Supposedly they had approved their lunch hours a month ago as 1:30pm-2:00 pm on Google, but they closed today 1:00 - 2:00.If you need to use the bathroom stop off at the Customer Service desk and get the unlock code so you save a trip to the front. The bathroom is right next to the pharmacy.

I have been going here for over 8 years but now it's hands down been worst experience I have ever had at any and I mean any pharmacy in multiple states. They now REFUSE to answer their phones and say they are short staffed but many elderly people don't have internet and can only call in too check or refill meds. I now know of OVER 9 elderly people who take multiple medications daily and have had to go without due to the staff nit answering. I was with one and she was put on hold and we waited 1.25 hours and they finally pick up and hung up on her. I know it's not their fault being short staffed however at the very least pick up the phones!!! Will it take a diabetic coma or heart attack before they answer phones

Safeway Pharmacy is the only pharmacy myself, my family of 5, and all of my extended family will go to. They are always prompt and willing to help, where many other pharmacies will rarely even answer their phones. They always keep me updated regarding prescriptions, orders, or billing questions. Their pharmacists and techs are knowledgeable and kind.I recommend them to everyone who is looking for a better pharmacy, with genuine staff that truly care for their patients!

Friendly staff and great service. Usually don't have to wait very long at all. I have to give them credit and lots of it. How they stay professional and nice when they have a total Karen yelling at them is beyond me. Happy they stick it out and do so well because not everyone is so professional

Today, I had issues with my childs urgent care prescription. The Pharmacy Manager gave me details on the best way to have the medicine switched to something they had in stock so I didn't have to wait until Monday.They had his prescription ready for pickup immediately. I am so grateful and will be staying here for the long haul. I've searched for a good pharmacy and think I've finally found it at safeway.

I've had multiple issues with other pharmacies and finding my babies medication but %95 of the time Safeway has it. And if they dont they have ordered it promptly. Its been really a life saver. Everyone there has been kind to me and my family and very helpful. Im so appreciative having them so close to me and so nice. It honestly makes me feel safer knowing how great they are and that they always have/get what I need.

I read some of these reviews esp, the bad ones and I realized that I had experienced some of the same things in the past here. But one day when the poor tech was totally overwhelmed with people and the line of people waiting was huge I tried something different. I complimented her on her fingernails (which were gorgeous) and voila! there was a real person waiting on me with problems at home and a job she might not like all the time. She instantly lit up and we talked about other things. I'm not a Pollyanna but I do this with whoever helps me out and they always go the extra mile. We all need to remember how hard the last few years have been on everyone and start treating people accordingly.

I Love Safeway Pharmacy! The assistants there are always kind and helpful. Sure the lines at times can be long and it's not their fault because other pharmacies in town are closing down. You just have to be patient as they fill all new incoming scripts. Everyone there does a great job!😁😁😁

By far the worst pharmacy in grants pass. Make nothing clear as far as signage, the rudest pharmacy staff I've ever encountered in 50 yrs. Tried to give my 12 yr old the incorrect vaccine not approved for 12 yr olds, whether on the phone or in person worst customer service I've ever seen in a pharmacy. Clearly I'm not the only one that's thinks this way, but they won't change, they don't care. The manager thinks a pharmacy should be run like a grocery store, nott a medical facility. Tried to get 4 people the boosters they promised the day before was just fine. Not only could we not get said shots, they gave zero help in where that could be done. Got more help from a customer. Should be applauding our efforts not making it harder. Just go anywhere else. Safeway needs to get out of the pharmacy business and stay in their lane, although this is not a very good Safeway all around. I actually liked Safeway in CA, pricier but nicer....great delis. Here just pricier, absolutely nothing nicer then any other grocery store

I honestly hope this place burns after how many times I’ve been disrespected and yelled at by pharmacy staff. Both of the older women are extremely rude and have absolutely no customer service skills they simply treat customers like dirt. Especially the lady with red hair and awful makeup who thinks it’s acceptable to raise her voice and yell at customers. So not ok!! I’ve been going to this pharmacy for years my entire family has. just recently in the last year we have noticed a change in way they treat customers, we have had so many bad experiences it’s just unacceptable. I will never ever use this pharmacy again it makes me so sad and disgusted to see the way the employees act. I have never felt so disrespected

Ashley the pharmacy manager is wonderful. Always very helpful and knowledgeable regarding all medications and questions! All the techs are friendly and prompt. I think they would do very well with a cashier to lift their load as they get swamped with lines and it would create a quicker, more efficient process in picking up medicine.

I get my perscriptions here only. The pharamcist is very knowledgable. As for the rest of the store, the staff is always very friendly and helpful. I prefer going to this one over the one on Williams Hwy because I feel like it's easier to find items and they have a clearance section in the back by the meat and door to the back of the store. It has saved me a lot of money looking there. Make sure to download the Safeway app bc you can get good deals on there, including accumulating rewards points. There is 4x, 3x, 2x the points on the app you can clip and sometimes a completely free item you can clip. $100 spent equals 1 reward point. Adds up faster if you do the 4x etc. the points. I've gotten free toilet paper, paper towels, a whole roasted chicken or a certain amount of money off my next purchase! Great way to buy food items with your food stamps and get points to save yourself on cash items by getting them for free with your points you accumulate! Make sure to go to "my list " at the bottom, in the app after you clip any item or it won't register when you go to check out. Just press the circle next to the item, in my list, to add it.

Call and schedule and appointment for a vaccine. They don't even bother to call you to say they ran out of that type and the other type will cost nearly double. Then if take anytime to go outside and make a decision they tell you it's too late your appointment is over and they don't do walk ins what a joke.

The people and the pharmacists there have sense of customer service. They are ALL rude. None of them know what they are doing. I've been hung up on, yelled at and made to wait for meds for upto 2days that I needed the day I turned in my script. I switched to this pharmacy from a Medford pharmacy. All I can say is I will be switching pharmacy's again. The lack of kindness it takes to work with sick people or people who are in pain was not in these people's training! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

If you like for your pharmacy to have friendly service or you need your medication in a timely manor, this Safeway pharmacy isn’t for you. I called to check on my medication that was two days late and I was told they are 500 deep and hang up on by Terrie. Awful!

All pharmacies have lines of folks waiting for service. The Safeway folks seem to do really well at moving folks along quickly while still being friendly and personable.

You should never have to wait this long to pick up a prescription, the line will be all the way down isle 11 a lot of the time. It's been getting progressively worse for a while now but they make absolutely zero effort to find a solution for the long wait times. I used to like this pharmacy but the lines are just unforgivably long now.

The customer service at the Safeway Pharmacy is the worst I have ever seen any where and not to mention extremely slow. There is no such thing as a 15 minute wait. More like an hour everytime I go and pick up prescriptions for my boyfriends parents. Absolutely horrible.

Filled a prescription here for the first time and experienced Terrie. Never have a had someone in a pharmacy be so determined to be difficult and unhelpful. Rude behavior and made me feel so unwelcome. Will not be back.

They never have your medicine on time. Everytime I give them my scripts they tell me to come back in 2 hours. Call to check if they are ready and they continue to tell you 30 mins over and over again. Always have an attitude.

Great store in a great location. While the mega grocery stores are less expensive the employees and convenient location make it worthwhile. Larisa in pharmacy and Dave in store are great people.

Every time I go to this pharmacy they are out of my medication and tell me to come back another day. Even when I come back the next day, its either on hold, ran out or I need to jump through some hoops to get it. I highly recommend going to another pharmacy.

LoVe these guys..used for many years ..irs true about the bathroom tho. They have a beautiful room next to the pharmacy not many people know about it. There's a tv in there and it shows a calming fish tank on it. Waited in there for my rx a few times ☺🤗👍🏻✝💙❤
