We've been coming to DogTown for the past few years and the staff consistently amazes me. We've taken our dog Juneau to puppy training as well as agility training where they really train you (and the dog, somewhat)! Stacy, Brooke, and Amanda are all great leaders - fantastic communication and are very patient. We also take Juneau to DogTown weekly for daycare and occasionally board her. They usually post photos end of every day so you can find your dog if it was in daycare. All staff we've interacted with in person and online via email are friendly and quick to respond. Huge thanks to Alyssa too for always answering my questions and being flexible.Aside from 5-star customer service, we appreciate their approach to accepting dogs for daycare and boarding. Their positive training approach makes a perfect environment for pets. And if they don't think your dog will thrive in their daycare environment (like my older Yorkie after a couple of test rounds), they are honest with sharing what's best for the dog.Huge shoutout to DogTown for being a place we can trust.

I’ve worked here and since moved on to the vet industry and miss all the dogs that I’ve met and cherished every single one. My dear Rye Rye(who passed away this year) was a regular here and would “anchor” herself in the lobby cause she loved it so much. Now that we have a new puppy we would love to bring her in due to the experience I had working here and watching Adam and Shelby do miracles with cases people wouldn’t even imagine of dealing with. Which says a lot about the leadership that takes place here. Every dog that gets brought in will always get a warm greeting and the ratio from dog to employee is. Another thing to rest assured is they get extensive training unlike some places in dog behavior and language. Hopefully soon you will get to meet Ravyn!

I first heard about Dogtown through quite a few of my clients taking their dogs here and having positive experiences. My dog is dog reactive and I had been trying to find a trainer with a Reactive dog class. Dogtown was the closest to me and I inquired about it. I had to take a private class with Stacy in order to be put on the waiting list, to ensure that he was alright to take the class. At that point they were 3 weeks into a class, and the next class was full, so I had to wait about 9 weeks. I do appreciate that the class sizes are smaller, and there’s only three other dogs in the class. This obviously helps to make sure everyone stays safe, but also make me feel better about not overloading Pistachio with a bunch of people and dogs at once.We went through the level one calm and collected and Dani is great! I already had been really working with my dog on his reactivity since November of last year. I adopted him last June and really didn’t know his history, and he’s also my first dog, so I’m starting from scratch with him. Since I had been working with him so much, and doing so much research on how to help him, taking the level one class didn’t necessarily give me any new information. However! the class helped him so much!! It was our first opportunity to be in a controlled environment with other dogs so we could work on that positive reinforcement! All the exercises/warm-ups that she had us do, though simple & small, were so helpful for him! For our last class Dani was able to bring in a neutral dog to work with everyone. I will say I was nervous about Pistachio‘s reaction, but I knew this was the best place to do this. The difference from week one to week six was insane! I had never seen him so relaxed, or focused on me ever! I was so proud of him, and so thankful that we were able to take the class, even though I did have my doubts at first. And the other dogs in the class made a lot of progress too, it was very cool to see how far everyone had come!We are now taking the level two class, and so far it’s been great! We’ve only had two classes, but I’ve learned tons more so far! This class is challenging both Pistachio and I a lot more, and having us work on areas that we haven’t really focused on before. I have no doubt that by week six he will have made a ton of progress! Maybe not as much as the level one since this is all new to him, but I think it’ll still be quite a bit!

This place is the best in the area for positive training classes of all kinds, doggy daycare, and food/supplies. My dogs always came home happily tired from playing all day at daycare. Highly recommend!

Great place to take your dog for a bath and nail trim. The people are really nice and the person who helped me set up the following appointment was very friendly and cute. Keep up the good work! Will come back soon :)

I take my dog, Artemis, here every Saturday to play with other dogs in Daycare. She loves it! It's great and has really helped her socialize nicely with other dogs.We also took her through basic obedience, and the class was done so well! I definitely recommend this place to anyone who has a dog and needs training, or just wants them to get a little dog socialization time.

My very first drop-in Rally class with Stacy exceeded my expectations. Since I can't get into a beginner class until the end of May, I will come to the weekly Rally class. Stacy was extremely supportive and patient with me and my young French Bulldog. I only wish I had found this place which offers professional dog training group classes sooner.

We love this place and Stacy and her team so much! We have been going to DogTown for about 8 plus years with our dogs. My current boy Yeager who is a GSD, loves it! He participates in Boarding, Daycare, Obedience, Agility, and when he gets a bit stinky, baths and nail trims. The socialization aspect has been great for Yeager!. We love Stacy and Cassie as they have always taken great care of our boy. He can at times be a handful when it comes to nail trims and baths but they have a way of making him feel loved and it is OK. You are all wonderful!

Took my Great Pyrenees and GP mix for a grooming. They look fantastic! Neither dog was stressed when i picked them up and the prices were unbelievably affordable. Highly recommend their groomer, I just wish i'd caught her name! Can't wait to take my fur-babes back for other services at DogTown!

Our experience with Dog Town has been exceptional. We have an Aussie puppy, and are so thankful that we have a top notch doggy daycare, groomer, and puppy classes so close to home. They have flirt poles for sale, a rarity as the big box pet stores don't carry them, which have worked wonders to get the wiggles out of our pup. Also have to give them huge props for requiring masks, and safe social distance practices, which as a business practice in Gresham is a rarity and very well appreciated.

Wonderful staff who do a great job of socializing and training dogs. It also has great items for sale, ranging from food, toys, and more! They recently got an engraving machine and have a ton of cute tags too. The building is set back quite a bit from the main road, so make sure to look for the paw print on the fence.

I only have this and one other groomers to compare it to BUT..Best groomer I’ve been to🙌 The staff was so nice, they took in my hyper and overly excited 6 moth Pitbull with open arms. I took him in for the full service bath and the nail trims and received a very clean and very happy pittie. They even gave him a cute bandana! I really like what this place has to offer. Needless to say, I will be back.❤️

I have been very impressed with DogTown since day one! My dog, Bandit has been to doggy daycare during the week and also boarded with them for the weekend. This was my first time using a doggy daycare for my dog and was nervous to try it out. I had done much research and touring of other facilities in the Gresham/Portland area and was not impressed at all until finding DogTown. They keep their facility very clean and organized (something many of the other locations i visited lacked.) I am a full time college student, and also work full time. Because of this unfortunately, my dog doesn't get as many walks and doggy socialization that he should. This is the reason I wanted him to join DogTown to begin with. The staff are so friendly and very well educated about dogs. I can tell that they enjoy their job and that makes a world of a difference! My dog can be a character (and a handful) at times but I can tell they still enjoy having him around. He is always so happy and excited when we pull up to daycare, and greets the staff as well. This tells me, they treat him very well while I am away and that he enjoys it there. What REALLY impressed me was how they still knew who my dog was after not having him go for a few months. DogTown is always busy and I thought it was so wonderful that they remembered not only my dog but myself as well.I would recommend DogTown to anyone who wants their dog to get great exercise, socialization and to come home very tired!! They also do a great job boarding, and prices are great! Thank you so much DogTown!

The facility is outfitted with the best equipment - everything from the safety flooring (special foam so tumbles and falls won't result in torn ligaments), to the play equipment, to the sanitation provisions. They offer in-house bathing and grooming equipment as well. They have a large staff to oversee the dogs. The staff is formally trained - not just kids who "like dogs". Everyone is also certified in animal first aid and CPR.Prices are reasonable - not cheap, but very fair for the level of care and service provided. You can buy multi-day packages which really helps to reduce the daily rate. They also offer a variety of classes (e.g. obedience, agility, Canine Good Citizen, etc.), and boarding so your dog can be familiar/comfortable with whatever activities you wish to sign them up for.

My boy Bear has been going to daycare as well as taking obedience classes at Dog Town since he was a tiny pup. I can't say enough good things about the owner and staff. They honestly treat every dog as if its their own. Bear has learned so much from the classes and is always a happy and tired pup after day care. Highly recommend if you want the best care for your dog and the most experienced trainer you will find in this area!

Our 4 month old Blue Heeler puppy just completed the Puppy Star class at Dogtown. We thought it was great! Our little puppy was really good to begin with, but the class was super helpful in getting him socialized to other people and dogs, and also listening to commands while surrounded by distractions. I've been to other obedience classes at other locations where the trainers have great dog skills but ZERO people skills. These trainers were super personable and took time to really talk to each person about their challenges with their puppies. The class is on the cheaper side compared to what is out there. The hours are convenient, and the location was convenient for me (I work in Gresham). All and all, an awesome experience. I can't wait to sign up for the next class!

I appreciate this place so much. They worked with my timid rescue dogs and we're instrumental in bringing them out of their shells. My dog's love to go and come home exhausted. Since they are used to being there once a week, boarding them there seems more comfortable for them when I travel. I wish there were more stars to give.

Guilt-free dog boarding. Also an awesome daycare. After leaving my extrovert hound at Dogtown for one week, he came home exhausted and happy. This is a great place for social dogs! My previous Bloodhound was a rescue and would not have passed the evaluation process at Dogtown - and Elizares kennels was the perfect place for my special needs dog. Both Dogtown and Elizares are super strict on vaccinations being up to date, as well as overall canine health, but Dogtown goes a step further requiring a Giardia (parasite) test before accepting new doggie clients. Because Dogtown is so popular daycare scheduling and holiday boarding needs to be scheduled well in advance. I look forward to Dogtown opening up a second location later this year!

Great place to take your dog. The employees and owner really care about the dogs. There are quite a few people back with the dogs and I haven't found that before. They have an outside, too, with plenty of toys inside and out. They do have a quiet time, but the dogs are not kenneled. Highly recommend.

They are great! They were able to trim the nails of the 14 year old Puggle I live with and do it with patience and skill. This is the first time he has not been sedated. Thank you! We will be back:)

Awfully rude staff, over packed and filthy facilities. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. The poor maintenence and horrific fecal smell, from no sanitization or cleaning, on the part of the staff and ownership will be your first indication. This place should be shutdown and condemned, due to poor animal treatment.

Our Pomeranian, Mr. Cuddles, does not do well with strangers. We nervously brought him here to be groomed not knowing what to expect. The lady's that run the place are awesome and we had a great experience.

I noticed there was a response from the owner about using a collar instead because they're concerned about being bitten by a dog when they trim dog claws. I would rather have my dog muzzled than a collar around their neck choking them or fingertips positioned right at the throat in a place where it literally will cause you to lose your breathing try it on yourself and see what you think. Furthermore I suggest people go online and look at what qualifies as a good doggie daycare because when I was there they were yelling at the dogs by the fence because they looked to see who was pulling up in the car while they were also hosing down the area. Moreover there is not enough space for all of the dogs that gather inside as far as being able to run around and play they're like in a playpen size area it's inappropriate again I suggest you check it out go online Google to see what is appropriate for a daycare doggie place. And if an owner has to keep going online to defend herself what's up with that I don't care how many years of experience a person has had.For the most part I would say the woman Stacie appears professional and the way she's running the business of Dogtown. However, when I brought my dog in to have her claws trimmed Stacy did a great job. Her assistant who was helping hold my dog down was choking my dog. Literally, had her fingers in my dog's throat choking her under the harness strap. My son was with me. I said to the girl "are you choking my dog?" Because I could see my dog's eyes were starting to bulge, her breathing labored. She said 'no, I'm holding her harness." I said "no, you're choking her." Then she removed her fingers from my dogs throat and grabbed onto the harness. It took her a minute to stop because she appeared to be really into it and had to unpsyche herself to stop. I said something to my son when we left he said :she lied! I saw her, she was choking her her fhand was under the harness! I am greatly concerned and would hate to think this person might be deliberately abusing an animal and there would be plenty for her to have access to being at Dogtown! Now I know there's great ratings here and many of you reading this will be upset or won't believe it but isn't that the way it usually is for the victim?

This place is a life saver! When the rainy weather season is here, my dog goes here once a week and is always wiped. The ladies are so sweet and I totally trust them. So glad I found this place.
