So, four years ago I gave a scathing review of the pharmacy. In the past few months there seems to be alot more friendly staff here. They genuinely seem nicer.The front of the house has always been solid here aside from the price gouging, not the employees fault.Anyways, much improved. I wanted you to know that we notice you!

By far the absolute worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They do not care about respecting your time ( Some medication is time sensitive) If you are not in that line of work to help people DO NOT BE IN IT AT ALL. My partner and I both went there NUMEROUS times with copies of the prescriptions and our Vet tried to call it in 3 times for our pet with heart issues that needs meds at certain times. We were told they would not answer the phone and were told they couldn't get us a supervisor that only the pharmacist could talk to us who kept sending us back to the drop off line. In total it was about 3 hours of the run around on top of our Vet calling ALLLLLLL Day long. Not acceptable by any means.

- 100 ⭐️! They have been 10-17 days late on prescriptions for months. They do not answer any phone calls. When I drive the 13 miles (each way) from my house to see what the problem is, I’m told that they are 7,000 prescriptions behind. I tried calling the district manager. No help, just more excuses. My BF crushed his hand, AllCare even had a care coordinator step in and contact the pharmacy. They told her the pain medication had been filled (they declined to tell her they were trying to charge him). The AllCare care team even faxed them after getting no one after 3 calls. AllCare even advised Rite Aid that is post-op and completely covered (they still didn’t complete it correctly). Rite Aid advised All are that they had no antibiotic prescription (Rite Aid had placed it on hold ???). He had an open comminuted fracture (bad). He got his antibiotics 10 days after surgery and 16 days after they were prescribed. A few weeks ago an elderly woman told me it had been 10 days she waited for her heart medication. I watched one of the clerks yell at another elderly woman, because she had to sit down (he was taking forever). I watched another elderly woman try and tell them how difficult it was not to have anyone answer the phone and the 2nd new manager said “what did she want, then filling prescriptions or answering the phone”. I received a text that my BF’s pain medication would finally be ready on the 13th of November (surgery was the 1st). After his first post op and cast change we went to pick up the pills and no one had filled them. The 3rd manager “Dick”, stated it would be 30 minutes. On day 13 that seems reasonable 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️. I left, got him food and came back. As I was leaving a woman smiled and shrugged her shoulders. I advised her why I was upset, that it took 13 days to fill post-op pain pills. The 3rd new manager told me to get out and quit harassing customers. I picked up my phone and started recording. The video is attached. 3 managers in a month, not even knowing what they are doing and treating me like this when I’m obviously crying. Even a church friend said it is illegal (she works in Walmart pharmacy). An AllCare worker advised she already left there and went to a different pharmacy for the same reasons. This place is 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮! RUN!

I switched from Williams Hwy to D St location and things were very nice the first few months. However, I now can rarely get through on the phone, prescription is NEVER ready when it is stated it will be, been put on hold for over an hour only to be hung up on, get hung up on instead of even being put on hold, the list goes on and on. I realize that due to closures, remaining pharmacies have become overwhelmed, but I truly feel that this is used as an excuse to deliver subpar service on a continual basis. Very disappointing

Less than one star should really be an option. Not only do they never answer their phone, they also do not treat their customers with consideration. Prescriptions are NEVER filled within a reasonable hour (even after waiting all day) and the staff in the pharmacy act like they could care less.Staffing issues are everywhere, it’s a lame excuse that this point. Just making eye contact and letting people known the pharmacy is doing the best they can would help. Or maybe send out prescription updates so a trip to town isn’t wasted.

I don't know why the ratings are so low here. The prices are super affordable, the pharmacy is always on top of things and the customer service is amazing. I would give 10 stars if I could.

I had a great experience with Pam at RiteAid. She was helpful and efficient in sorting out my insurance and getting my wife's medication quickly. Pam's knowledge and attention to detail were impressive. I highly recommend RiteAid and Pam for their excellent customer service.

I would give less stars if I could! I have been a loyal customer of Rite Aid pharmacy for 3 decades. I have already transferred most of my family's prescriptions to Express Scripts, but the ones I can't, like my sons ADHD medication are still with Rite Aid. However, they NEVER answer the phones so we can find out if prescriptions are ready before we drive down, only to be told they don't have the medication, or we can wait 30 minutes for them to fill it (days after the prescription was dropped off, mind you). The pharmacist Don is the biggest A-hole on the planet and should not work with the public at all. They must only employ him because they can't find someone better. Their customer service has gone down the toilet, all the people they hire seem to not know how to treat people with decency or kindness. I'm surprised the store is still in business. Everybody seems to be using the pandemic as a crutch and an excuse to be jerks anymore. Not ok.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy! (D St location) They WILL NOT answer their phone at all! I tried for an hour one call after another and they never answered. It just rings and rings! How do you find out if your RX is ready? This is crazy! Horrible customer service or should I say NO SERVICE. UNBELIEVABLE.I called and selected the option saying the call was from a doctor's office and they answered right away. Once the person found out I wasn't from a doctor's office they hung up on me. I'm going in the store and making a formal complaint to the manager. I will never have a RX filled here again.

Never never answer their phone!!!! Rings and rings for hours and they just hang up. The guy at drop off window is one of the rudest people I have ever encountered. Called prescription in for refill over a week ago. I live 40 min away and can’t even call to confirm ready. Can’t get prescription transferred elsewhere because they don’t answer their phone for two days now! Have to drive all the way there to be told no.

I wasn’t going to go to the trouble of giving bad feedback but every rating I read was one star and most said they would have put zero, as I would have as well if possible. All of the reviews I read were people having the same issues. Something is obviously seriously wrong with this pharmacy and something needs to be done to correct it. I think more people need to complain to corporate so something can be done about the horrible service and the lack of empathy and compassion of people who have medical needs that need to be met in a professional way. Also stop giving this pharmacy your business. I will be reviewing better options for sure!

They are nice people for the most part. But they are seriously slow. They never ever Ever ever answer their phones. They do not get your medications filled on time. Infact they will Get a prescription from a doctor's office and not fill it for over a week until you go down there and say "Hey where's my prescription is it ready yet" and they're like "oh we haven't even gotten it started or processed go to the drop off window". Then you have to wait hours longer for it to be ready. I have also seen several People go in and say that they got a call or a text saying that their prescription was ready and they get there and they're told it's not ready and hasn't been processed and they need to go to the drop off window to Get it started. I have also experienced that myself. There was a time where this was the only pharmacy i would go to. They had kind people and were quick and timely. That has changed. I mean Some of these people rely on these medications to literally survive and riteaid is screwing them around. Step it up riteaid you're seriously failing.

I crushed my hand on October 21,2022. Getting my antibiotics and pain meds from rite aid has just been a nightmare. They have had my GF in tears more than once. Antibiotics 16 days after prescribed, pain pills 14 days after surgery. When she finally got my pain medication (after 14 days of major pain), she told another person in the pharmacy line what happened (she visits with everyone). The new manager, there have been a new manager every week, yelled at her to leave the store and quit talking to customers. So, she took her phone out and started recording. He actually stated he was calling the cops while she was crying. WTH is wrong with these people???? They are really an embarrassment! We have heard from AllCare, other clients, other businesses to leave Rite Aid. Their care is so bad!!!!

Don't bother trying to call.. I wish they would just take number down if they aren't going to bother answering it.So now you need to go into the store and waste hours waiting in line and waiting for the refill."Why don't you just use the automated service?" well because it can never seem to find refills available when they ever-so-clearly are..If the phone operators are non-existent ~ and the pharmacy itself has all of the charm and efficiency of a DMV visit. Do we really expect their automated back-end to work any better? (actually I take back what I said about the DMV. Ours is very good in comparison)Seriously, go LITERALLY anywhere else for your pharmacy - even Walmart would be a better experience.

EDIT TO ADD: I ended up calling corporate and the next day, the pharmacy manager gave me his cell number so i can check when my scripts will be available. It's taken a lot of stress off me and my anxiety is grateful for the opportunity to have that access. Moving up to 4 stars for being SO helpful last week when I was in the hospital and needed my pain medication before going home. He was on it and made sure I didn't go home empty handed. I hope they can hold on to this energy.If I could give zero stars, I would. I have medications that if I skip doses it could be life threatening. They NEVER answer the phone and have been put in jeopardy every single month I've been with them. 2 months ago they told me and my drs office that they had the medication in stock and will fill it. I got there and they informed me they dont have any and they didnt actually check. It really seems like they just dont care about the customers at all. If the other rite aid hadnt had the med, i would have been hospitalized. I wish I had better options but due to finances and lack of insurance coverage, I'm stuck here. This is incredibly frustrating and the stress just makes me more sick. I'm just going to call corporate every month until they fix their staff

They wont answer the phone. So I opened an online account which doesn't tell you if they are filling it. Over a week later they call to tell me my prescription was ready. And when you get there to pick it up you have to wait 30 minutes for them to have it ready?!! Then you have wait in line again when they call your name, Its ridiculous!!! My heart meds always have to be ordered and it takes over a week?? I have been using them 20+ years. Im fed-up!!!

If I could leave negative stars I would. One of the worst pharmacy staffs ever. Not only do they refuse to answer their phones but they tell you your prescription is ready through texts then you drive down there and they tell you have to wait an hour. They told me my son with a disability just needs to join a sport instead of taking medication... Then proceeded to tell me that sports will heal his autism pretty much. 🤪 Thank you so much but hard pass on this pharmacy

The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. Pharmacist is very rude, never answer their phone. Done with them! Still haven’t gotten our prescription that they had on their shelf 2 days ago. I guess it’s too much effort to slap a label on it.

Im dont even want to give this place a star. Calling the pharmacy you are 100% guaranteed to be put on hold at any time of the day, and thats if you can even access them through their weird robot loop. When you do call, they are short and extremely rude. They make it clear they absolutely do not care about you or your prescriptions at all. They wont fill them until you call them either and if they do it will take them days unprompted. I am on medications that cause withdraw without them and ive been left crying and waiting numerous times. There is maybe one kind older man that works here. Everyone else just doesnt care. Its worth it to drive out to a farther out walgreens. Worst pharmacy experience of my life. The only good experience i had was my covid shot

This pharmacy is awful. The staff is rude and act as if you're putting them out to do their jobs. I arrived a few minutes after their opening time and they weren't open. Finally almost 20 minutes late, an older guy who turned out to be the pharmacist walked up looking as if he needed a walker, no apologies, nothing to the people who were waiting on them! I had called the night before and was told my Rx was ready for pick-up. Then when I got there was told it would be a few minutes to get it ready. I was then told the pharmacist needed to consult with me, and he stood there telling his tech some fishing story while I'm standing there waiting, then proceeded to meander around the pharmacy a bit before coming over to consult and finish up with me. I was fuming to say the least! I'll NEVER give them my business again.

No one will answer phone. I've tried calling for days. I know they are short handed but someone should answer the phone about prescriptions. What if it's life threatening if someone can't get their meds? What if they are old and can't drive down to find out what's happening? This is unacceptable by any standards. I feel sorry for the people that work there but this is not ok. When I finally got through to someone they hung up when I said hello.

Not my normal pharmacy, but mine didn't have the breathing meds I needed asap, but rite aid did. The lady there not only was kind and helpful, but could hear my breathing issues and fear. She did the everything in her power to rush it though to get me the medication I needed. Reiterate, not my pharmacy, but this one experience was enough to convince me to switch my entire family over there. Wish I knew her name, but today she was my angel💗 And for those complaining about how long things are taking, find a pharmacy in town that won't do that? Keep u on hold, hang up on u, etc. This pandemic has affected the entire med field, including pharmacies. Walmart, Fred Meyers, Walgreens, Safeway, you'll find the same issues everywhere. Give them a break and remember they werent like this before and will get better.

Starting this summer, they refuse to answer their phones. I changed to another pharmacy eventually. Now my husband has his meds stolen from there and they wont return calls or answer the phone. Terrible customer care.

The Rite Aid store itself is alright, but the pharmacy provides the worst customer service I've ever dealt with! I'm actually a very easy going, down-to-earth person, but I left their pharmacy almost in tears for the way I was treated and the way I was spoken to. It was so unprofessional and unwarranted. I'll be transferring to another pharmacy as soon as possibleAfter note: yup, transferred to Safeway pharmacy and not 1 issue came up with them! No back talk, no rudeness, no attitude problems...just simple, business like, professional and kind at Safeway. Never, ever returning to Rite Aid pharmacy!

I understand under staffed for a pharmacy and maybe i know I don't completely understand your position or how it works. I've called to ask how long a wait would be for prescriptions. The first time I was on hold for 30inutes.... I thought I was forgotten so I hung up recalled now I've been on hold for 1 HOUR 23 minutes and ongoing ..... this is really not okay how does one be put on hold for that long

Literally the worst pharmacy I’ve worked with. Like others said, refills are never done on time. I submitted a refill and was told it would be done the next morning. I’m between insurance, so rather than try to communicate with me about cost, they just cancelled my refill assuming cost was a problem. I had a coupon from GoodRx - which they accept - so it wasn’t a problem. I’ve tried them for a couple months, and they just simply don’t care about their customers. Once I get new insurance next month, I’m done with them. Don’t even get me started on how the app doesn’t work and won’t submit your refills! Don’t waste your time, they’ll surely waste yours

I called ahead at 11:00 to pre order a prescription. I got some snarky female who told me in no uncertain terms that they were just too busy to handle my request.I came into the store at 4:30 and was told it would be another hour.They have gotten way too big and now don’t need to provide good customer service and could care less if you go someplace else.Try Fred Myer, at least they get the need for customer service!!

Something is seriously wrong at this PHARMACY! I was shorted 2 of 3 life-saving inhailers, called 'em to fix it, they did inventory, they SAY they gave me 3 as that is what they chaged me for & insurance paid! They lie! Wonder who's selling scripts on the side???????????

They won't answer the phone. I've called for 3 days straight. There's zero accountability they could care less. They never have basic meds in stock and you'll have to wait days for them to get them in. Customer service is very poor. Would give 0 starts if I could. Go somewhere else

Buyer beware this pharmacy is terrible. The customer service is horrible. The worst i have ever seen in my life i had to pay 50 dollars for a 1 day supply of medication and i have insurance but they never even have a technician there to bill your insurance.i live way far away and try calling before hand and nobody ever answers the phone there either. Total waste of time and money. Take your meds somewhere else!!! they act very rude and treat their customers like trash. I will never use this rite aid again. Walmart here I come!!!
