Wow! I'm not used to having so many vegan options. That was delicious and such a pleasant surprise. I had the BBQ jack fruit sandwich with an apple vinaigrette which was nummy in it's own right. The hubby had the cheeseburger and fries. The fries were delicious and he really liked the aoli sauce on the burger.Definitely recommend this place.Vegetarian options: Quite a few options. More than I'm used to. Delicious!

Good product for a good price

Clean place, ski lodge pub theme, waitress was good and helpful 👌. Food was priced fair, I had the Gyro , it was tasty but would say that having had eaten at least 12 other Gyro places the meat here was paper thin. I would recommend maybe make it twice as thick or twice as much. Also maybe have more Tzatziki sauce or side of it. They served plenty of cool looking fries with it. My wife had the grilled cheese sandwich 🥪 which she 👍 liked. I would eat here again but maybe try the burgers 🍔 next time to see how they are. The menu didn't say if burgers are 1/3rd pnd or 1/2 pnd but looked good.

The owner is a hoot. Very welcoming atmosphere. The chef sent out bruschetta for us to try, just because. It was great with our micros. Nice selection of beer and cider.

My wife had the cauliflower schnitzel and really enjoyed it. I had a salad with salmon on it. The salad was great, the salmon was ok but reasonably priced.Don’t order the Baked Alaska (Mt Hood dessert). It was awful, like a bowl of ice cream that melted and then was frozen solid. When they served it we could barely get a spoon in it and it tasted as bad as it looked. We sent it back and they removed it from our bill and comped us a bowl of ice cream with chocolate sauce. Server was great!

Pleasant restaurant just a little bit on the side of the US 26. We asked Bavarian Sausage Plate and a couple of hamburgers are both had a very good size and taste. Prices are compatible with these features. I wished you could order or ask for an additional side of baguette because the Bavarian plate (which was fantastic) needed more starchy food (other than beans). Also I wished the baguette slices were less cold and with more crust. Maybe toasting the slices before serving them would work?. The rest, ambiance, and cleanliness were pretty good. Service was a little bit on the laid back side...which was not bad given our level of tiredness. Check the opening hours or call first, we visited on a Friday and it was open. There's no much parking available in the front.

A good burger in Government Camp? Honestly it depends on the day, but tonight, this isn't it. Ordered "on the rare side" with extra crispy fries and the burger was so well done that pieces broke off when I cut it in half, and the fries were limp and saltless with none on the table. Not that busy, my beer is empty, but there's only one server doing the best she can.

All that I have to say is...WOW!!!!! Such a fantastic and professional establishment! Matt and the Glacier Public House staff set up an incredible covid safe rehearsal dinner for my husband and I, and our families. They worked with us to create a personalized appetizer, dinner, and drink menu, and their food is absolutely amazing! Working with them was so unbelievably easy - I have never worked with a more enthusiastic staff! Their main goal was to serve our family and make the night an unforgettable experience! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The Glacier Public House does not disappoint.

Really delicious meal after some outdoor adventuring! Party of two, we each had a drink (beer and cider), and ordered gyro and the Diamond (peak?) Burger. Both were perfectly prepared. They came with sidewinder fries that were like potato wedges cut on a spiral and fried to perfection with a soft and fluffy middle. Service was very good, one person servicing the whole place. A large group came in at the same time as us and while that slowed the process a little we had a nice spot on the dog “encouraged” patio to enjoy our drinks while we waited.

Food was good, but service was slow. Waited a while for the food, and after I ate, I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time to get the check and eventually just ended up paying at the counter. Maybe it’s better during a less busy time, but lunchtime on a Sunday isn’t great.

UPDATE 12/17: something has changed in the last year (ownership maybe?). Beer list is still decent but the food program misses the mark. Used to be a small but dependable menu of quality mountain comfort foods, but now you have to pick carefully to avoid lackluster menu items (read: buy fried things). I’ll certainly be back for the beer and the service!*************Great little spot with good beers, solid staples for food, and great staff.

A quaint little restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining. I ordered a cheeseburger with their special aioli sauce and fries. The burger was delightful but, honestly, nothing special. The fries, on the other hand, were both a visual and gustatory experience. I will not ruin the surprise for you by describing it here. You will simply have to experience them for yourself. You also must try their McKenzie draft root beer.My only complaint is their service is quite slow.Vegetarian options: They do have vegan and gluten free options.

Best chicken fingers this side of the Kuiper Belt. Space joke? Yup, but seriously these tendies are out of this world. Battered, well seasoned and perfectly fried to a golden crispy perfection. The heaping serving of piping hot fries and side dipping sauce yields an outer body experience. Add one of several excellent beers on tap and transcend to nirvana. Think I'm exaggerating? I'm not. I dream about these chicken fingers.

This place looked cool & laid back. Interesting sandwich offerings, so we tried it for lunch. The staff were pleasant, but the service was horrible. It took forever for a chicken sandwich and a chicken salad sandwich. We received the plates of food and it was very disappointing. Chicken breast on the grilled chicken with mozzarella & pancetta was like a 4th of a chicken breast, didn’t even try to cover the bread. It also felt like it was the precooked chicken you get in the freezer section of Fred Meyers. The fries were fine, sidewinder fries like you get at a sport arena.Chicken salad was just canned chicken with mayo: nothing special. For $40, we felt totally ripped off. Will not be back.

Under new ownership and it’s SO much better! The food menu is completely new and has many more inclusive options, especially for vegetarian/vegan folks. I enjoyed the jackfruit sandwich and my husband got the burger. Both were some of the best dishes we have had on the mountain. Service is still meh but that’s pretty consistent for everywhere up here.Vegetarian options: Jackfruit and cauliflower entréesDietary restrictions: Several vegetarian and vegan options
