Called like 10 times and they didn't pick up until I called from in the store. Said my pills would be shipped and it would take a day and when I got there two days later they said they didn't even order them.

If I could give zero, I would as a matter fact as soon as I’m done writing this review, I will be calling corporate. That is the worst Rite Aid I’ve ever seen. The pharmacy is what I’m talking about. They won’t ever pick up their phone. I was trying to help a kid that, I’ve known for many many years get his Keppra for seizures. They won’t answer the phone they said sorry we’re out of it you don’t go without that medicine what is wrong with those people and then they don’t even answer the phone ever don’t ever go to the store I think they’re on break at all times , I meant the Pharmacy I’m not complaining about the store. The pharmacy is like a ghost town … Take your money and your time and go to the one on D St. in grants Pass. Those people are very nice very friendly and they always answer their phone. Maybe they just need to close The store down if no one wants to work.. Sorry, I’m just really frustrated people go to the one on the street I promise you it’s so much better!

My husband has an HORRIBLE, HORRENDOUS, infection from a recent amputation on his foot and we live about 20 minutes out of town and my husband has antibiotics and a pain prescription in their pharmacy and I've been calling for 2 days trying to get ahold of someone to see if they are ready. This is literally the WORST pharmacy you could possibly use. I'm calling their corporate number and complaining. When I explained to my mother about this Rite aid pharmacy problem, she proceeded to call friend after friend and family member after family member and to my horror more than 7 people had extreme complications with this exact pharmacy so we have all decided to call and report them. Never answering phones, being extremely rude to customers, never alerting recipients that their prescriptions are ready, saying they inserted insurance information which shouldve made their prescriptions free but not doing so just to charge people, Retaliating for calling the stores front desk to try and get ahold of the pharmacy, complaining that they have to do their job, taking days or even weeks to transfer prescriptions if you tell them your going to another pharmacy and worst of all... claiming someone already picked them up or purposely misplacing prescriptions so you can't receive them if you piss them off. My family and friends have audio and video recordings and plan to have a past employee (who can verify that there are 2 employees there that frequently make jokes between each other that the customers are "junkies" "morons" and "idiots") call the right authority's and finally fix this places extreme lack of professionalism. Expect there to be mass reporting of this pharmacys inability to do its job.

Worse place to go if you need your prescriptions filled. The people in the pharmacy are rude and talk over you and don't care what you have to say. They are extremely slow getting your prescription ready. They don't use the rite aid app to notify you in any way that your prescriptions are ready. You call and no one picks up the phone. I had to actually call the rite aid main headquarters from them to call the manager to establish that they are not answering phones. And still have the same problem. Definitely will be using somewhere else. And would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am TOTALLY dumbfounded... Just left the William's Highway pharmacy... Will NEVER be back.!! It was 7:48 pm on Friday night when we arrived at the pharmacy. My husband just had an emergency tooth extraction, and we were needing to fill 2 prescriptions. One for a medicated mouth rinse and one for pain. My husband is a 73 year old veteran and and a recently retired teamster. So we have insurance, several of them. There was absolutely No One waiting for Rx's at the time. At 7:55, the man who had taken my husband's identification, and had already Verified our insurance coverage on the computer... Comes back to the counter and said it would be the following morning around 10 am before they would be available.!!So, we asked why they weren't being filled right then and there ...?? His excuse was that they were closing in 5 minutes. I looked around again, nobody waiting in line... I explained that we live 30 miles away. And I asked what is the problem with filling them in the next 5 minutes.??Again this man said... "We are closing in 5 minutes". He said that it takes time to scan the information into the computer... Im gonna emphasize the word SCAN here. Mind you he had already entered information to verify coverage.I asked to talk to someone that can fill these Rx's ... He stepped back towards the woman behind the counter, I presume she is the actual pharmacist. She had a look on her face like... How dare I ask for her to do her job.!! There was 5 minutes, no one else in line... She was still on the clock... Yet we were told NO.!! We could pick up the Rx's in the morning. Even though I will have to drive 30 miles one way over 3 mountain passes to have the prescriptions filled tomorrow, I sure as Hell won't be having them filled there.!! So I took the Rx's and left.Mind you... One Rx had 8 pills to count out, and the other was a sealed bottle that just needed the label affixed to it.!!Wether the Pharmacist is not capable of filling the 2 Rx's within 5 minutes, or she was just unwilling to do her job... Either way, someone needs to rectify this lack of customer service.My next call will be to Corporate, and then to the Oregon Board of Pharmacy in Portland Oregon on Monday morning.If I could give a -⭐, I would.

You cannot reach them by phone, so you have to physically go into the pharmacy for them to start filling a prescription or wait 5 days for them to get to it. Don’t waste your time or gas, and go to a pharmacy you can actually communicate with.

I live super close to this rite aid and have been going there for years for everything. I have never have a bad experience unless I encounter a specific employee. Typically I avoid her and everything is fine, but she felt the need today to announce very loudly to everyone in the store that I didn’t have enough in my bank account to pay. I paid the rest in cash and left.

The staff in the pharmacy as well as the pharmacists I have encountered are all very polite and kind. They all must be caring and patient given the amount of customers they seem to always have. The lines can be a bit long at times, and I have grown to expect that so when the wait is very brief and there's only a few people in line it's a welcome surprise. They work hard to get everyone taken care of in a timely manner and have never been unpleasant even in the busiest of times or when I know I'm not in my typical upbeat mood. Very good customer service. The store in general seems to have issues answering phone calls, however the pharmacy seems to always be the busiest section of the store.

This place is a JOKE they keep patients waiting for their meds they won't answer phones they always use the excuse were short staffed but they won't hire people either ,they need to either get their stuff together and start taken care of patients or close down, it's the only place you u can get a text saying you have prescriptions ready then stand in a line that takes 20 min when u get their and have to wait another 30 min for them to fill the prescription they messaged u saying it was ready . Don't go here find a better place and no I'm not exaggerating

I am appalled that your pharmacist this evening (10/24/23) insisted on arguing with me about the patient education sheet instead of answering my question. Shouldn't she know the answer since the info sheet said to "ask your pharmacist"? Instead, she tried to place blame on the E.R. doctor that wrote the prescription and insisted that I needed to go ask him. There was nothing about this experience that gave me a warm & fuzzy, especially when I was supposed to be home, in bed resting but instead, had to drive back to the pharmacy to ask my question because no one there EVER answers the phone!! Ever!! If this woman doesn't want to be helpful to her customers then maybe she should find another occupation.

I just switched all my medications from rite aid to a different pharmacy which I know will be good news to the employees in the pharmacy because they seem to really dislike any customers they deal with. I understand that the employees have to deal with rude customers on a daily basis but not every customer deserves to be treated with disrespect.This is the first time I’ve ever made a complaint or wrote a bad review of any business and unfortunately I will never spend another dollar with this business again.Some people have to take medication on a daily basis and if they go a day or more without the med it could be dangerous for them or in some cases life threatening and if you no longer carry a prescription you should give the customer a notice before they need a refill so they have time to figure out how to fix the situation before something dangerous happens.

I tried for three days, to get through to the pharmacy, finally today I got a hold of staff in the store… They transferred me to pharmacy. I waited 13 minutes total. Yes, I am going to change my prescriptions to Grants Pass pharmacy. But I just wanna let everybody know that if you are shut in and the only way you can get a hold of the pharmacy is on the phone because you can’t get a hold of Riteaid online For the local store, good luck. Reprehensible service, in my mind.

They don't pick up the phone they are super slow like I was in the store to see if the phone was even ringing sure enough it was and they just pick it up and put it on hold and continue to do so even tho they were doing nothing they all should be fired

This is an extremely clean store, with a very friendly and personal staff.I have to drive fifteen minutes farther to go to this store, but it’s really worth it.

The wait time at this pharmacy has been too long for this disabled person to go here, as of today Rite Aid I will no longer be doing business of any kind with you. Also, they would not let me use my coupons THEY mailed to me at this store??????? & you all wonder why you are going out of business?????

The technician took the time to look up the price of a rx for me but also explained about the Good Rx app. She said I could look up the medication and each pharmacy price on there with discount. I’ve been so stressed about how I would afford my medication and now I can breathe easy. I wish I got her name but thank you!!!! The little things can be the biggest things in a persons day sometimes.

I am so beyond frustrated and irritated by this pharmacy. I've read all of the reviews and while I can relate to a number of the negative comments, avoided posting my own review until today. I tried to refill a prescription for a non narcotic blood pressure medication on Friday and was told very rudely that it was too soon... it was by about 4 days. I called and asked them to fill it this morning and after being on hold for 15+ minutes, was assured it would be ready by 2. My husband went after work to pick up that medication along with others. After waiting in line behind about 10 people with only 1 person working the counter and doing so with no sense of urgency, he got home only to see that they forgot 1 prescription. This is just one instance... I've been very disappointed with the lack of customer service for quite awhile. I quit going to 2 different local pharmacies due to excessively long waits, rude employees, forgetting my prescriptions, among other reasons. I'm now left with Rite Aid being my last option and am as unimpressed with them as I was with the others

Pharmacy hours are posted to 8pm weekdays, and their phone message says the same. They said they would finish my prescription today and text when done,, but I started getting worried at 7pm and drove there. Well, I got there at 7:15 and they were ALREADY CLOSED. Now I will miss 2-3 more doses of my medication before they open tomorrow. Really frustrated.

The lady at the pharmacy was so extremely unprofessional and rude. It was my first time going to the Rite Aid pharmacy and apparently I didn't stand in the right spot at the pickup counter. She rolled her eyes at me and turned to her colleague to talk about how she can't believe that people just walk up to the counter. Um, I wasn't cutting anyone in line!! And there are no prompts to tell people where they're supposed to stand. You can get better customer service at ANY other pharmacy.

I wanted to leave a positive review for the pharmacy at the Rite Aid on Williams Highway. A customer was being extremely rude to one of the associates and she responded with nothing but kindness. I work with the public and I therefore know how difficult it is to handle rude customers; this is why I can say this employee went above and beyond.The pharmacist is also very kind, patient, and professional.You are all doing a wonderful job. Thank you for all you do!

this is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They do not answer their phones. They do not contact you if there is an issue with the refill. You have to drive down to the store to find out if it is ready or not or if there is a problem. They are sometimes rude. Not a good situation.

The worst pharmacy I’ve ever been to! You call and no one ever answers.. you can’t even leave a voicemail.. I went through the prompter 8 times (15minutes of ringing) when I decided I had enough.. I called in my prescriptions 5 days ago to have them ready as I am having a surgery and need them. It’s a freaking joke!!! You stand in line for 15 minutes if your lucky for them to tell you it’s not ready and you can’t call ahead of time to see if they are ready because no one answers.. Not to mention they are rude when you do get up to the counter… I don’t get it but I need this for a life saving surgery… I wish I could give them a lower rating than a one…

Very disappointed! I had been trying to reach the pharmacy all day. I called the front of the store last night to see if the pharmacy was closed for some reason. Lisa was super rude to start the call and when I tried to ask her a question she just put me on hold and left me on hold for 20 minutes.

Since moving to Grants Pass, I began using Wal-Mart pharmacy which while the staff was not rude, their lines were usually ridiculous. Next I tried Fred Meyer, and that was the worst pharmacy I have ever utilized. The staff were rude beyond belief, treating me as if I were a delinquent - Donovan was an exception to this, and two techs, one of whom eventually left. I then tried this RiteAid, and I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and overall service in their department. While there is a line during rush hour, it usually only takes a couple minutes, and I have repeatedly seen their staff go the extra mile for me working to get me the lowest cost on my Rx - including the use of coupons. Thanks to you all!
