Lost my phone on the mountain and came down here to get some help. Not their job to help find my friends and family, but they could’ve had at least some come decency and empathy and make an attempt. Nobody even offered a mobile phone. You guys are terrible

0 stars for the restaurant. They have a hot dog with a bunch of toppings. I asked for a hot dog with just 1 of the toppings. They wouldn't sell it to me because "it was too busy". Defies logic to me. Should make it easier, right?Ski area is.fine for beginners. Very slow single lift though, but pass is cheap. 4 stars for slopes.

My family are yearly patrons of Summit Pass and Timberline that purchase season passes for several years now. It’s unfortunate that we had experienced this occurrence today with a ski patrol employee and a very rude manager at the summit. My husband and I currently have a parent season pass and my daughter has a season pass as well. My son who is 5 years of age has a free timberline pass.As patrons of the summit who purchase a season pass allow us to enjoy our winter activities with our children together. My husband will wear the parent pass to take my daughter up the lift to ride down the mountain on their snowboards. While they both are up on higher elevation, I take my 5 year old son to the bunny hill who also wears his pass. I escort him to the tube and he is experienced riding through the conveyor belt by himself while I wait at the bottom of the bunny hill for him. We have done this for many years with my daughter as well when she was younger and I abide by the safety rules.Today, I have done the same thing; however, I was approached by ski patrol to move behind the netted area. As a carrier of a parent season pass, I’m aware and have signed on the waiver as I do every year. The patrol man was not familiar with a parent pass which is surprising for an employee to not know the what the purpose is of a parent pass but is checking on whether patrons are carrying their passes. It’s very upsetting that he said that he will “make it hard for me” as a patron here who has a parent season pass which is very absurd and quite frankly this sounded like a threat which very unprofessional. I also don’t appreciate how the manager approached me either and told me about the confusion I had about the use of the parent pass. I let him know that I am not confused about the parent pass because my husband is using it while he’s on the ski lift with my daughter and I am just escorting my 5 year old son to the conveyor belt and I am not riding it. I have done this in the past with no issues previously. Again, I have signed the waiver that’s required for a parent pass. don’t appreciate how the manager handled the situation he raised his voice at me and I had to ask for permission to wait for my 5 year old son to come down.Additionally, there was another family there that didn’t have a parent pass but one parent had purchased a lift ticket to escort their child on the conveyor belt while the other parent was able to walk up and down the bunny hill without a pass. This is unfair because I was told differently and was given a hard time and was told I could not walk up and down the bunny hill without a pass even though my husband and I have a parent pass. This situation defeats the purpose of have a parent pass. Many families come up here for the very same reason we do which is to take our kids and teach them how snowboard or ski because summit is runs are easy and the bunny hill is easily accessible. Seems like the up and changed the rules in one day that made for a lot of upset families.I normally would give this place 4 stars out of 5 but due to my utterly disturbing experience, i have rated them 1 star and I will not be purchasing as my family our annual season pass at Summit. Management and the ski patrol need to immediate training on customer experience.

Bearbeque poem.My rented house entrance had one stair, and there was a noise, I knew it was bear. At midnight he was, I just didn't care. Too late for hellos by the trash can fare. Too tired to greet the front door bear. I was sleepy and ghosted the bear over there. But the trash can noise continue for a while, and I wondered if evening's barbeque made bear smile. So, I thought let me see the bear enjoy chicken dinner, but I couldn't see him through the high door windows. So I moved to the kitchen and saw the winner. He was loving the sauce from Timberline Summit Pass, dear lord it was spicy, this bear will know when tomorrow in the woods its time to pass.G. It's one lift at Summit but has like 3 tracks to snowboard. I paid $60 for a half day for me and my son. This place is awesome!! I'm a beginner and my son is medium rider and he had a blast, I was worried that he'll be bored of Summit but he had fun.

Perfect spot for a beginner or first-timer learning how to ski/snowboard. Easy access from Portland. Nice dynamic pricing for 1/2 day options. Runs are the perfect length, a few different route and obstacles to take (narrow, rolling hills/jumps, trees). And the snow was nice and powdery.

Great place for a fun day In the snow and great staff this is hands down best place to go with family. I do recommend always carrying chains in your car because road conditions change very fast but the roads are very easy to maneuver and plenty of space for driving and not to far from sandy.

11/10 recommend this spot for a beginner skier. The runs are long enough, but not super steep, so you can really practice the basics and get comfortable. I started the day shaky but optimistic and ended it with a huge smile on my face and gained tremendous confidence. Hardly anyone on the slopes and reasonable lift price. So excited to keep skiing! Would be willing to pay more if they invested in the ski lift - very slow and it seemed like they were having maintenance issues as we came to a stop for ~5 min on a ride up

Stopped on the way home from camping for a quick bite to eat at 10am. Best breakfast sandwich ever! Seriously the bomb. The view of Hood in the background with a hot cup of Joe. 5 stars. Awesome customer service. No complaints.

Company needs to spend some money to provide minimal level of comfort - most of lift seats have no cushion, just black draping!?! There are no lockers. One person restroom for the whole facility.Took us over an hour to get a rental gear.On the positive side, place is probably least expensive in the area.

Forget about Snow Bunny. I'd rather pay the money to come here at Summit Ski so the kiddos can go tubing safely. Less of a crowd between 9am to 2p and there aren't people walking up the hill while you're trying to sled downhill. Bonus is the little cafe here & the clean bathrooms. My family and I are definitely coming back!

Really nice area to be on Mt. Hood. Hiking trails, skiing, snowboarding, and many other activities to do there. Great for kids too with great sledding spots.

First time here and I really enjoyed the runs up in Timberline and Jeff Flood lift. The lift right at the Summit pass is for greens and beginners. But you can catch a free shuttle up to Timberline or drive (only recommended if you get there super early).I got lucky with catching a powdery day on a long weekend. I'm surprised it isn't crowded at all! I never had to wait for more than a couple minutes for the ski lift.

Everything you could want for a place to learn - a slice of heaven for me and my six year old.If you’re looking for the Vail / Aspen experience you’re in the wrong place. If you’re looking for an old school ski lodge and a fun simple hill full of laughter and families...you’re in luck, and your walker is too.Good terrain variation that has helped my kid develop. For $35 we both ski. Awesome.Be sure to hit Mt Hood Brewing on the way down for great food and drinks.

Used to be a family owned place that got a little run down with bad food and no adult beverage options. Now it’s owned by Timberline and it shows, the place looks great and Mt. Hood Brewing beer being served at an affordable price is killer.Great place to teach small kids to ski or snowboard and it’s also close to the rest of Govy. The only downfall is the parking since it’s attached to the ODOT rest area that gets a lot of traffic.

We love this place, and we have easy access from Portland. Small ski runs, which are perfect for kids, and beginners of all ages. The price is really fair and the gift lines are really never too long. Parking can be difficult, but the food is priced reasonably.

A yearly delight for friends and family! As a local, previous rental manager, and friend, I have been skiing and recommending Summit for nearly 20 years. I love this place!
