I haven't been to coastal in quite a few years. I definitely forgot what I was missing. This place is awesome. They had what we needed. The price tag was about $25 for Antimicrobial Wound Care spray for animals. Pricey, but well worth the bottle. It should last for quite some time, and we have 4 dogs. 😆

Super friendly the guy who works back in sporting goods is super knowledgeable. helped me with all of my ammo needs was super friendly and you could tell he enjoyed his job and his department. which is a nice change compared to alot of places where they have people working in that department who either know nothing or don't like their job. and have a bad attitude. But that wasn't the case here. I wish I had caught his name but he was awesome.

I’ve been in there twice in a row now with my husband and both times we’ve had to come back to have tags removed. We live 40+ minutes away. My husband called to tell the store manager that not only what a pain, time and money it costs but also that their tags don’t work. The manger hung up on him. It’s stupid mistake. So go steal something!

This is one of the GREATEST stores I have ever been to. During a storm, I was in need of a pellet stove. Dustin came to the rescue. This guy is INCREDIBLE! From phone conversations to in store purchase, he was super helpful, informative, and patient. Plus, every associate in the store was friendly and helpful. Customer service was outstanding. I live over an hour from this location. I will gladly make the trip to purchase from this store in the future.

I must say. It’s the 21st century and with technology and website development. You have the absolute worst website search engine. You are still operating your stores with a DOS system 1985 technology. Not only is your website hard to search and find items. Your employees have a difficult time find items and inventory in your own stores. Often your inventory count is off most of the time. Your employees could excel and give your customer better service if they only could be given better technology. In the last few years the quality of materials and availability is a joke. You can no longer blame suppliers.

Nice country store with good prices and friendly staff. Firearms department is bigger than I expected with equivalent or better selection compared to SW or Cabela’s. Competitive prices on ammo as well.

Came for chicks and the associated supplies. The only downside I can say is that they had a "discount" tub of older chicks that they had put on sale. They hadn't kept the breeds apart or labeled and had no clue which breed was which. So that was kind of a bummer. That said- we ended up bringing home ten new chicks to integrate into our coop. We got enough supplies to get us started and even got the dogs a few toys as well. Wish they had more of the yetis in stock but that's a problem no matter where you go right now.

During the recent cold snap, my furnace decided to go kaput. My pellet stove needed a new vent fitting to get it running as a backup heat source. The folks in the wood stove dept were super helpful and friendly. Got me in business. This is just one example of many in my 20yrs of shopping here. Coastal is great. Excellent employees are the only sort I've run into. Thank you.

I come here somewhat frequently and get the feeling they are simply not LGBT friendly. I cant think of another reason why more than 1 cashier here have seemed literally uncomfortable serving me. Otherwise, I like Coastal. But having read the other reviews here, it seems other people have noticed similar treatment too.

I miss this being a Supply One store until 2001. My dad who passed away and I called it the "Guy Store." Was sort of like a smaller Home Depot with lumber and various home improvement departments. Too bad the horrible ownership forced them to liquidate, but I'm happy that a nice company like Coastal can keep the building going

What can you say about Coastal F & R. They have everything that I'm looking for from pellet grill supplies to work attire. I purchased my Green Mountain pellet grill there a few years ago and use it all the time. They have good prices on their Georgia boots and Carhartts work clothes.

Great looking store, I would recommend hiring Spanish speaking staff and paying accordingly for how much customers they're likely to support. While at the store I saw many Latino families and clearly staff and management cannot communicate and provide high quality service to a Spanish speaking customer. Also, cashier incorrectly rang up my purchase. Again great store, but properly staff to serve customers well.

We go to Coastal for supplies, but we also go to clCoastal to walk around when the weather is bad (in Oregon) and we need to get out of our house. They let us bring our dog. They have baby chickens. They have duck food so that we give ducks at the local park the best food options. And best of all, they have a decent kid's selection of Carhart.

James the worker behind the guns counter was super rude and cussed out a customer. Then Daniel the manager of the store came because the customer asked for a manager and Daniel was no help at de-escalating the situation and was rude to the customer as well. After witnessing this, I no longer will shop at Coastal.

Huge store with a wide selection. I don't even think I have walked the bulk of it. Alot of feed varieties. I feel like the impulse buy stuff runs a little pricey (for instance wild bird feeders) while their mainstay stuff runs closer to cost. Good place helpful to both rural and urban farmers I'm sure.I've never seen chicken diapers before. So. There's that too..
