Seeing as I had stopped in to WEED, California for breakfast and seen the magnificent Mount Shasta for the first time it seemed like a beautiful "bookend" to stop into this food oasis in GRASS VALLEY after sighting Mount Hood to the west before I got into town.I wish I had known about this place when planning my route north and had read the glowing reports from people lucky enough to have eaten here. I would have sat down and indulged. What I can confirm is that the staff were very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the shelves of wines looked tantalizing....and the kitchen smelled delicious.I have marked this unique little spot in my map book and shall time any future trips with enough time so sit down and EAT!!!!

Take the time to carve a path through Grass Valley and check out the Grass Valley Country Market, the country store with everything you could need and friendly, accommodating people! We barely made it before closing, and we are stoked we did! A very cool stop and another town knocked off of #thegreatoregonburgerbucketlistA very solid burger. Excellent meat, quality beef cooked well. Smokey bacon cooked to a slight crisp. I did add a little extra mayo from the condiment counter. Decent veggies. A very tasty bun, maybe fresh made? Buttered and toastedExcellent fries. Battered and tasty. Crispy on the outside and soft inside.Very tasty chicken. Fried well with a great blend of spices.Sliders were surprisingly different tasting than the regular cheeseburgers. The market itself is a very cool little spot. Has just about every food or drink category you could need, including liquor! Indoor and outdoor seating, and very friendly staff. Grass Valley is a charming little villa. Check it out the next time you're in the area

A hidden gem! I had driven past this place dozens of times. From the outside it looks rather humble, like the rest of this town. But on the inside, I discovered a decently stocked grocery, an attentive deli, and lots of local history to explore. I plan to come back.

The food is amazing. I ordered a simple BLT and it was excellent. I saw plates going to other diners with delicious-looking breakfasts. This place is going to be a regular stop for sandwiches, burgers, and breakfasts. Was able to get a nice fast charge on my car (>120kW!) while eating, I thought it was going to be slow and took my time eating and came out to a fully-charged car.Couple of warnings about the charger.1. card reader is broken and you have to use the app to start a charge, which requires internet.2. I didn't have mobile service. Market has WiFi but if you get there when they are closed you have no way to get online to download the app. I recommended to the staff that they slap QR codes on the DCFC dispenser for the WiFi and the app in the play/app stores.3. The app is janky, the setup process for a new account requires clicking links sent via email *and* SMS (not one or the other - both!). With mobile service not working.....yeah. Fortunately used a Google Voice number to be able to get a SMS over the market's WiFi. The whole app experience has that "I paid my sister's nephew $50 to code it" feel.Bottom line - if you are going to stop here install the app (OpConnect) and set up a payment account in advance, you won't waste half an hour dealing with getting WiFi, getting your account set up, and so on.I recommended to the staff in the market that they slap QR codes on the charger for the WiFi and the app.

This was a fantastic place! It has all the charm of an old time country market with all the excellent cuisine of a fancy restaurant! The proprietors are friendly, welcoming folks. Those burgers were the chest I've had in a long while! Plus, we had old friends with us which always makes everything better!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Pretty much everything on the menu is customizable and made to order. Our burgers were delish. Fries and tots were sinfully crunchy. The owners are welcoming and friendly. We will definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Lunch was awesome. Great sandwiches! The lady who took our order and delivered our sandwiches could have been a little more polite. Felt like an inconvenience. Maybe she was just having a bad day.

Located in Grass Valley Oregon We found wonderful cafe located in small grocery market. Grass Valley is located at the half point between Bigs Junction Oregon and Bend Oregon population less than 200. My husband and I stopped for lunch and boy howdy was it good. I had the chicken gizzards and they were the best I've ever had. Lightly breaded and well cooked I added a side salad it was just perfect. My husband had a hamburger. They totally let him customize his order. They provide a check list with everything they offer that way you get exactly what you like. They do that for the pizzas too.Well worth the stop. This place clean and neat with plenty of personality.

You'll be surprised what you find inside here if you're like me, and only stopped because I was on a road trip and had to pee. It's a liquor store, resturaunt, basic goods, if they don't have it you probably don't need it kind of place. I don't know how you make a grilled cheese so crispy and perfect but they figured it out. This town is rediculously charming and this little stop has earned it's spot as a regular stop on baseball road trips. If you have 4 minutes to pop in and out, I'm sure you'll leave with a smile.

Traveling through Oregon this last Septemver, we came across this market/deli. What a hidden gem! Having never stopped there before it was a wonderful respite on our 6 hour driving journey. My husband and daughter both had a hot turkey sandwich and I had a BLT. We also ordered some french fries to share. Everything was delicious! Josh was very welcoming and the service fantastic. The small seating area clean and comfortable. Would stop there again if ever traveling nearby.

Awesome small town country market experience. This little market packs a ton of great stuff into one tiny place, offering great hot food, groceries, cold drinks and beer and even a full liquor store into one incredibly friendly package. They serve breakfasts, lunches (burgers, deli meat sandwiches, on site fresh made pizza), salads and dinners with daily specials like tacos and fish 'n chips. A real winner!

It's the only store in our little town. They are growing and getting in more products every week. They also serve Breakfast, lunch. I'm not sure if they serve dinner or not. Folks in there are always very kind and sweet.
