I’m not one to do reviews but I’m pretty annoyed at the cutting with my fabrics. I got four pieces and each fabric was off. The cutting is not even. This makes doing my projects very hard.Still a good place to shop for other things!

I love the variety and quality of items I can get here compared to Walmart. Since that's basically all we have in this small town. We'll and Fred Meyers. Anyway, they have good stuff but they are a little high priced. However if you download their app and save the coupons that you can use then you will end up walking out with a lot for little money. This is one of those places where it's all about the app and coupons or forget it.UPDATE:Aug 8th 2023I have been completely disappointed in this store lately. Every time I go in for something the shelves are mostly empty. I thought they were closing a few times due to how empty it is. They stopped carrying many common items that are used for a lot of projects. I'm bummed at the lack of craft and art supplies this town has.Update:I still feel disappointed how nothing ever seems to be in stock. I'm also disappointed at higher up management for not doing a better job of employing more people. The few that work there are always overwhelmed. They need more help there.

Totally awesome! I had no idea what I was doing. The manager Jocwelyn is brilliant, kind, helpful. Had a terrific idea for fixing this, directed me to another vendor for part of the solution, and got me the best price. Totally awesome.

Donna who is apparently some type of manager there is incredibly rude and lazy. Would rather explain In detail how she doesn’t have to time cut a piece of fabric in half than actually spend an extra 20 seconds to cut the fabric. What ever happened to customer service? It was fabric for my daughter and her friend and they wanted them to match so we needed them cut separately and she refused. Who does that? 70.00 in fabric later….I honestly wish I would have walked out .

Definitely excited with their door buster sale right now! Though I do believe that if you don't know how to use a computer right don't use it the cashier kid could didn't understand much about the register but hey no harm no foul still happy with everything I got! All this for $30

The Grants Pass store needs an overhaul for sure. The layout is cumbersome and not well thought out. The variety of fabrics is not great either. They do have a ver nice yarn section. Their thread collection is good. The zipper section could be improved as well as the variety of notions. The bargain table is a disaster. I seldom take the time to go through it because it's so messy and unorganized. It would be nice if the main office would send someone in to organize it and make it more appealing. Plus, it's definitely hard to get around there with a wheelchair.

The one star review is for the unsafe environment.The store is understaffed and there's no one around to help. The few employees that work there are kind and courteous, so I'd give them 5 stars because they are doing the best they can.I visited the store yesterday and today. Both times I witnessed male shoplifters.I was informed that the company staff are not to do anything about it such as calling the police.This is disturbing because it encourages thieves to frequent the store. Both men I saw looked like jailbirds. IF Joanne's Corporate does not support a safe environment for their employees and customers I don't want to support a company like that.

They have incredible deals now and then. Store is organized and spacious enough to maneuver well. They do not carry candle making supplies or airbrush paint! I did an online order and picked it up as well as got amazing deals on fabric and all went smoothly. I took a number like the sign says and no one ever called me at the fabric portion. They told me that when it isn't super busy in the store just ring the bell instead. :) That would have saved me a LOT of time so I figured I'd share! Happy Crafting!

Good on-hand inventory and selection. Pricing slightly above average. Service was ok.It turned out I needed to return some of the products I purchased. It was a saturday late afternoon. There was one other return in front of me and one person with a large order. The other person's return of 4 items took about 20 min. I did ask if they had other team members they could call to assist. Dead silence. 8 more minutes and team member calls for help. Total time for me to walk in and do a simple return was about 45 minutes. I can't give a good service review at this time.

Overall they have good fabric. The prices on somethings are a little steep, but I'm not a fabric expert. There was quite a long wait. It's important to be friendly but with a long line there should be some focus on timeliness and a little less focus on personal conversations.

This store in Grant's Pass is awesome. The people are super friendly and there isn't a long wait at the cutting table. The store is really organized. Wish they didn't have all the stuff available in the check out area because my kids want to buy it all.

Let me tell you about Lisa!! She had amazing customer service from beginning to end, was very personable and even helped me with Cricut tips and tricks! I have ran my own retail business for years and know an outstanding employee when I see one! She is something special. I will definitely be back to this location just because of the great customer service I had received today. Thanks Lisa!

I hate leaving negative reviews but this one lady at the cutting counter is not friendly at all when you approach the counter. She doesn't even greet you until like a minute later and all she says is "what can I get you".. But.. Once she gives you your fabric slip she's all cheery and sends you off happily. It almost feels like she's happy she's done serving you and for you to get out of her face. It happens every time she cuts my fabric. All of the other employees are great otherwise

Always great customer service, but doesn't have a lot of employees at busy times, so you often have to wait in line awhile. Not the employees' fault so I'm always kind to them when it happens, but better for others to have a heads up that it's probly gonna happen so the kindness can be reproduced.Fairly small store, but it's packed full, so has a good variety of products (which is nice since we don't have a Michael's/Craft Warehouse/Hobby Lobby). They have art supplies, unfinished wood, floral, fabric, sewing/quilting supplies including machines, jewelry making, cake decorating, pillow forms/foam, knitting/crocheting supplies & yarn, some wedding stuff, & more ( that's just all I've experienced myself).

If you are artsy/crafty, than check out Joanns. Sometimes they don't have much, but it's been hard for every store to keep their stock up to par with the virus going around. Bottom line? Great place to go, have fun, get lost, and get new craft ideas. Stay healthy as and happy!!!

We get frustrated with the couponing system, but we keep coming back. It's the best craft resource in Grants Pass.To be fair, the clerks are usually very warm and helpful. You should have seen them pouring over the racks when I told them I was trying a find just the right blue plaid to replicate our sons Christmas stocking that was lost in the Alameda Fire! I could hardly get them to stop.

While I have always had a good experience while shopping in the store I cannot say the same for shopping Joann fabric online. I have tried shopping online twice now and both times my order was confirmed only to receive an email later to tell me items on my order have been canceled. I have yet to receive a full order. I would suggest that there needs to be better system in place to track stock availability rather than accepting an order and then later deciding you do not have enough of an item to fulfill an order. I am very disappointed in your current process and will not be ordering online in the futurem

Grants Pass store is well stocked ....why must Joann mark their items up sky high and force customers to scrounge for coupons to get the items at a cost other stores sell for to begin with? Bend over and grab your ankles!

I only buy the fabric on sale at this store, great prices. But if you need help it might take the lady's that work there at least 10 to 15 min to help you. Other than that, it was okay.

Great selection and super friendly staff!! It was kinda fun when we first went in... they only had half the lights working. But good old cell phone flashlights got us thru until the lights were ALL on. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
