My dog (Charlie) loves going to Petco. She loves everyone there and is very vocal about it. All I have to say is “Charlie, time for a bath” and she runs in for her leash. Princesses love spa days. And the lovely ladies are always helpful and tell me what she did, and if they notice anything odd. Even if she didn’t need a bath, I’d still take her so she could spend time with her friends being pampered. Also I love that my donations go to our local humane society, and the clerks always tell me how excited they are to receive them. The people at the Gresham, Or Petco are the absolute best. Also a huge fan of Vital care.

Scheduling issues in grooming. You make an appointment, then a couple days later they call you and tell you they can’t do it. It has happened to me several times (twice in a row most recently) at this location. When you call, the phone rings and rings until you bounce back to the front end of the store. When you do get a grooming employee on the phone they are condescending and rude. It makes me begin to question how they treat the dogs when you aren’t there. Grooming is VERY expensive here- I used to come only for the convenience. There are tons of small local & independently owned groomers around- I just found a new one I love from google. Cheaper, faster and didn’t cancel my appointment. I won’t be back to Petco for grooming.Edited to add: To her credit, the manager of the actual store was nice on the phone but she mentioned several times that grooming was actually separate, and not directly under her charge.

Our copper loves going to see Cassey. She always takes the time to get kisses and love on copper. Not sure what we would do without Cassey. She is amazing!!

They are amazing! My dog rolled around in (what I assume) was a rotting carcass while out on a hike. They very kindly squeezed us in at the last minute which was an absolute lifesaver. They got rid of the incredibly pungent smell and he came out looking fresh and happy. Huge shoutout to Cassey who did such a great job! She is a gem! THANK YOU!

Cassey the pet stylist was the absolute best! She went out of her way to make sure my dog was comfortable and pampered. Cassey asked great questions about how I would like my dog groomed, AND she actually listened because it is the best haircut he has ever had...exactly what I wanted.

If you know your "short staffed" and you can't handle the later appointments just call and say so. Dont pretend that less than 10 minutes late due to accident traffic and for the 1st time ever is acceptable customer interaction. It wasnt that it was Just being lazy. Every other time we've gone here it takes an hour and a 1/2 longer than qouted to groom the dog anyways.what's different about this time? Pretty solid way to lose a regular customer.

Called in, no one answered. Got told by the phone to go online to make my appt. Went online, had to register for an account. Go to make an appt, first thing it says is that if you have a cat, you can't use the online portal. Huge waste of time. Get your act together... Will find a more competent company to handle my time and business.

Nikki has always been so wonderful to our little Oreo. He loves her. She is always helpful when I ask questions on how to keep him better groomed in between grooming visits. We stay with Petco grooming because of how wonderful the groomers are, especially Nikki.

All the gals at the Gresham Petco are very friendly and helpful. Nikki is the groomer I ask for because she loves Cocker Spaniels and was the first groomer my dog started with. Nikki always provides us with the best care. We love her!!!!

After waiting 2 weeks for an appt, I had to wait for the groomer to return from lunch. When she returned it appeared that she was not happy about something; no smile, no greeting, no ‘Sorry you had to wait’. I explained to her that my little dog was not very friendly, that he growls at everyone, even me - he’s got an attitude - but that I’d never had any complaints about his misbehaving from any groomer. The groomer sat down on the floor with him and pet him, looking into his ears etc. Yes, he growled but that is it that’s all he does is growl. She told me she wasn’t comfortable grooming him that she could rebook an appointment with another groomer. Petco: Why hire groomers that are fearful of a 25 pound dog merely growling at them? If they can’t handle a dog growling at them, they should be looking for a new line of work. I’m done with Petco due to the groomer with the blue hair and long, very sharp looking fingernails.

Savannah and Ashley at the Burnside PETCO are amazing. My wife and I were worried about our older GSD being too difficult for a nail tream. They were able to get it done for us and treated our pup very good. I will 100% be coming back for regular nail trim/buffing.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier, enough said. No, seriously though I admit my dog is high energy, and the workers at Petco (Burnside/Gresham, OR) who consistently groom her are fabulous. They are patient and understanding, and my Jack always comes home looking great! Thanks! Mat Rios

My dog, Jake, can be a bit of a challenge. He's very excitable and that can make it difficult to bathe and groom him. He's also double coated and his coat can be ruined if it is cut too short. The groomers did an excellent job. When I picked him up he looked great. His coat was clean and shiny and just the right length.

The groomer took the time to brush out all my great Pyrenees's matted hair, and it took her 4 hours, but he looks amazing! She also told me about other options that might avoid a long grooming visit in the future.

Brookelyn is always patient with my girl. She has a clear understanding of how scared my dog is as her previous owner wasn't very nice to her. She's warming up to brookelyn and was much better than last time. Brookelyn is amazing!!

After covid started the place where I took my 2 small dogs to get their nails trimmed closed. I was so stressed out trying to find somewhere and looked up Petco just to see if that woukd be a good fit. Ashley from the petco in Gresham OR was amazing. I highly recommend her. Both of my dogs get really nervous and sge handled them with care and understanding. Such a great experience.

Nikki has been grooming my Cavalier, Nutmeg since she was a puppy and I wouldn't use anyone else. She listens to me and Nutmeg, now three years old, is trimmed up just the way I like. She does an amazing job!!!
