This location is so much better than the 7th St. store. Wider isles, greater selection, and nicer displays. I am glad I did my weekly shopping there today.

This Safeway, as all the others I've been to, is a good one.Very helpful employees, kind and considerate. The store is laid out well, however, it can be confusing for first time buyers. So it takes some getting used to, yet, any employee can help and is ready.The store was recently remodeled and it's much easier to navigate more quickly now.I recommend signing up as a 'club member' (your phone number, etc.), Then you can get better pricing for most things. Moreover, the points you accumulate with purchases can be used to get discounted gas at applicable locations, like Chevron; it just depends on how much you've spent with Safeway. Meaning sometimes 10¢ sometimes 40¢, etc.Overall, it's a great location to get what you need, whatever that may be, since they usually have it.

Great place to get some excersise. Don't know why they have taking to restocking during the day but it is ridiculous. Isles are blocked and they make little effort to allow people to pass.

I like this Safeway, the problem is with delivery using the Safeway app. I wanted to set up a Schedule and Save with delivery but it says it won't deliver to 97527 but will to 97526, which is weird because the store is in 97527. Instead it directs me to Albertsons which is actually farther away.

Every time I go to this Safeways deli they only have breasts and drumsticks prepared. As if the employees are instructed to do so and only prepare breasts on a made to order basis. LAME!

My father has a walking disability. There were scooter carts available so he had to walk for todays shopping. The manager lady comes up behind us as we’re shopping “excuse me gentleman” we turned around and this lady has the audacity to say “I don’t feel comfortable with you guys in here. This old man is creeping us out” We didn’t even talk to anyone and we were just getting the things we needed but she was so rude towards us for no reason. Like I said, my dad has a walking disability, for someone to say that just because how he walks is immoral…It doesn’t mater how they walk, talk, act you don’t know what they have and you should treat them with respect. I would give “0” stars if this was possible. You really hurt my dads feelings for something he has no control over. What a POS manager you are!

Updated review: purchased a load of curbside groceries and it was as to be expected except the caterpillar ridden half dead corn which was passed off as produce. If this is a reason not to shop there or to go in and do your own work this is it.

I can count on Safeway to have a variety of choices. They are full of customers and they have plenty of cashiers to check you out quickly. I like that they carry ethnic food as well as well as the usual staples. I like to shop there for fresh meat and organic produce. There's a bakery and a deli, too.

I would have liked the visit but clearly the staff are unhappy. I’m not sure if I blame them but passing it on to the customer is certainly unwarranted. I get that staffing is an issue in all industries, but that shouldn’t be a burden placed on people just getting groceries and trying to get on with their day. Additionally, please educate your staff on service dogs. Another customer was yelled at for their dog in the store. I have no idea if it was a service dog but your employee yelling across the aisle that the person would need to provide papers to the manager is incorrect and unprofessional.

I don’t go to this one all the time but yesterday I had two employees that were actually nice and tried to help me at customer service. We couldn’t solve my issue but not for lack of effort. Thank you guys!

These are my people! I love the staff, they always take time to say hello and interact with my daughter. We go almost daily and have never had a rude encounter and that is huge in my book. Grants Pass has a ton of ruffians and they deal with it very well!

I used to love going to Safeway. They have some very good products including produce and some different products, other stores don't carry. Any problem with a product, customer service is there to help. Nice people work there. They are a little higher priced so I used their coupons. However, now that I won't download their app, can only use the digital coupons, and shop with a phone, I go there very seldom.

Tania in the floral department was AWESOME. She was super efficient and friendly. I came in with my own balloons and to purchase a fancy balloon. She kindly explained that there would still be a charge to inflate my balloons. The charge was reasonable. She did a lovely job of color coordination on the ribbons to tie all the balloons in. What a pleasure she was to work with.

Daily shopper for 3 years. The past 3-4 times I've bought food from the deli it was sad. I bought 2 egg salad sandwiches and there's was literally a spoonful of egg salad on it. Sucks because they're $6.49 each. Never had many issues until recently

Dread shopping there after many many years. Cashiers & most of the help not as friendly anymore stressed & never smile from newly hired cashiers. Everything is digital & after checking products on my smartphone items are NOT ringing up correctly with sale price. Timing consuming to say the least!

This is my go to grocery store. It was recently remodeled, so it’s a little bit hard to find things. The store is always clean. I would give five stars but they’re often out of items. I’m not sure if this is for most stores since the pandemic or what.

Please downliad the safeway app today and scan away your saving right at checkout. Great coupons. Great store. Poor management skills as far as i was concerned. More worried about talking rather than getting the lines taken care of. Great cashiers though. Good courtesy clerks. Overall it could use some TLC. Great customer service except management

the dark hair lady that works in customer service is horrid!! she is rude to the staff that come to her and shes rude to customers. the desk opens at 9 and when employees ask her to come out she flat refuses. says no shes busy. her name is jennie

I usually shop there 2 days a week. I always use their App and have received some free items by using my Rewards. My only issue is that some weeks about 50% of the items I want to purchase have a different price on the shelf rather than on the App. The Customer Service person told me the correct price is always on the App. I have tested it out and she is correct. It just is a little confusing. We do like their meat and they've had some very good prices. We also like their produce. They are also conveniently located by our house.
