The owner is extremely rude and unprofessional. He should not be working with the general public. I can’t stress that enough. The woman at the register was friendly and helpful though. Although when asked a question that she could not answer you could see the fear in her eyes as she said she would ask her boss. Poor thing

Family owned and operated. Prior store clerk sweet and very nice. Prior deli help(aka-my husband), got to experience her sweetness, on the clock and off. She will bend over backwards and forwards for the customers and the help. Highly recommend, good biscuits and gravy. Great help if you want to restart or stop your years of relationship experience. But that was my experience years ago, but still leaves a rare taste in my mouth 👄. Great grinders. 👍

Ate and worked at quite a bit of pizza parlors, and by far this pizza is hands down the best I've ever had, their curst is so crispy, the cheese they put on is more than enough, not to mention the customer service there is excellent. Great store!

I live a few blocks from Highland market and I am very glad to have a place I can run down to for that few items I need. Mr "C" is very funny and easy to chat with.

The owner was so RUDE!! He was yelling at me telling me to be a better mother just because my kids forgot there mask. Ask them to leave the store or go get them and then come back. Don't yell at them tell them to grow up also dont go and hurt there feelings like that! How do you know if we were not just evacuated or our house burned down. He is so rude! Will not be going back there! Worse customer service ever!!!!

The owner is very cautious of kids stealing. Being right next to the school I can see why, but it seemed like the person they kicked out was mistaken for someone else, besides the fact that they literally locked the door as my 3 yr old daughter and I were trying to open it. We just wanted some candy but I guess it was 9:00 on the dot.

I don't like anything about this store the food is way greasy and I have lived in this area my whole life attended NMS and GPHS. It hasn't been as bad as a kid spending a couple bucks here and there, but as I grew up and started a career in business management myself. I have realized the owner is one of the rudest and most selfish person I have meet. He uses a fake 5 dollar minimum on all card purchases which you can do then refuses the sell if you don't get more then 5 dollars. I will drive into town now to spend my $4.95 since they will take it.

Its getting a little long in the tooth, and could use a refresh. But thats all they really have in that area so they probably aren't highly motivated to change things. A redbox out front would be nice. It would also be a really nice place for a city bus stop as it is still a community hub for the highland area.

It's a pretty spendy convenient store...the owner is a bit of a jerk, and they brag about their homade biscuits and gravy, but that slop is served up from a can and biscuits were hard and old...not homade and only good if you're hungover.
