Angie the owner is great. Visiting in town with two rescued dogs. She helped me with beds/blankets for both. A proper fitting harness for one.She also gave me information where I can get my female dog spayed, shots and an exam.Recommend this place whole heartedly.

We stopped on a whim. They had a sign out for dog adoption.. the lady who opened the door was initially less than inviting. She warmed up to us and let us come in. They rescue and board dogs. We met a couple large dogs, not very friendly. We left a bit confused as to why the sign was out but no dogs were being shown.

We just learned about Angie and her rescue and then adopted our new fur baby in January 2020. Angie was wonderful! They do such good work getting homes to abused or neglected or just ones needing re-homing. Located in Polk County Oregon on Hwy 18 by Spirit Mt Casino. Great board facilities also for those on their way to the Oregon coast.

BEWARE!!! My wife was verbally harassed by this woman. The dog we tried to adopt broke her teather to attack a neighbor who was walking his small dog. We were flat out lied to about the dog's age and breed. The dog was advertised as 3 year old Boxer mix. Vet said 7-8 years and American Staffordshire. I see by the other reviews that we are not the only ones who were lied to about the same dog... LILY!! We were warned that the dog could not be around other animals. We were not told the dog wanted to kill everything it could, would try to bite everyone, and needed to be caged! The attack was caught on security cam but Angie wouldn't even watch it. She knew and knowingly allows dogs like these to be adopted. We now have a 1200 dollar vet bill for injuries to our neighbor's dog. My wife also needed medical attention from trying to pull the dog off of our neighbor's dog. We respected Angie's wishes which was to bring the dog back to ruff life if we decide not to keep her. Do yourself a favor and don't. She will get in your face and verbally attack you. She knew we were bringing the dog back. The dog's previous foster family were notified of the incident by me beforehand, so it's obvious she got a call. AVOID THIS PLACE!! THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT GETTING THESE DOGS OUT THE DOOR.

Adopted a Fur Baby. Was very well cared for. Gave me all information on the pet. Did a meet & greet for around an hour. Personnel answered all my questions. It was a very pleasant experience. Would highly recommend.

BEWARE!!!! ANGIE AT RUFF LIFE LIED TO ME ABOUT A DOG NAMED LILY AN 8YR OLD PIT MIX. SHE SAID SHE WAS BOXER MIX AND 3YRS OLD. THE DOG IS SWEET W ONE OWNER ONLY NO VISITORS OR ANIMAL. LILY ALMOST BIT 3 PEOPLE IN MY PRESENCE . GROWLED AT EVERYONE AGGRESSIVELY AND ATTACKED MY TURTLES AND KILLED OUR PARROT ALL IN 2 DAYZZZ... VERY AGGRESSIVE WITH EVERY PERSON, DOG AND ANIMAL. SHE IS A DANGER TO THE PUBLIC. PLEASE BEWARE! I DONT WANT ANYONE HURT OR KILLED.. ANGIE WAS VERY MEAN AND EMPATHETIC . VERY SAD AND TRAUMATIC SITUATION.

Driver of the van was speeding on I-84 going east bound. Driver came from behind me and disappeared in front of me. Not to bright in a company vehicle with the name and phone number! I hope there were not pets in the van!
