Over the last few weeks you have gone from lots of self-checkout stations to none today. You started to save some of the stations for + members and spark whatever that is. Today there were only + and spark available and no one other than a lowly clerk to ex-plane what the new system was. Shoppers were busting the line and the situation was out of control. When I finally left even that lane was closed. Who is the mental moron that is changing all this willy-nilly? No planning, no person in charge with authority or knowledge to explain the situation. People were abandoning their carts and walking out. I had to go to a cashier to check-out and she wasn't very pleasant and spent the whole time talking to her friend. So I'm lucky that there is a Winco across the street and Fred Meyer next door. You will surely lose my business. And if you think this plan will drive use to sign up for the + service, think again. This is an older community with a lot of folks retired on fixed income. no +More from my next visit!!! - This was the visit from hell! First off, one item, no self check available except + and spark. Long lines everywhere, slow cashiers. When I was third from the cashier where I could see what was going on, the cashier had a Hispanic family of four that was having trouble with English. They were trying to buy a bottle of wine and the cashier was trying to get ID from everyone. Two adults, one boy that was probably 18 and a girl that was 7 or 8. The father was trying to tell the cashier that he was the one buying the wine and all she needed was an ID from him. The cashier was still trying to get ID from the mother and the older boy. Why??? it was obvious that the little girl was not 21 so what was she doing?? Nothing but holding up the line. How unprofessional. There was at least 20 self-checkout stations that were not being used because of your new policy. Just plain stupid. Don't make us honest folks pay for the few that steal, open up the self checkouts!!

Came in to buy a few items before going to the park. Watched the lines back up while they close self check out. Lines were getting so long so quickly that not even 3 minutes after closing self check out they had to re-open them. The line I was in was at-least 10 people long and growing and they had 5 lanes open. My reviews staying a 1 star and you should do the same until they keep self check open or have a full staff of cashiers. This was also around 1pm when they are normally super busy.

Everything is locked up and it will take forever for an overworked employee to finally make it over to unlock... A fishing lure. Yeah, better to go anywhere else. They haven't locked up the groceries yet but that's probably just because they haven't thought of it yet.

If I could give it zero stars I would. I have had nothing but negative experiences every time I go there. About a month ago I got off work in the evening to buy a grill and the worker I asked help from didn't think I could put the grill in my vehicle and when he thought I walked about started calling me a stupid girl to another coworker. Another time about 3 weeks ago went to grab a few groceries a lady was standing next to me watching me check out and as I was paying was arguing with me I didn't scan the coconut water I printed the receipt and showed her I did in fact scan the water she continued to argue that I didn't cause it wasn't showing up on her tablet and that I'd need to pay for it before leaving then finally realizing she was looking at the wrong register. Then tonight went for pillow cases asked for help as they were locked up the same worker from the grill incident said he'd call for someone. Someone came handed me the pillow cases I thanked him and walked around the corner to only hear the 2 men again talking down on me this time I confronted them.

I really honestly don’t like going to Walmart. Ever. But I always end up there with a family of 6.The up-side is that there is one particular employee-His name is Ben. (Dark hair, super smiley. I think he’s Asian?.)He goes OUT of his way to help me every time he sees me there. Going through some severe medical problems; to which adds severe anxiety…!it’s nice having someone see that and go above and beyond every time. With everything being technology based, it’s extremely uncomfortable for me because these employees are looking for customers stealing.(Rightfully so.)That being said, the customer service aspect of things have really lost weight. But Ben makes the experience of going to Walmart so much better for me and I really hope that corporate really takes a look at him because they are lucky to have found some of the employees they have.

Cleanest and most friendly Walmart I've ever been to. I felt like I was in Target. The staff here were more helpful than I thought possible from Walmart employees. Probably a well run store, people seemed to be in a good mood.

this places had gone to the worst since they let go of Agil - the most incredible pleasant frontline associate who also volunteers as Initial Attack Wildland Firefighter in our county. Borem the assistant manager could wait for manager Mark to be out of the office to make the power move... apparently Agil with his career and presidential recognition is not worse his respect. He even called cops on him cause he asked for a box to collect his personals. If ANTIFA is around they should remember who upholds the KKK history of the town. They power played him while he was still recovering from head injury he received at Work. Chris the pale coach who gets flipped off by Walmart customers was eager to bleach the place along with Borem and so was Danny. Michael was ineffective on his own. The Graybills who fix Agil's salary both at Grayback and Walmart must be very proud of their involvement.

Went to buy aloe vera waters, and they do not carry any at all, even though the website says it does..... waste of fuel and time....

The old lady in electronics is a painful experience. She was helping a girl get headphones out of case, the girl wouldn’t make up her mind. I sat there patiently waiting for 10 minutes while she went back and forth with the girl about options and finally just asked if she could get the JBL speaker in the case right next to it for me. I knew exactly what I wanted it would take 20 seconds and I would have walked to counter with her and the girl to get rung up whenever the girl made up her mind on which 10$ headphones she wanted. But she told me to go to the counter and stand in line. There was no other employees in the electronic section and there was no one in line at the counter 100 feet away. So I told her how absurd that was, and walked to go out of the store and ordered it on Amazon for 20$ less before I even got out the door and had it the next morning. Thanks! Come up with a better system because you’re losing money not just off one sale, but on repeat customers who won’t waste their time like that again.

This is the worst Walmart I have ever shopped at. I come in most days to check to see if my stuff has been restocked and the answer 9 times out of 10 is no. I have called and asked for the store manager to call me back and of course no call. This store is poorly run. They don't hire enough cashiers, and now they have closed all the self check out lanes, so you spend about 15-20 min in lines all about a mile long. Their pharmacy is the same way except most times it looks like an hour wait to get your meds. So the thing to do is to go in during non peak hours or shop in Medford where they at least stock most of the items regularly.

Not the doing of the very nice and patient young man who was the self- checkout attendant- he had to create 3 new items in the system to record my after- Christmas gift wrap, which, of course, had no bar code. It couldn't be just one entry x 3 - no, in their Infinite wisdom Walmart discontinued quantities in self-checkout, so he had to key in the whole 8 step routine 3 times! I feel like I asking for a bigger discount- not only should I get a discount for doing my own checkout, but for my time while waiting for ridiculous inefficiencies that they created!

I went into the grants pass walmart and asked if I could exchange a 24" bike that was gifted to my 8 yr old son. I didn't bring the bike bcuz I have a sedan and knew it would be a hassle getting it into my car the ladies at customer service were friendly and asked the manager on duty due to the fact I didn't have the receipt the manager said that it would be okay for instore credit which was wonderful for me as I just wanted to exchange the bike for a powered scooter that cost 50 more than the bike. It was 3 days later that I had the time to load the bike up into my car and bring it in. This time the lady at customer service immediately said NO I asked for the supervisor or manager bcuz I had already gotten the okay before attempting to put this bike in my car. The manager on duty this day refused to do it even though I told her the day and rough estimate of the time and described the manager that told me yes. Still they wouldn't do it. I get if it's the policy but I went in and asked and was told yes so I fought getting that bike in my car just to be told no and then had to fight to get in back in my car again is just all around wrong

I was spending close to 1/2 my paychecks at Walmart....until they locked up everything and closed self checkout. They make me feel like a criminal for just wanting to look at things while I shop. That's why it's called SHOPPING. They also wont let you return video games that have been opened, with the game right inside the case in perfect condition(the game sucked 🤷♀️) with the receipt....merely because its opened. I hope I live long enough to watch Walmart burn 💗

Employees are really sweet and always great customer service! However, the curbside pickup is SLLLOOOOWWWW. Save yourself the headache and just go inside to shop, or expect to wait 10+ minutes if you're the only car. Expect 30+ if there's anyone else.

Fred Meyer and Winco will get my money now that they are playing games with self checkout. This is to condition users to their new app nonsense. Get ready to sign up for free and then once you are used to that you will pay for the privilege to shop with Walmart Diamond Class Plus Plus Check Plus or you will have to use the one checkout isle with the slowest mother effing cashier they will provide to the rest.

They had us waiting for FOUR hours in the parking lot for order pickup back in 2020. Yes, it was during the whole covid thing.. however, they were able to bring out the orders of every other customer that arrived after us, so.. they had just decided to ignore us for whatever reason. We had to complain to several different people over the course of the four hours before our order was finally brought out. That experience was absolutely ridiculous and there was no excuse for it.

I've never liked Grant's Pass Walmart. The gals that work there are very kind & helpful. Some of the younger guys need to work on their hygiene. They are representing Walmart and by the looks of some of the guys, I would be imbarased. Plus poor hygiene is full of germs touching our food, clothing etc.. I think it's gross.Who designed clothes for Walmart? You really need to fire them and hire someone who has style and class. Who knows how to put style back in the meaning of the word. I'm a plus girl and the styles make me look old and foolish. Cute styles for the younger kids but butt ugly for the adults. I'll shop else where. My husband said the same about his line of clothing, no good t-shirts. What 60 year old wants to where a casual t-shirt with SpongeBob on it.

The ideal time for shopping is 6am in the morning when they open or late at night. Since the remodel updates earlier this year it's difficult to get two shopping carts past each other. Also very sadly a lot of the employees don't know nothing about the Walmart app, it seems they're not trained or educated on its use and abilities. This is definitely a downfall on Walmart properly training it's employees and managers for that matter.

i went to return ink cartridges and the folks in customer service were super rude DID NOT REFUND ME MY MONEY OR HONOR MY RETURN .. then they send me back to electronics and I go up to the CSR she turns around and asked me what the hell I wanted . they can either give me a gift card or i'm going to the BBB. and there will be HUGE problems for that store. not to mention all the OSHA and wiring , fire hazard huge violations in the ways of safety. all of their employees are rude as hell to me even though I am kind to them. i know the policies because i was a employee many many many years ago. before customer care went down hill and the lack of "the customers right mentality completely out the window. " they can send me $100 gift card to make up for the ways i was treated TERRIBLY.

I went shopping today. I shop here all the time. Spend a good amount of money there weekly. I was asked to show my receipt at the door before leaving. I'm sorry but I do not need to feel like a criminal after I have spend hundreds of dollars a month to shop there. I've been in retail my entire life surely you can come up with something better than to offend good paying customers. I know theft is a big issue but I was totally offended by this!!!

A shocking display of a lack of responsibility and dereliction of any sort of service. The shelves are empty and pallets of unopened merchandise are everywhere. We dropped off our car for an oil change and did some shopping. They could not find the oiL filter. We had to walk miles to get one while our food melted. The reality of the situation is that we would pay money not to have to set foot in Walmart. The company's motto which is "Save money. Live better", is a contradiction of reality.

At the checkout lane, bottles of water that do not have prices posted on them cost twice as much as bottles of water that you bring from the Shelf in the back of the store. Walmart trades on the fact that you trust them not to take advantage of you and double-check every price. This whole strategy is morally bankrupt

Most of the people were rude and not helpful and alot of workers standing around talking. Also get rid of the self check out, get back to the people to people contact and maybe some won't be as rude and the self checkout computers seem to always be broke or something else wrong with them. Also getting rid of the plastic or paper bags at checkout was the dumbest idea ever, some people don't have bags or don't have extra money to buy bags. Things need to be cleaned up and done and have your workers more people to people contact. This is multi billion dollar company you can afford to have plastic or paper bags at checkout for people to use

I had about $150.00 worth of goods, went to check out and she was about to start ringing me up. Then I asked her if they had bags. She said they haven't had bags for 7 months. So I left everything on the counter and walked out. I won't be going back! So then I went over to Winco to shop. I'm so fed up with Walmart.

Walmart has really changed! Security things every person who walks in the door is going to steal from them. Was watching what they were doing to a husband anx wife who walked in the store. The somehow got the camera to bring their voices close enough to Har their conversation . Than after listening they started making jokes about what they were talking about. I think that's is none of their business. They should not be all up in someone's conversation. I understand making sure someone don't steal, but that's taking it to far period.

Lines are terrible do to lack of lines open with real live human cashiers. Everything I need seems to be locked behind glass doors due to high theft. Never seen their recycling center open. Homeless in parking lot makes it uncomfortable leaving your vehicle at this location.
