Oh my god, this goes out to the grooming department at this pet smart. Josie did a phenomenal job on my puppy, I know that puppies can be awful to work on because they’re so small and fidgety. But I couldn’t be happier with how he turned out!!! I didn’t really know what I wanted but Josie definitely delivered. I asked for clean feet, and it’s not really typical for dogs with his hair type but it turned out so unbelievably cute. I can’t stop gushing <3 he looks great and feels good too I’m sure. The bows and bandana were the perfect touch! He wasn’t weird or traumatized by the end of it either which was super reassuring that he was in great hands. Thank you Josie! The entire experience was super fast and easy. 5 stars on his first groom ever!!! (I included a before because he looked pretty rough)

They always have what I need in stock & I feel at comparable prices for the most part. (at least in the past. I'll admit, it's been awhile since I've shopped at Petsmart) Before this visit, I happened to look online (for this specific location) for the item I wanted to check the price compared to other places due to price ⬆️ everywhere. They showed the best price online. However, when I went to the store to purchase the item, it rang up $5 more. I mentioned to the cashier that it showed the item less expensive online. She was friendly about it & stated something along the lines of yes, sometimes the prices can be different online. (I do not remember what the reason was 😬 but it wasn't an "if you order online vs buy in store" situation), I showed her the online price & she did a price adjustment, no problem. I've never paid attention to online prices vs in the store prices & I don't know how many items may be priced differently but just an FYI... Also, the staff has always been friendly at this location in my many, many, many trips over the years.

This petsmart needs to look into who they employee. One of their employees by the name of Katie, and her mother had tried to steal my lost cat after I found out of her whereabouts. They were uncooperative and unresponsive with me, therefore forcing me to turn to multnomah county police and file a report for a stolen cat. It was only then when progression of her return took place, but only through thr officer, as Katie didn't respond.I contacted the store manager, and she knew of this situation, but didn't put pressure on the situation to return the cat as the runner of a pet store! How ridiculous.Katie ended up asking for compensation of the shots she got my cat, however also did a second time THE DAY OF thr meet up, went and got my cat shots again without my consent, just to slap on additional compensation fees, which I never gave consent to. Katie and her mom who both works here pressured me for 525 dollars for her return, and around 175 of that was unessesary. Then afterwards, the officer said the mother kept trying to argue with him over their entitled stance that they should deserve to keep the cat.I HIGHLY recommend avoiding doing any business with this petsmart, as they have no moral care nor regards in who they employee that gives this store a tainted image.Ive already ppsted this on NextDoor and Yelp.Please, shop at another petstore, and I hope Katie is let go for the betterment of the company.

My sweet golden retriever had a wonderful experience at the groomers here. The staff was friendly, patient, and took great care of my dog. I've used a variety of groomers and they gave my dog the best haircut he's ever had. He's been a happier dog ever since. Thank you!

Masks 😷 are required at this store . When I was there the staff did a great job of keeping everyone 6 feet apart. Staff is great very friendly and they were able to help us Find thing fast. This place sells birds 🐦 Ferrets, hamsters 🐹, mice, and other animals. They have pet clothing. Training classes for beginners and advanced classes. I took the beginner class with my dog Vixen. I will upload a video of Vixen in action.Jeremy Peirce was our classes trainer he is amazing! He answered all of the classes questions. All the dog picked up Certain Commands Pretty quickly. Commands like sit, Touch, And steyn for a very short period of time. But that's one of the things he says we just need to practice Doing in short durations 1st before we get to go longer.I would try to get Jeremy Peirce if you decided to take a training course.He encourages you Email him if you have any problems Or questions. He's a sweet and enthusiastic guy. His dog is pretty sweet too.

Everything keeps getting more expensive. The cashiers are usually great but I can't help but feel bad for them. I wonder if they are throwing away live animals that don't sell.

I was looking for some cat grass and the ones that were out didn't look that great. I asked the sweet cashier Shelby her opioin on which one looked better. She helped me choose a cat grass plant but then remembered they just received some new plants in a box they hadn't opened yet. I was so grateful to have the freshest plant for my new kitten. Shout out to Shelby, you rock girl!

I was able to get a right away nail trim for our dog Spike! They happened to have time and the process of becoming a client was super easy. All I needed was Spike’s rabies vaccination. They did an amazing job!

I go to this petsmart all the time and I’ve never had a bad experience but I don’t appreciate being cut in line especially when there’s only a couple people infront it’s just Rude if someone is waiting in line you shouldn’t get the people behind them first you should get the people who have been waiting first !!

I’m so happy how the grooming staff listen on how i wanted the trim for my dog. I was impressed when i saw my dog how they did it perfectly the way i want it ( trim). Staff are very courteous and friendly that i feel like I’m part of their team and the whole store are very helpful and the place is clean and organized. Will definitely coming back and it’s gonna be my regular store for my fur babies. 😃

Don't get me wrong I really like this store I go almost monthly they always have great sales compared to other stores. Always keep an eye on the price on the shelf , when they scan it shows up differently. There's usually one cashier an older lady that treats customers differently always rude, And when I let her know the price is wrong she doesn't want to change it and I always say we'll you can go check and she then changes it. It's happened many times not just once and I suggest if you see the other cashier an older gentleman go to him always smiling and has a nice charm never rude seems like he enjoys his job.

We love pet smart! I've used them for several years with all my dogs! We have a German shepherd puppy that we brought with us from age 8 weeks and they are SO helpful & kind. They have a huge variety of animal food/treats/toys and more. I highly recommend. We even purchase our birds food & toys there!

I appreciate the ease of returning my kitties' $50 worth of prescription food for the prescription variety they'll actually eat. Associates are friendly, helpful and are working at break neck speed everytime I'm in there. Store is always clean and well stocked. Customers tend to have friendly and lovable fur babies to admire, which is a plus.

Linda was amazing... she took the time to help my wife and I, we had some questions about our new fish tank and she was more then helpful. Very knowledgeable and made several good recommendations. We had issues with our tank being cloudy and after purchasing the items she suggested our take is beautiful. Please give her some recognition for her amazing customer service skills.

I come here mostly for convenience. The selection is pretty good, though I have to get my cat food across town because they don't carry the brand. The staff is almost always friendly, which is a major reason I shop here. My biggest complaint is the prices are pretty high. I realize supply chain issues and such but $20 for corrugated cardboard for cats to scratch on is a bit ridiculous.

Velvet went in for her first check up. She wasn't sure about the shot she got but the treats after were great. Velvet loves petsmart, it's like a toy store for puppies.

Petco is a good place to find LOTS of pet supplies, but I won't buy fish from them, and here is an example of why. The last time I was there they had just received a shipment of fish. A number of tanks already had dead fish laying in them, plus quite a few of the bags of new fish (which were floating in their tanks) also contained dead fish, such as this bag of dead Tiger Barbs. I used to breed tropical fish and supply them to pet stores. I know some fish will die in fish/pet stores, but there's no excuse for letting them collect there, and there's absolutely no excuse for having so many fish die during transport.

Had the weirdest experience here. Not the best customer service. Had an online order to pick up and called for curbside since it says they do that on the website. Called to let them know I was there and got hung up on, called again got hung up on again before I could finish my sentence. Decided to just go in and when I was checking over my order noticed something I didn’t order at all and let them know. At the same time some guy runs out with two bags full of stuff without paying. Overall just wasn’t pleased with the customer service but it also was just an unpleasant way to start my day.
