clean" sheets right on top of the outside ac. The breakfast in the morning was so gross! The servers didn't have masks on when cooking and bringing your food to you. I'm glad my daughters and I didn't eat the breakfast we already felt so sick after drinking the coffee.

I never write bad reviews but this was the WORST experience i've ever been through!!! My boyfriend and I arrived at our room at 8pm after a long day of driving and tried to check in at the outdoor check in station and no one was there! There was a phone that said dial 0 for "on site management" so we did and no one answered! We were cold and tired so we tried dialing 0 a few more times and still no answer. The area seemed unsafe and we were freezing and my bf's mom got worried so she called the Wyndham 800 number and they got a hold of the "on site manager". She came out of her bedroom that was right next to the outdoor checkin station that we had been waiting at and said that our rooms been cancelled because we had no business calling Wyndham (she was mad that we made her look bad i guess). I was shocked! She said that we've been prank calling her and trying to mess with her and if we don't get out of here she'd call the cops. Trying to stay calm, we told her that we would have no interest prank calling her, we've been waiting 20 minutes in the cold and would please like our room. She said that's not true, and that she had been waiting there the whole time and answering our calls?! (maybe she has an invisible suit???) I felt so gaslit and overwhelmed that I started crying while walking away and she was saying "go cry little girl". I've never felt so disrespected and just confused. I started looking up reviews after this and saw someone posting about this women calling their wife horrific names. PLEASE spend a little extra and go to the Clarion or anywhere else for that matter or you might risk being gaslit and having your room cancelled. We were greated warmly and given a room right away at the Clarion, that's how it should be...

Nice roadside motel with all you would need in one location. It is older, but well kept. I like the assigned spots in front of your very spacious room. They have smoking rooms, which is nice. Staff is friendly. I'd definitely try a week here with a good book. Quiet, and homey. Byow tho.

Stayed 2 different times. 1 st stay was amazing! Customer service was superb!"the young man was very helpful rooms were above my expectations! 2nd stay very unhappy. The young lady was rude! Gave us the wrong keys twice! We are both disabled! 3 trips back and forth just to get into the rooms! Then when I finally did settle in and went to take a bath not only was the water BROWN, but cold! The same young young lady was again very rude and was unwilling to do anything other than move me to yet another room which was not what I had rented. I ended up sleeping in my car. She charged us twice as much as we paid the first visit. Was extremely vociterous and if I ever stay there again I will make sure she is not working! The hotel was nice for the price and when the staff is. Courteous a very pleasant stay! This woman needs re trained or fired. And the other employee needs a raise! Was like night and day! The young man with the tattoos was very helpful! Super Courteous and an excellent example of customer service! Bravo to him!

Not helpful, not kind, not particularly interested in customer satisfaction. We reserved our room through the Wyndham central booking center; we paid extra for an accessible non-smoking room but when we arrived they said that wasn't available. They refused to even find one of the shower chairs - and by the way there were at least two accessible smoking rooms that were vacant the whole night, so there were definitely chairs available. This was told to us by an exceptionally grouchy clerk, and confirmed by a disinterested manager. In the morning we complained directly to the manager and she still didn't care or offer to make anything better.In addition my blanket had a hole (roughly the size of a nickel) burned into it. And we ran out of hot water very quickly while showering. And there was LOTS of visible mold in the shower!The good news is that the morning maid was willing to bring us a shower chair, and I only saw one bug. Hence the second star.

It isn't fancy but it is a truck stop first and foremost.Geared towards us Highway Heroes, it won't be everyone's cup of tea. Rooms are dated, water is discolored, carpets are stained, and if you expect a posh experience, look elsewhere.

Really poor experience. The front desk staff was rude and impatient. Included breakfast does not have any good vegerian options. The only think you get is bowl of canned fruit. The coffee maker was so dirty and looked like it was never cleaned for months. Blankets had lot of hair. Floor had some minute stains. Online reservations does not let you select a non-smoking room. You are out of luck if they are sold out of non-smoking rooms by the time you arrive.
