I used to love going to this drift store but over the years the prices have gone up so high it cost less to shop at a retail store or online. This is extremely disappointing considering It benefits the humane society but I just cannot bring myself to spend money at a place that price gouges so badly. This is not helping the community or the animals. I really encourage the humane society to take a look at what's going on in the store and find someone that can price things more appropriately. It also wouldn't hurt to have someone working at the front desk who had a better attitude I hardly want to walk into the place because the person checking you out had such a gruff disposition. $3 for an old beanie baby $15 for a coffee mug $75 for used shoes is criminal!! DO BETTER!!

So it has a lot of items to look at and its location is easy to find, that's about all I can say positively about this thrift store. It's my belief that thrift stores are suppose to be reasonably cheap for used items. For example mugs should be .99 each. Shirts and blouses $2.00 and small knick knacks at the most shouldn't cost over $4.00This place you could spend half your paycheck in and come home with maybe a bag. In my opinion they are over priced! A Keychain was priced at $12.00! What? So if you are seeking real deals do yard sales on the weekends. If you don't mind spending $10 on a woman's blouse this is your place to shop!

Walked into the store and didn’t even take about a step before the worker said I absolutely could not have my dog in the store. Didn’t even get a chance to say if she was a service dog just told us to get her out. I was just going in to check out and see what it’s about and support the local animal shelter. But I’d rather drive to the shelter and donate that way instead.

Lots and lots of great stuff to be found here at ok prices. Since the money goes to the animals I didn't mind spending money here at all. I love the setup of the store. Heads up - the woman who works the front desk is an anti-masker, so if you are wearing a mask and she's rude to you, that's why. Overall a cool store!

High priced items for a thrift store especially compared to other thrift stores in the area and other humane society thrift stores

This is my favorite little place to find something fun for a need. I have been there in 2 long. So it made me feel good to mask up and go Thrift store shopping.I hate to say too much nice about it because I don't want everybody to go there. Now that's pretty selfish of me how the prices are good the stuff is always coming in to support the animals and the people who work there.I was impressed at how nicely they had it fixed up. They've been busy using the pandemic time out nicely.

I want to love this place so much! It falls flat in a lot of ways. I can't move around in there without feeling like I'm going to break something. The shelves are over crowded. The few times I have gone (always closed) the staff have been short and very rude. I would donate there but they are too picky yet always have cheap, old product. They really need a bigger place, nice staff who care and a major update. I love the cause and end up usually just donating a fee dollars when I see their collection jars at other stores.

Outrageously high priced, $15 for a coffee mug? Come on! Sweaters for $20? Go somewhere else super disappointing.

I'd love to see them in a larger building to help accommodate more stock. The staff is great and super helpful. I always find something worth taking home. I don't like shopping at large corporate "thrift" stores.

Reiterating what another person posted: the prices aren't set for bargain hunters. $20 for Corning ware is retail. I saw a LOVELY piece of carnival glass and I was sure to buy it for my collection... $24 and it was mold blown, not handmade. I would pay $4-6 for that elsewhere. The garage sale area was a steal though, and for books and CDs etc it's generally $1 per.

I went about a week ago and the prices are way too high. I get that it is for charity but prices were as if the item was new. I also thought the outside was supposed to be yard sale style were it was cheaper or by the bag but it was not. Who ever is doing the pricing should re-evaluate their approach.

I went into the place with a emotional support dog so he could pick out another buddy, since his other buddy recently passed away. I was rudely told to take my dog out to the car. I have donated food and money to this place will no longer after being rudely treated like that. Thanks ok a 10yr old dog from Merlin a animal shelter benefited and for now in my donations will go there. I understand wanting the dog in the car, but to be so rude about it. Again it's the humane society loss and Merlin shelters gain.

I went to this place and I went to get help with getting dog food for my puppy. Never before have I had to do this but this month I had ran into some financial problems with some medical expensive that we didn't expect to come up and the lady that I got the dog food from was very rude and disrespectful. She talked down to me and my husband because we needed help. I will never go there again. I had a horrible time there and I don't appreciate being treated like crap when I need a little extra help one time!

A place where you can load a bag for $3.00 in a section, sometimes you can make out, others hmmm not meant to be. There electronics and goods cleaned well reasonably priced....and hey all for a wonderful cause.

Proceeds go to the humane society, which gives 73% of the proceeds to lifesaving animal protection programs, while the remaining funds help maintain infrastructure and operations.

By far best thrift store in town, better quality stays local (not like Goodwill that siphons off the good stuff a community donates and sells online or in more expensive markets -boo!).
